I regularly volunteer at local animal shelters, where I work with animals of different ages, temperaments, and care needs. Growing up with special needs animals has given me extensive experience caring for pets that require extra patience, attention, and individualized support. As a university student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medications, and any behavioral or medical considerations. I carefully follow all instructions provided by owners to ensure their pets experience as little disruption to their routine as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the home and the animals with the utmost respect. I keep the environment clean and secure, double-check that doors, gates, and leashes are properly fastened, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With my experience volunteering at local animal shelters and caring for animals with special needs throughout my life, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and responding calmly and responsibly. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free experience where both you and your pet can feel completely at ease.

About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work full time in the city and I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I’m very good with early mornings and late night visits. I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.

About: I have owned animals of all kinds since I was little. I have extensive knowledge and experience in caring for hamsters, guinea pigs, cats and dogs - a high number of them being reactive, specifically. I have 3 years of experience working with another company like Rover and going on my fifth year with Rover, and have over 20+ years of animal care experience. I have walked and provided a safe place for senior dogs, puppies, high energy and reactive pups and adult dogs, special needs dogs (such as tripod dogs, post surgery care), and also provided extended stays on a regular basis. I offer two to three walks a day. We are close to many areas with walking paths for lots of outside time I’m a mom to a 15 year old. I work as Rover sitter part-time. Due to this, I cannot take on clients (pets) for house sits that cannot be left alone for no more than 4 hours. I’m currently only accepting house sitting, walks and drop-in requests. I am available for house-sitting overnight 7 days a week, along with extended stays. Please let me know if you are comfortable having my 14 year old attend the stay in your house-sitting request. Flexible for meet and greets and trial runs. I offer walks and drop-in’s a few times a week. If you are needing someone to walk, or someone to check in on your pet, please reach out and we can discuss. I am open to walking your pets and can typically accommodate pets in other areas than my own. I am available for drop-in visits most Mondays to Fridays, and occasional Saturday, currently. This is subject to change without notice. I can accommodate up to 2 to 3 visits per day, per client, dependent on location and day. A bit of background information on my son: My son volunteered at the Calgary Humane Society weekly, so we spent a lot of time with all kinds of animals. He raised $2,126 and donated it to the Calgary Humane Society in 2023. He has a passion for animals of all kinds and is learning how to better care for all animals, as he would like to be a veterinarian when he is older. We live in a single-family close to many walking paths where I can take pups to play and walk on leash (when I’m accepting boardings). If you live in another area of the city, you can be confident that I will walk your pup according to your preferences or find new adventures to keep their mind stimulated. I only house sit for one family’s pet(s) at a time. This also goes for walks as well. This is to ensure the safety of all pets when they are in my care, and to be able to focus on the specific individual needs of each pet. Many of my clients have non-reactive doggos, however, a number of my clients are reactive to other animals. For this reason, I cannot provide multiple families walks or house-sitting at the same time (at the moment). I am currently NOT accepting boardings . However, during a boarding, in my home there is no need for a crate, unless this is necessary for your pet(s), as I allow animals on the furniture and to sleep and play wherever they are most comfortable. For house sittings, you can ensure that I will care for your pet as per your instructions. This includes feeding, walks, play time, bedtime preferences (such as sleeping in a crate or if allowed to sleep on the bed), etc. I am able to care for pets that have dietary restrictions, need care post surgery or have special needs, (e.g., a tripod pup). For walks and drop-in’s, you can expect that I follow your instructions on how to walk and care for your pet during those times. Including how to access your pet for their walk and meal times. Since there’s only my 15 year old son and I living in our home, you can be confident that your pups have someone to play with, snuggle and give them attention.

About: I love dogs and have experience with walking, bathing and feeding them. I want to make sure your pet is taken care of in a way that makes you feel supported in your day to day life! I am available weekdays from 5 am-7 am and 5 pm-11 pm. I able available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, meaning you can enjoy the weekend! The best way to keep a pet safe is cleanliness! About: Hello, I am an architectural technologist, and fitness freak. I own a 9 year old French Bulldog. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I am a crazy puppers owner, i love my furbaby like a human baby. I am very strict about health and behaviour with my doggo. My French bulldog is a sweet heart and cuddle monster, although he also struggles in big crowds. Which is something that is common with Frenchies, he gets anxiety and sometimes will then becomes aggressive with other dogs. Which is something I have been working on with him, and have seen great strides in the training I have been doing with him. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Ive owned dogs my whole life, i am very passionate about animals. I love spending time outdoors and being active so walking dogs is perfect for my daily routine. I am an animal lover, so it’s the perfect job My French bulldog has IVDD and hip dysplasia. He’s also had leg surgery so I am the type of person that will do anything for my pet.

About: I've fostered dogs, took care of neighbors animals and done dog walking. I have my own yellow lab who is my emotional support girl! I love puppies and senior dogs and all ages in between. I have lots of time for lunch walks, after work walks or play and can most definitely do weekends and have your fur baby stay with me too I take my dog for 3 to 4 walks a day so I can do the same for yours. We go to the river and throw the ball or she swims a bit.

About: I am back to providing great pet care after a couple years off of Rover! I grew up on a farm and have cared for animals for as long as I can remember, chickens, newborn kittens, hamsters, dogs, horses, and fish. I have also worked with animals at a pet store where I interacted with dogs and cats all day! I also have my own baby cats that are very spoiled and I help my partner care for his dog with walks and enrichment when he has to work long hours. I am currently working with 2 dogs who are large and reactive, so I have experience with difficult dogs. I have a lot of energy and love to run and I also love to make animals happy so I am committed to making sure dogs get enriching walks and training time, and cats get interactive play time. Call me, your animal will thank you :) I work weekends and have a flexible work schedule during the week so just let me know what times you need pet care and we can work it out! When I am caring for any dog I make sure to take them on a variety of walks, such as sniff-walks, training-walks, and exercise walks. I also understand the importance of play for both cats and dogs, and make sure to incorporate that as well. I am also comfortable going to the dog park for socialization if the dog I’m with is good in that setting. I normally don't let them say hi to other dogs or people on a walk unless the person I'm watching them for specifically says it’s ok or they want me to socialize their dog while on the leash.
