About: big big dog lover with years of experience, I can provide safe, engaging walks tailored to your pup's needs. Your furry friend will enjoy personalized attention and plenty of playtime while in my care 💕 we had a family dog that I took care of and always enjoyed taking friends’ and neighbors’ dogs on walky walks (as I like to call them). I currently work part-time and have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m always available for last minute requests! I usually know my schedule ahead of time and will adjust my availability accordingly. If weekly routines are wanted I can adjust my work schedule. I live in a very spacious apartment downtown. We don’t have a yard but the river right next door, as well as a big park and dog park only 1 block away!
About: English I have experience with both cats and dogs, and I’m naturally calm and patient, perfect for pets who enjoy a peaceful home. Indoors, I love cuddle time and playful moments, and I’m also familiar with enrichment toys and puzzle feeders that keep pets mentally stimulated. Outdoors, I have energy for hours, and I enjoy long walks and hikes. I care for pets under 30lbs, or larger ones as long as they don’t pull. English I work from home, so I am home most of the time to keep pets company. Once a month I go to Montreal for in-person work, but otherwise I am available almost every day. Français Je travaille de la maison, donc je suis à la maison la plupart du temps pour tenir compagnie aux animaux. Une fois par mois, je vais à Montréal pour du travail en personne, mais sinon je suis disponible presque tous les jours. English I am pretty flexible, only do clients’ home though (: Français Je suis plutôt flexible, je fais seulement la garde à votre maison (:
About: I have trained three dogs in my life and currently own a 6 month old golden retriever named Jack. I’m university educated and have a safe environment for your pup:) I recently graduated from Nipissing university and have a free schedule while I find a proper career which suits my degree. I’m home 24/7 and have a fenced in backyard. I’m patient and love animals so much. I enjoy playing outside, going for walks, and a little bit of training is also fun and helps keep Dog’s mind active. I am a very clean person and do not smoke.
About: I love dogs and have experience with walking, bathing and feeding them. I want to make sure your pet is taken care of in a way that makes you feel supported in your day to day life! I am available weekdays from 5 am-7 am and 5 pm-11 pm. I able available all day on Saturdays and Sundays, meaning you can enjoy the weekend! The best way to keep a pet safe is cleanliness! I will make sure your house is spotless, nothing dangerous is out and your dog is well fed, having fun and safe.
About: As a passionate pet lover, I believe pets bring unconditionally loved and joy, especially to those who may feel alone. If you're in need of last-minute pet sitting, look no further! I offer both visits and boarding services and can help out in emergency situations, whether is quick dog sit or a longer stay. As I'm currently not working, I can accommodate most schedules and provide flexible care. If you're int, feel free to message me for more details and availability. I live in a peaceful three-storey condo on a quiet street, perfect for your pip to enjoy some calm and space. With easy access to a local dog park, I'm happy to take your dog on walks 2-3 times a day to ensure they get the exercise and attention they deserve.
About: I have plenty of experience housesitting for friends and looking after my own doggies. I love gardening and endeavour to keep plants happy. I like keeping my environment clean and tidy, and am more than happy to run any errands that are required in the owner's absence (e.g. scheduled grooming for pets, routine checkups, putting bins out etc.). I have volunteered with DRU (local animal shelter) in the past as part of the bird and chicken team - poultry are full on! This gave me more experience in administering medication (to peacocks!), cleaning animals and identifying any issues, and cleaning out pens and enclosures. I’m currently housesitting in Kamloops - I am available for morning and afternoon check ins and walks on weekdays and weekends, as I work remotely on weekdays between 7pm and 11pm. I try to make sure pets keep to their routines! Having their families go away is stressful enough. I like to have a fair amount of info on your pets behaviours, routines, and things they like to do so they can be as comfortable as can be in your absence.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember! Whenever I see a dog or cat walking I always stop to say hi. I’ve taken care of my cousins dogs growing up and I finally got my own dog and two cats. Just love being around animals and caring for them. I’m currently working from home with a lot of free time to pay attention to an animal or child so I am taking the time to do what I love again and take care of pets. I love being interactive with the pets and enjoy spending time with them; whether that be taking them for an adventure or just lounging and cuddling with them. Whatever they like! I make sure to read the instructions given thoroughly and ask questions when I am confused. I know how important our animals mean to us so I make sure to take care of them like my own!
About: I have a very high tolerance and patience with all sizes and breeds. I am okay with cats as well. I’ve trained a couple of my friends animals a few times. And I love just getting out for exercise so would love to look after your fur companion to give him/her some exercise as well :) I was the kid who took in all the animals who were homeless. I am very energetic as well so if you have a very high energy dog don’t you worry!! I’m a student who is looking to get out more, make a bit of pocket money, and have a little fur companion to hang out with during the day. I can't wait to meet your fur babies and companions. I work throughout the week from 9-2pm and sometimes off earlier it depends! I also have a vehicle to commute to your pet. Weekends are open and evenings! If I’m walking your pup I have had clients leave their treats and leash in the area that is visible but it is whatever you are comfortable with, I am very flexible!
“Chloe was amazing with my dog Rex! She was polite, punctual, and kept great communication throughout. I really appreciated the updates she sent during the walk. Rex came home happy and tired, so I know he had a great time. I would definitely recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker.”

About: I have owned animals of all kinds since I was little. I have extensive knowledge and experience in caring for hamsters, guinea pigs, cats and dogs - a high number of them being reactive, specifically. I have 3 years of experience working with another company like Rover, but have over 20+ years of animal care experience. I have walked and provided a safe place for senior dogs, puppies, high energy and reactive pups and adult dogs, special needs dogs (such as tripod dogs, post surgery care), and also provided extended stays on a regular basis. We are located near a large green space and close to many areas with walking paths for lots of outside time and two to three walks a day. I’m a mom to a 14 year old. I work as Rover sitter part-time. Due to this, I cannot take on clients (pets) for house sits that cannot be left alone for no more than 4 hours. I’m currently only accepting house sitting, walks and drop-in requests. I am available for house-sitting overnight 7 days a week. Please let me know if you are comfortable having my 14 year old attend the stay in your house-sitting request. Flexible for meet and greets and trial runs. I offer walks and drop-in’s a few times a week. If you are needing someone to walk, or someone to check in on your pet, please reach out and we can discuss. I am open to walking your pets and can typically accommodate pets in other areas than my own. I am available for drop-in visits most Mondays to Fridays, and occasional Saturday, currently. This is subject to change without notice. I can accommodate up to 2 visits per day, per client, dependent on location and day. A bit of background information on my son: My son volunteered at the Calgary Humane Society weekly, so we spent a lot of time with all kinds of animals. He raised $2,126 and donated it to the Calgary Humane Society in 2023. He has a passion for animals of all kinds and is learning how to better care for all animals, as he would like to be a veterinarian when he is older. We live in a townhouse close to a large open green space where I can take pups to play and walk on leash, as well as many walking paths (when I’m accepting boardings). If you live in another area of the city, you can be confident that I will walk your pup according to your preferences or find new adventures to keep their mind stimulated. I only house sit for one family’s pet(s) at a time. This also goes for walks as well. This is to ensure the safety of all pets when they are in my care, and to be able to focus on the specific individual needs of each pet. Many of my clients have non-reactive doggos, however, a number of my clients are reactive to other animals. For this reason, I cannot provide multiple families walks or house-sitting at the same time (at the moment). During a boarding, in my home there is no need for a crate, unless this is necessary for your pet(s), as I allow animals on the furniture and to sleep and play wherever they are most comfortable. For house sittings, you can ensure that I will care for your pet as per your instructions. This includes feeding, walks, play time, bedtime preferences (such as sleeping in a crate or if allowed to sleep on the bed), etc. I am able to care for pets that have dietary restrictions, need care post surgery or have special needs, (e.g., a tripod pup). For walks and drop-in’s, you can expect that I follow your instructions on how to walk and care for your pet during those times. Including how to access your pet for their walk and meal times. Since there’s only my 14 year old son and I living in our home, you can be confident that your pups have someone to play with, snuggle and give them attention.

🐾 Five Stars for a Fantastic Dog Walker! I can't say enough good things about Marisa. From the very first walk, she showed genuine care, professionalism, and a true love for dogs. My furbaby absolutely adores her and gets excited every time she arrives. She's always punctual, communicative, and goes the extra mile —whether it’s sending cute photo updates or making sure my dog gets plenty of exercise and attention. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is in safe, loving hands. I trust Marisa completely and would recommend her to any pet parent looking for someone reliable, kind, and passionate about animals. 🐶💛

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chestermere choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
