About: Ever since I was a baby I’ve spent my life around animals from small to large, domestic to farm. I have always had a deep compassion for animals. As a child I always wanted to be around and with animals wanting to grow up working with them in any way. I have 5 years of experience working on a dairy farm and have worked at a doggy daycare. In 2023 I got my first puppy as an adult. Since then I have rescued 1, and had 2 rehomed to me as well. In my free time a few days a week I volunteer at the CHS taking dogs out for the day giving them a break from the shelter, showing them what everyday life looks like. Animals are already a huge part of my everyday life, so dog walking fits very naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule with availability every other week from 4:30pm–10:00pm, and on alternating weeks from 7:00am–10:00pm. I enjoy getting out for walks, spending time with dogs, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away or busy. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking to their normal routines, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I understand how important trust, patience, and consistency are when caring for someone else’s pet.

About: I have always had pets as a child and continued to take care of animals throughout my entire lifetime. As a child, I was able to observe how they behaved and interacted with one another, which allowed me to learn their habits, needs, and different personalities, e.g., energetic puppies; timid pets; and elderly pets that require a gentler approach. What distinguishes me from others is my ability to be patient, dependable, and my excellent communication skills, something that I have developed while studying to become a Social Worker. I know how to listen actively and remain calm in stressful situations, as well as being compassionate, all of which greatly contribute to providing safe, reliable, and loving care for animals. I take time to understand each animal's behaviour and routine, as well as any special needs, so they can be comfortable and enjoy being cared for while you are away. My aspiration is to treat each pet as if it were my own and to always create the best possible experience, with little or no stress for the owner or pet. I’ve incorporated my dog-walking services and other services naturally into my schedule. This allows me to walk your pet during the day, visit and/or stay with them while you work or are away. I will always be reliable with regard to timing and communication. I carefully plan my schedule so that I can give every pet that I look after proper exercise and attention on a consistent basis, and I make sure that each pet's daily routine is closely adhered to (this would include feeding, walking, medication, or playtime). Most evenings and weekends are open, and are ideal for long stays or extra visits. Your fur-baby is my top priority when caring for them, I make it my mission to protect your pet and give them the best care they need!
“Olga has been looking after my 1yr old Golden on a daily basis during the work week. She is always enthusiastic about their time together and she has great communication skills. I’m lucky to have her help!”

I live on an acreage with a fenced yard and two friendly Maltese dogs and a dog friendly cat named Nigel. Dogs names are Maggie and Monty.

About: Experienced with large breeds and multi-dog households, including German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, and Great Danes. Whether your dog is a couch cuddler or a 120-pound chaos machine, I’m comfortable handling it all. I’ve cared for dogs for weeks at a time, including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and daily routines, so drop-in visits and regular walks are no problem. I also regularly care for my brother’s German Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable with strong, high-energy dogs and giving them the attention, patience, and care they deserve. As a flight attendant, my schedule gives me flexibility during the week, which makes pet care easy to fit into my routine. On my days off, I have plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, feeding routines, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I’m also very organized and used to managing schedules and routines professionally, so reliability, communication, and punctuality are extremely important to me, both in aviation and in caring for your pets. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always try to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any specific care requests closely while also making sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m experienced with both high-energy dogs and more independent cats, so I adapt to each pet’s personality and comfort level. About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the level of patience, empathy, and genuine connection I build with every animal in my care. I don’t just follow routines, I learn each pet’s personality, comforts, and quirks to make sure they feel safe, seen, and loved. From gentle encouragement for shy companions to playful engagement for energetic ones, I tailor every moment to their needs. I believe the best pet care combines trust, communication, and heartfelt attention, giving owners peace of mind and pets a home-away-from-home experience filled with comfort, joy, and understanding. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routines, respect their space, and make sure they always feel comfortable and secure. I prioritize clean, calm environments and pay close attention to each pet’s cues, needs, and safety, from double checking doors and gates to ensuring they have fresh water, proper feeding, and plenty of affection and enrichment. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have never gone without having one by my side, so looking after them feels completely natural to me. While I was away at university, I even fostered a couple of dogs because I missed having that companionship so much it was incredibly rewarding to give them love and stability while they waited for their forever homes. I’m comfortable with a range of needs, from energetic puppies who benefit from consistent routines and basic training, to senior dogs who need a gentler, more attentive approach. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with every dog I care for as I treat them like my own. Recently, I lost my two dogs, and while I’m not quite ready to bring a new puppy into my home, caring for others’ pets feels like the perfect way to keep sharing that love, attention, and companionship that dogs deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority in my day. I’m currently working part-time with a chiropractic internship from Monday to Thursday, which still leaves me with plenty of time and energy to give your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m available on weekdays after 4pm as well as on weekends, making it easy for me to accommodate walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or overnight care. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. At my place, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and supervised play. There is also one friendly 2-year-old Havanese (my parents’ dog), so I’m mindful of introductions and always make sure all dogs feel comfortable and safe. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to have free roam of the house if preferred. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. My goal is always to create a trustworthy, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Black Diamond choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
