Now, I have 2 perfect baby boy cats, Steven and Shrimply. Recently, my Steve broke his leg and it has been a long and intensive journey nursing him back to health, but we are finally in the home stretch and he is doing great. I got him a surgery, I stayed up all night with him many times, and I kept a constant eye on him every waking moment. About: I’ve had plenty of barn cats growing up, and I loved taking responsibility for my fur babies. My sweet girl, in my picture is my pride and joy. You can’t ever spoil a cat. She can be spicy, but it’s been a learning experience curve and much needed.
About: Like all things feline, my first cats found me. Our family brought in two kittens from the alley when I was about 10 years old. As a family of 4, we lived in an 800-square-foot 1 bedroom house with 2 kittens, 3 Border Collies, 2 hamsters (+babies), and a snake. Take about a full house. Since then I have been lucky to live with at least a dozen different cats all with dozens of unique needs. I have raised kittens to cats, and gracefully led cats through their senior years. I have administered medication for medical issues such as URV, lung infections, epilepsy, and superficial cysts. I have also worked with special needs cats with litter box issues, blindness, and deafness. As of 2023, we adopted a cat for the first time after fostering cats for a year. Buffy (pictured above) stole our hearts and has become the head of our house in the short time we've had the pleasure of knowing her.

About: My first real job was managing a Pet Store, and this was where I really learnt dog training, dog breeds and their behaviours. I have always owned dogs.. and trained them myself. If there is a dog within eye sight.. look out. Will pet and talk to all the dogs. Just a huge pet lover. Have also fostered dogs with AARC's. I am self employed, so home all day. If I have errands to run, my dogs come with me.. or I have safe warm places for dogs to hang out. Depends on the dog, but free range around our house. Heated garage and huge fenced yard. It's not my house... it's my dogs house. Also have crate trained my dogs, so can use whatever your dog is comfortable with.

She has an amazing space for the animals both in and outside, she consistently sends photos of my boy having the MOST fun and he always comes home tired after a long day of playing hard with his friends. We had recently switched sitters/daycare as his previous sitter had to move, although Loki is a great boy I was nervous for him being anxious by new environments/people. He has went for the day, a couple hours and spent the night. Xi does it all. She always gives the best updates during the day via the app as well as touches base in person for pick-up. About: I have had large and small dogs in my life. Centrally located with a few parks by my house. I have experience with different harness, coats, putting boots and socks on. Happy to do it all so your dog is comfortable. I’ve moving from another province, and therefore have all the time to make this my number one priority. I do not have another employment at the moment. I do one to two hours of exercise in the morning- my late afternoons to evenings are free to provide help! When I drop by your home I would first ensure all the basic needs are met for your dog, whether you’d prefer if I just stop in for a quick moment while you’re at work, or if you’d like me ensure they get groomed. I will respect all boundaries put into place from the pet owner and never overstep. At the moment I am not offering boarding services.

Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk or stopping in for a visit, my goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is receiving attentive, knowledgeable and loving care. At the moment I have a very flexible schedule while I look for a more permanent job, which makes pet care a great fit for my routine. I’m newly pregnant and already spend a lot of my time with my own dog, so caring for other dogs throughout the day feels very natural to me. Because I have my own Brittany Spaniel, I already have a daily routine of walks, feeding times, and making sure dogs get plenty of attention and exercise. I just need to make sure I’m home in the evenings for my dog’s dinner, but I’m very open to working out schedules that work well for everyone. I love the idea of spending my days with dogs and making sure they feel cared for, happy, and safe. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes, where dogs can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment and routine. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, feeding routine, walking habits, boundaries and individual needs. I follow your care instructions closely and treat your home and your dog with the same respect and care I would want for my own.

About: I rescued a pitbull from a shelter and trained her, I’ve babysat my friends Dalmatian as a new puppy. Trained him to sit and pee outside in 6 days. I love cats, have sat sphynx’s and will one day have one. I love animals and will treat your own as my own. Fine with lizards, hamsters, sugar gliders etc as well.
