“Dale and Lauren were wonderful! We have 3 dogs, 2 of which must be kept separated. Dale and Lauren met with us twice before our trip to chat about the dog’s needs and how we manage them. They sent regular updates and photos while we were away and really put our minds at ease. The house was kept clean and tidy. They watered our plants and even cleaned up our back garden before they left. They kept the dogs busy with fun activities based on each of their individual exercise requirements. Our dogs were happy and relaxed when we returned home. I would 100% recommend Dale and Lauren for house/pet sitting. They are reliable and trustworthy and I feel like they went above and beyond while caring for our dogs. I really enjoyed the cute cards they left for us at the end of their stay. “Our very first time using Rover in a super last minute pinch and we couldn’t be happier with Dionne helping us out! She replied fast on a late evening and was able to accommodate our two pups the very next afternoon. Our Doxie can have really bad separation anxiety and Dionne’s calm presence kept her cool and calm. I could tell when we pick her up that she didn’t feel stressed or anxious with us away!! Such a nice feeling and successful first stay with Dionne! The pictures of the pups relaxing with her helped ease any anxiety knowing they were happy and cared for. About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work from home, starting up my own business but I have free availability pretty much all day. I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.

“We were so fortunate to have Stacey care for our house and very active 9 month old dog Ollie while we were on vacation. Stacey and her sweet furry side kick Fred entertained Ollie with brain games, fetch, long walks and lots of snuggles! She sent us pictures and updates daily which our whole family enjoyed. We were so worried about Ollie due to him having separation anxiety. However, Stacey’s experience with dogs and willingness to keep Ollie mentally and physically stimulates worked like a charm! About: As an individual who was an employee at a dog rescue I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I was responsible for feeding, walking, playing, administering medications, bathing and giving lots of love to all kinds of dogs. Additionally, I have my Veterinary Technical Assistant certification. Over the years I have been someone that family friends have trusted to care for their pets and I hope you will too! I’m currently a full time university student with classes ending by 12:30 on most days. My evenings are often wide open so I could spend lots of time giving your pet the care they deserve. My availability on weekends is very open therefore I could give your pets my undivided attention. I would follow any feeding, walking, and behavioural procedures that owners have in place to ensure that your pet does not waver from their routine even if their owners are not there.

About: I've grown up around pets, and have experience with dogs, cats, horses, a lizard and fish, from all stages of life. I currently help my family care for four dogs, two cats, and three horses. Two of the dogs have issues with their hind legs, giving me experience with animals that have specific mobility needs. I'm also able to take care of dogs of all sizes, having grown up with small, medium, and large dogs. I currently pet sit casually for a friend, taking care of cats and dogs with differing needs (i.e. diet and the ability to go outside). I have the most experience working with animals in rural areas, but I am able to care for pets in urban areas too. I'm currently off for the summer, until I start school in the fall. This gives me plenty of time to take care of your pets so you can enjoy the summer without having to worry. I'm available short notice, and I can commit to long, full-time stays. I'm not as available starting September, but I can definitely do some pet sitting in the Calgary area. I'm very meticulous when it comes to taking care of your pets. Whatever their schedule, I'll make sure to follow it to a tee. If they need full-time care, I'll be there. I'm also a huge rule follower and hold myself to a high standard, so you can be sure they're getting great care. I've grown up around a lot of different animals and have taken care of a friend's furry bunch that have different and specific needs, and different personalities. Whether your pet has specific dietary, grooming, mobility or other needs, I'll do my best to fulfill them. I'll make sure to take the utmost care of your fur baby (or fur babies) so they feel comfortable and cared for.

I was so impressed when Gabrielle let me know that she brought Bailey to a puppy Valentine's celebration in Calgary- just because she thought that the dog would enjoy it! I came home to a spotless house and a happy and healthy puppy. There is no question that Gabrielle will be our go-to puppy sitter for the foreseeable future.
