About: I worked a summer job at a dog rescue taking care of up to 12 dogs and 2-3 litters of puppies all at the same time. I have grown up with animals my entire life and have experience with troubled dogs. I love animals and am super comfortable around all. I am a nail technician right now but am looking to spend more time with animals. My availability changes week by week as clients book for different times. I can care for pets in your home as I am comfortable around new places and new animals. I would love to do meet and greets with animals so they know who I am!

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and other small pets. My experience ranges from daily feeding, walking, grooming, and cleaning enclosures to providing companionship, basic training reinforcement, and medication when needed. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and loved while their owners are away, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own I’m a university student with most of my classes scheduled mid-day, which gives me a flexible schedule in the mornings, evenings, and many afternoons. This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, feeding times, and extended care as needed. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, and get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I tailor care to each pet’s needs—whether that means long walks, quiet companionship, litter or enclosure cleaning, grooming, or administering medication if required. I keep owners updated with messages and photos, and I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and a calm environment so pets feel secure while their owners are away.

Sara has been wonderful! We adopted a rescue who takes time to warm up to people and he gravitated to her right away. He is still learning his new space and Sara has been working with me to help him with that, especially when on leash outside. I was so nervous about this whole process but Sara has set my mind at ease with it all. I will continue to book her services as long as she is available!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds ever since I was a child. I have always had a passion for animals and have never lived in a home without them. Friends, families, neighbours, and colleagues have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and brush their furry loved ones. I have two dogs (Buddo and Eevee) who are trained off leash and on leash; they are incredibly friendly and love to play with other dogs. I am a teacher with full-time availability for doggy day care, walks, or checking in on your furry loved ones in the summer! Once the school year starts up, I am only available on weekends. When caring at my own home: I have two friendly dogs of my own, with a very large backyard for play time. The yard is split into two separately fenced areas, which allows for some quiet time from my own dogs if necessary. When caring in your home: I am comfortable crating your furry friend, administering medication, and following special feeding instructions if necessary. I send regular photo updates, along with feeding/water updates to ensure you know that your loved ones are safe and cared for.

About: As a dedicated pet lover with a deep passion for animals, being a pet sitter is not just a job for me, but a calling. I believe that pets are beloved members of our families, and they deserve the highest level of care and attention when their owners are away. With years of experience in pet care, including volunteering at local animal shelters and fostering animals in need, I have honed my skills in providing exceptional care for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I understand the unique needs and personalities of different animals, and I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for them. One of my top priorities as a pet sitter is the health and safety of the pets in my care. That's why I require all pets to be up-to-date on vaccinations to ensure the well-being of both the visiting pets and those in my home. This policy ensures a healthy and secure environment for all furry guests. I have a very secure location in my house where they are allowed to roam freely in the house with my small yard. I prefer the environment where the client is more comfortable towards its furry being as I understand animals love to stay more where they have grown up. I'm open to stay at client's house for a day or two for house sitting. As a pet sitter, I offer a range of services tailored to the needs of each individual pet, including regular exercise, feeding, bathing, and administering medication if necessary. I am also skilled in handling emergencies giving pet owners peace of mind knowing that their beloved pets are in capable and caring hands. Above all, my motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my unwavering love and passion for animals. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible for pets, creating a stress-free and enjoyable experience for them, and building lasting relationships with both the pets and their owners. I’m currently working from home, as my job offers me a flexible environment to work which helps me fulfill my passion of taking care of pets. On weekends I’m free so I can take full time care. I work according to the client’s need as they know their children better. There are no restrictions in my house as the little ones will not be chained or caged unless required as per the clients request as I believe they should have their own freedom and should feel like home.

Hamsha was a great cat sitter and she got along really well with my cat. She understood his personality, provided very thoughtful and timely updates with photos every time, and was very happy to deal with unexpected events. Very responsive too — always answering messages pretty fast and doing punctual visits during the time agreed. It was also a breeze to arrange a time for keys dropoff + meet & greet :) I can't recommend her enough!

About: Trusted Pet Sitter & Foster ! Caring for animals has always been more than just a passion—it's part of who I am. Since I was a child, I've been the one in my family who looked after our pets, giving them love, attention, and the care they needed. Also, spend most of my holidays in farm with a wide range of animals and learning even more about farm life. That early bond with animals naturally led me to work in a veterinary clinic for several years as a vet assistant, where I gained hands-on medical experience, and a deep understanding of animal health, and behavior. In addition to my vet background, I’m also a certified Reiki energy healer. I’ve worked with pets and even wildlife, helping them heal and relax through gentle, intuitive energy work. It’s a beautiful way to connect with animals on a deeper level—and they feel it. For the past five years, I’ve been fostering cats in Vancouver, volunteering with a medical team. Also, in Calgary area offering trusted pet sitting for dogs. I’ve also helped out on a ranch, caring for the horses. Whether you’re in the city or the countryside, I bring calm, compassion, and commitment to every animal I care for. I treat your pets like my own—with patience, love, and respect. I look forward to meeting your furry (or feathered!) family soon in Calgary surrounding, or worldwide . 🐾 I’m a dedicated sole-entrepreneur who works from home most of the time — and that means your pet will get my full attention, love, and care throughout the day. Spending most of my time indoors when working makes me truly value good company, and what better company than a furry friend? Whether you're in town or miles away, you can count on me to treat your pet like family — with warmth, responsibility, and lots of affection. I bring a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet can feel right at home. Let’s connect — I’d love to offer both you and your pet peace of mind. 🐾 Loving, Reliable & Active Pet Sitter – Your Pet’s Second Best Friend! 🐾 I’m someone pets naturally trust, and feel safe with. Whether you’re near, or far, you can count on me to give your furry friend all the care, love, and attention they deserve. If I'm caring for your pet at my place, we’re in luck – I have plenty of beautiful trails nearby for daily walks, fresh air, and sniffing adventures close to sandy beach, and the big off leash park! If I’m staying at your place, I adjust to your home setup. Got a garden? Perfect – we’ll enjoy the space together. No yard? No problem – I’ll make sure your pet stays active, and gets out for walks, exercise, and fun. I'm not just a sitter – I’m a calm, caring companion your pet can count on, and someone you can trust completely. 🐶🐱💛 Let’s connect – I’d love to meet you and your pet!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
