“Samantha was such a wonderful sitter to our two boys! I cannot recommend her enough. She was communicative the whole time and kept us in the loop with how things were going. One of our boys is very shy with people and he warmed right up to her. We greatly appreciate all that she has done for us! Highly recommend her to look after your fur babies!”

“Theo was absolutely amazing with my cat, Alma! I felt so at ease knowing she was in such great hands. Theo went above and beyond, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares. Alma is going to miss her so much! I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable pet sitter.”

“Alexandra took amazing care of Luna! She messaged with updates everyday, and sent lots of pics. I also appreciated that she vacuumed when Luna made a mess - it was very thoughtful! Will certainly be rebooking - especially since Luna enjoyed her company also!”

“Ashley is wonderful with our cats! She is lovely to deal with - we’ve booked her multiple times and will continue to for as long as she’s on this site! (And even if she leaves lol) - Thanks Ashley!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chestermere
I am extremely happy with Ashley's service! She was thorough in her notes and let me know what my kitties were up to while I was away. She not only followed my instructions but went above and beyond by doing a little extra. My cats were very happy when I came back and one of my girls might like her more than me now! She is also a very warm and kind person, I felt incredibly at ease and comfortable from the very first meeting with her. Highly recommend, and will be reaching out again for future trips.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
