About: We have returned to Olds after living 7 years in Northern Alberta. Before leaving, I had a dog walking and pet sitting business called VIP Pet Services. I’ve had pets for the last 30 years and volunteered at the Wild Rose Humane Society. When the weather allows it, my dogs and I go for walks and play time with my dogs and our furry friends. I have a fully fenced yard for my 3 dogs (a chihuahua, a poodle mix, and a jack Russell mix) and 2 fosters (chihuahua mixed and chihuahua). I also have cats in my home so it’s important that your dog(s) is/are good with cats. We love to welcome dogs into our home when they need a little vacation from mom and dad. Dogs are fed on the same schedule as they’re at home. We have a fenced yard and we supervised playtime to ensure everyone is safe. If owners want, we can kennel their dog at night if that is what they’re used to. We try to respect what they do at home as much as possible.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life. My world revolves around animals, especially dogs. I have experience with reactivity and separation anxiety in dogs. I am currently working part-time, so i have quite a bit of free time on my hands! My schedule varies slightly, but I am available most days after 4pm. While caring for your pet, I’d love to play games with them, take them out in the yard, and feed or crate them if needed.

About: My family has always had a family dog(s), and we currently have 3 dogs on my parents acerage - I live outside of Olds now, and am looking forward to owning a place that I can have animals of my own soon! I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs - we have a Golden Retriever, a Bichon Shih Tzu, and a Golden Retriever cross with wolf and another breed. I am active and enjoy being outside in all the seasons! I have flexible hours and would like to have regular furry friends to care for when owners cannot! About: I've grown up around pets, and have experience with dogs, cats, horses, a lizard and fish, from all stages of life. I currently help my family care for four dogs, two cats, and three horses. Two of the dogs have issues with their hind legs, giving me experience with animals that have specific mobility needs. I'm also able to take care of dogs of all sizes, having grown up with small, medium, and large dogs. I currently pet sit casually for a friend, taking care of cats and dogs with differing needs (i.e. diet and the ability to go outside). I have the most experience working with animals in rural areas, but I am able to care for pets in urban areas too. I'm currently off for the summer, until I start school in the fall. This gives me plenty of time to take care of your pets so you can enjoy the summer without having to worry. I'm available short notice, and I can commit to long, full-time stays. I'm not as available starting September, but I can definitely do some pet sitting in the Calgary area. I'm very meticulous when it comes to taking care of your pets. Whatever their schedule, I'll make sure to follow it to a tee. If they need full-time care, I'll be there. I'm also a huge rule follower and hold myself to a high standard, so you can be sure they're getting great care. I've grown up around a lot of different animals and have taken care of a friend's furry bunch that have different and specific needs, and different personalities. Whether your pet has specific dietary, grooming, mobility or other needs, I'll do my best to fulfill them. I'll make sure to take the utmost care of your fur baby (or fur babies) so they feel comfortable and cared for.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and other small pets. My experience ranges from daily feeding, walking, grooming, and cleaning enclosures to providing companionship, basic training reinforcement, and medication when needed. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and loved while their owners are away, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own I’m a university student with most of my classes scheduled mid-day, which gives me a flexible schedule in the mornings, evenings, and many afternoons. This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, feeding times, and extended care as needed. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, and get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I tailor care to each pet’s needs—whether that means long walks, quiet companionship, litter or enclosure cleaning, grooming, or administering medication if required. I keep owners updated with messages and photos, and I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and a calm environment so pets feel secure while their owners are away.

About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work from home, starting up my own business but I have free availability pretty much all day. I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.

About: My kids are grown, I’m on my own but haven’t set new roots. This is my time to move around and I’d like to be of use. Willing to travel and often do between Cochrane, Kelowna and Grande Prairie too. I prefer to care for two or a few, im used to juggling a crew. I have been housesitting for friends and family a long time, I used to be a property maintenance manager, and now I am doing a course online. You can take the mom out of the nest, but you can’t take the nest out of the Mom. Caring for homes, pets, plants and people has always been part of who I am.
