About: We’ve both grown up with pets in the home since we were kids and have extensive experience with dogs. We have our own dog Toby who’s a 9 year old rescue and great with anyone. Our house is spacious and there’s plenty of room for a crate or bed if needed when your pet comes to stay. We live steps to away from an off leash dog park as well as regular trips out to the mountains for walks and hikes. We both have quite flexible schedules and have open availability including WFH. Lots of time to play with the pups and getting them their needed exercise. We have a spacious home with lots of room to chill. Great new area with a dog park only steps away. Are also mobile and do regular trips out to the mountains for a good stretch !

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. My first pup was a recuse from a puppy mill and we loved her for 16 years. When i was a young adult, i recused a stray tabby who sadly just past away at the ripe age of 21. We then just rescued another cat named Budweiser (not our choice but love it 😂) Now, my family and i have just finished loving our mini golden doodle in her 13th year and our hearts are missing that puppy presence. We are also a rescue foster dog family and love taking in the ones who need love the most. I have also volunteered in Nunavut at the animal rescue shelter and loved every minute of it. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.

About: Ever since I was a baby I’ve spent my life around animals from small to large, domestic to farm. I have always had a deep compassion for animals. As a child I always wanted to be around and with animals wanting to grow up working with them in any way. I have 5 years of experience working on a dairy farm and have worked at a doggy daycare. In 2023 I got my first puppy as an adult. Since then I have rescued 1, and had 2 rehomed to me as well. “Jeff is absolutely incredible. We planned a trip to Europe for 3 weeks and our dog just turned 1 year. Odin is also a big boy at 120lbs., yet he’s such a family dog and sensitive and is the most content when he’s with us - especially our 7 year old son. He’s well socialized and LOVES other dogs and people but his size can be intimidating so we knew we needed to find a unique person who could watch him throughout the day, provide love for his sensitive nature and give him structure and boundaries like we do. Wow…Jeff exceeded our expectations and then some. He was absolutely incredible. You can tell he’s been around tons of dogs and knows dog behaviour. He wanted to meet Odin first and have him come for a doggy daycare day prior to accepting the 3-week stay, which I appreciated so much. It let me know that Jeff cares about all the dogs in his pack and in his care and wants to establish a connection first and yo make sure every dog is a good fit. While we were away, he sent pictures and/or video every day….with updates!!! I didn’t expect an update every day, but I appreciated it so much and found myself looking forward to hearing from him every day. Odin was so happy! He was playing with so many dogs, was sleeping and eating well and I especially loved hearing Jeff laugh on the videos at the things Odin was doing. Jeff is like finding a needle in a haystack, and I feel so lucky to have had the reassurance and peace in my heart knowing Odin was loved and having fun! Thank you SO much Jeff!”
