About: Hello! My name is Luisa, and my pets are my whole world. I promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own. I am especially passionate about working with animals who may be fearful or have special needs. I have previously completed a two-year apprenticeship under a force-free dog trainer in Calgary, and although I am not currently working as a trainer due to completing my master's, what I learned informs all my interactions with animals. Through fostering and our own pets, I have experience administering medications to a wide range of animals (dogs, cats, bearded dragons, geckos, hedgehogs). I can be somewhat flexible around this; if you need overnight care slightly outside these parameters, please feel free to reach out! About: Ever since I was younger, I remember caring for animal well-being. I helped my mom with her boarding facility by watering and feeding the horses and helping with dewormer/medication. When I could throughout high school, I did pet sitting here and there for both cats and dogs as well as farm animals. I’ve also volunteered in several shelters around Red Deer, Alberta. I have taken one year of veterinary medical receptionist and have worked in a veterinary clinic for over a year. I am now enrolled in the veterinarian technician program and will be taking that for the next two years. I will be in school full-time however I am very open on weekends to play with your pups and once I have further knowledge on my school schedule, I will be available during holidays and long weekends. I am very attentive when it comes to being around animals whatever your pets routine may look like I can follow very easily to make you feel the most comfortable when leaving your pet alone with me.
About: I am a kind and attentive person who has had lots of experience with my own and other’s pets. Your baby will be in good hands :) I work part time so have lots of time to walk or check in on pups and kitties. I am available for overnight sitting most days as well. I have a small and modest home. I am open to providing accommodations for cats and small dogs during the day and/or overnight. Unfortunately there is not enough space for larger dogs.

Most of my friends and family have dogs, which has given me the experience to handle both big and small breeds and many different personalities. I currently have a puppy named Freya. I also shared many years with my previous dog, Daga, a husky/Mal mix who passed away at the age of 12, and Duke our black lab that passed away at almost 15. Dogs are a big part of my family, and my life, so I understand that they are more than just a pet, and they all deserve to be treated with excellent care. I am currently a stay at home mome with a very flexible schedule, making it easy for me to work around you and your pets needs. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will provide a calm and secure environment. Pets will always be supervised and cared for according to their routine.
