“Arden was absolutely wonderful. She is very prompt with communications and walking appointments. Super friendly and I will definitely be booking her again to walk my dog!”

“Ariana was wonderfully communicative! She did a drop off and pick up for my sweet girl to get to the groomers. I was so appreciative of her and would you use her again in a heartbeat if I were living in Calgary permanently!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a wonderful 3-year-old Golden Retriever who keeps me active and reminds me every day how important love, exercise, and consistency are for our furry friends. Having grown up with dogs my entire life, I understand the care, patience, and attention they need to feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy spending time outdoors, so whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply companionship, they'll receive plenty of exercise and engagement. I pride myself on being caring, compassionate, and dependable. Your dog's well-being is my top priority, and I'll treat them like one of my own while they're in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am off work for the summer, which allows me to dedicate my time fully to caring for your pets. My flexible schedule means I am available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and boarding. Because I am home most of the time, your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care rather than being left alone for long periods. Whether your pup enjoys outdoor adventures, regular walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I can accommodate their needs and routine. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and most holidays, making it easy to provide reliable and consistent care whenever you need it. I live in a clean, comfortable condo that provides a safe and relaxing environment for dogs. While I don't have a yard, I lead a very active lifestyle and make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and outdoor time each day. I take multiple walks daily, including visits to local parks where dogs can enjoy new sights, smells, and opportunities to explore. Your dog will receive lots of attention, companionship, and physical activity throughout the day, ensuring they stay happy, engaged, and well cared for during their stay.
“Olivia was able to walk Lupo everyday I was working at Stampede and adjust to my schedule last minute. She was very good with Lupo and I would 100% love to have her walk Lupo again”

“Sandra is great - and our dog Nelson agrees! We really appreciated Sandra taking the time to meet with us to get to know Nelson’s needs (and ours too!). She has been very attentive to Nelson we feel totally comfortable entrusting our little guy to her care.”

About: Hi! My name is Kyra, and I am a DVM student going into my second year at UCVM, and I am a certified Veterinary Technician Assistant. I am confident with classical and operant conditioning for training animals, animal husbandry and safe restraint methods. I look forward to providing attentive and specialized care for your pets. My pets include a tuxedo cat and a corn snake. I am currently off from university and looking to keep my animal-handling skills up to date. I am available every day from 9 am - 7 pm for whatever your needs may be! I love to play with both dogs and cats, if they are up to it! If your pet has lower activity levels, I am glad to keep them company and give them lots of cuddles. I am currently harness-training my own cat to help him feel more comfortable being outside and work up to exploring together. So far, he has explored my front yard and some of my neighbours' as well. If you are working on training your pet, I would be stoked to help out. I am also comfortable working with any pets who are fearful, and I am confident I can provide a positive experience for them.

“Paige is the sweetest and most consistent dog walker I've had. She always shows up rain or shine and is so gentle and patient with my 15 year old dog. I never worry about Tesla getting her medicine properly. Highly recommend this dog walker!”

“Katie is an absolutely wonderful dog walker. She comes weekly to walk Beau, and we are grateful to have her. Beau can be leash reactive, and Katie took the time to learn our training methods and implement them. You can also tell that she cares about Beau's comfort. She arrives promptly for each walk, communicates important details after the walk, and is a pleasure to work with. Thank you Katie for all that you do!”

“Madison and Corey are reliable and communicate very well and quickly to any questions/change in plans. My two boys are always happy to go with them so I highly recommend!”

“Josie really helped our family with letting Lemi out for walks for the week. She communicates very well and does what she says she is going to do. It’s such peace of mind while at work to receive Josie’s Rover cards to show that Lemi is in good hands and having a bit of fun throughout the day. Than you Josie!! We really appreciated your help!!”

Josie was wonderful with my dog Benji. I am new to the city and new to leaving my dog at home. She eased every anxiety I had by communicating with me and sending lots of photos so I knew he had a great time. Would recommend her to anyone and especially people who are new and need a bit of comfort that their baby is in good hands.

Arden came through on very short notice and was so amazing with our golden retriever Lexi, who’s not always the easiest to walk. Her reports were so detailed and sweet, and it really made me feel so good knowing Lexi was in such good hands. Not to mention Lexi absolutely loved her and has made a new best friend. Thank you so much Arden!!

Sandra was amazing with Sofi, took her for good long walks (and took lots of photos!) so she was totally pooped after and ready for a good nap! She was able to kindly fit us into her schedule even with my short notice, and I really appreciate it! I’ll be booking again with her for sure🥰

Caitlin was so caring and a wonderful “new” human companion to my 2 chihuahuas over our multiple days stay in Calgary. She ensured they got lots of attention, time outside walking , and cuddles too (all of which they love!). I always had great and timely feedback from Caitlin about how the walk went and she so easily ensured any updates or requests on my end were met. I won’t hesitate to book with Caitlin again when I’m back in the area. Thank you!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Calgary choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
