“Carina was amazing, she took such good care of my dog Chewy for a weekend, I was very impressed. Chewy needed special care as he was dealing with some back pain during this time. Carina followed instructions for giving medication, meals, and other small things to give Chewy a great stay and help him feel safe. She spoiled him with some quality homecooked beef and salmon, and lots of love. She also sent me many pics/videos/updates every and was very responsive. Chewy is doing well now and recovering. I highly recommend Carina as a dog sitter, she is very nice lady, she will give lots of love and care to your fur baby.”

About: We are a dog-loving, active couple who are all about fun walks, belly rubs, and tail-wagging adventures. With us, your pup will get plenty of playtime, exercise, and care—guaranteeing happy, tired tails by the end of the day! We have a garden that is fenced on three sides and we are located off the street on a quiet private lot. We are close to walking trails and are near to the beach. We have access to a car for pickup and drop off, going on longer adventures, or emergencies. Our schedule isn't fixed and therefore there will be some weekdays available, usually Mondays free. The evenings are often free with pickup available in the city center after 6:00pm. The weekends are much more flexible but we are willing to work with you! We also love snacks and walks so sharing these activities with your dog will be a blast! We will cater to your specific walking and feeding requirements just as you would. We only take dogs from the same home so there's no risk of new friends not getting along. We can usually accommodate pickup and drop off and have a car in case of emergency.

About: Like many others, I have been blessed with having the ability to care for animals throughout my life. In 2015, I had the wonderful opportunity to follow my passion professionally. I began working in a veterinarian clinic as a receptionist, technician assistant and external boarding for cats. After the adoption of our beloved Trixie in 2018, my focus shifted to behavior training while continuing care within the small animal medical atmosphere. Recently, I became certified as a professional pet dog trainer and specialized in aggression/reactivity/seperation anxiety. I continue my education through conferences/mentor sessions and am working towards becoming CCPDT certified. I am also an enrichment scent work instructor. I also have my Canine First Aid certification. If you are looking for someone to care for your companion, and would like to add any of the services that are mentioned above during their time with me (or at another time), I would love to get to know you and your companion. I am currently a stay at home mom and provide individualized training consultations as well as general pet care during early mornings and evenings during the week (including weekends). I offer limited care (1 or 2 dogs at a time) in my own home during the day if need be. My only requirements are that your companion not have prey drive (I do have cats and young children) and are good with another female adult dog. I have a large fenced in yard, and can accommodate your specific instructions/requirements as much as possible. Your companion will always be supervised and never left unattended.

About: I have never been without dogs in my life, from growing up at home to being independent in my own home and raising my family. I currently have 2 large breed and 1 small breed dog. I believe socializing dogs is key to having a well rounded dog. My dogs have been socialized around adults, seniors, children, babies, cats, horses, goats, sheep and chickens. I currently manage a retirement community in Red Deer, my husband is semi-retired. We have 2 dwelling on our acreage. My mother and uncle reside in the second dwelling and are around 24/7, because of this 0-2 hour potty breaks are able to be offered. I will be the sole sitter responsible for caring for the dogs in my care. Our dogs are a huge part of our family, and are included in outings. They are provided with at least one walk a day, and are often found outside with us while chores are being done, or a fire and the pit is being enjoyed. Our small breed dog joins me at work in the retirement community engages with 80+ residents there.

My husband and I have a 2 year old German shepherd named Apawllo who is a very goofy and affectionate guy who loves meeting new friends. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, ferrets, horses, cows, birds, and more. I feel comfortable handling any size animal and I believe that I would be a perfect fit. Your baby will be in good hands :) I work part time so have lots of time to walk or check in on pups and kitties. I am available for overnight sitting most days as well. I have a small and modest home. I am open to providing accommodations for cats and small dogs during the day and/or overnight. Unfortunately there is not enough space for larger dogs.

“Kristin and her family have watched Ocean twice after our initial meet and greet. Ocean is a very shy pup and has a lot of anxiety with people she doesn't know. The first overnight she was very shy and timid at drop off and hid upstairs for a lot of the evening. By night time she was up on the bed to cuddle with Kristin and her husband. When I picked her up the next day she was so comfortable and running about the house. The second time we went she ran right into the house, no fear or anxiety at all. She had a wonderful stay and loves the family and their dogs Jasper and Willow. I am more than happy with our experience with Kristin and the care she provides. I especially appreciate her understanding of Ocean's anxiety and need for space when she's anxious. I would highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again.
