About: Hello! My name is Sara! I’ve had pets my entire life and enjoy caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for cats and dogs of different sizes and breeds, including those with extra needs such as medications. I have one dog of my own named Willow, she is a black lab mix with a lot of energy. While I'm not able to host other dogs at my place, I'm more than happy to take care of your pets in the comfort of their own home. I have a regular day to day job that has me out of the house for 8 - 9 hours a day Monday through Friday. What care routine do you follow in your home? About: I am a pre-veterinary student, work at an animal hospital in the NE, and work on the medical team at my favourite animal shelter here in Calgary! In addition to taking care of animals of my own, I have multiple years of experience caring for the needs of dogs, cats, and exotics - ranging from simple to complex needs. I have an abundance of experience working with animals in indoor and outdoor environments, and am comfortable using crates, muzzles, harnesses, leads, halters, backpacks, other carriers, etc. to ensure your pet is secure and safe. I'm versed in appropriate and safe handling and restraint techniques and am able to lift heavier loads (i.e. your big babies!).

About: I have had pets since I was young, and I have always been responsible for taking care of those animals, whether it’s walking them, cleaning up after them, bathing them, training them, and overall just making sure the animals are living in a very high-quality environment. I have both a cat and a dogs. My dog is a bit larger, so I am knowledgeable on how to properly take care of a larger dog. I have also taken care of small dogs that my family and friends have had. Overall, I find I get along great with any animal! Respecting their boundaries is very important to me! I just finished my first year of university and I am working over the summer! I work most days but with a flexible schedule that allows me to check on your pets throughout the day! In my home my dog is outside and inside, but our cat stays inside. I value their safety, and although my dog is outside sometimes, I check on them frequently and give them constant attention to ensure that they are okay. In a clients home, I will follow their guidelines on whether or not the pets are indoors or outdoors, and I will give frequent attention to maintain their safety and well-being.
