We set up a time for her to come by a few days before we left (for 6 days) to meet the cats and show her around the house. She was very relaxed and we could immediately tell that she knew how to approach cats so as not to intimidate or frighten them so they seemed to warm up to her right away. Caitlin came by twice a day while we were gone and sent an update on the cats - how they were eating and behaving - and also send photos of all three each time. “Let me begin by saying I am what some would consider high maintenance, I'm a bit of a control freak and when it came to Sherman the Battle Cat - I had a lot of anxiety leaving him for 6 days due to his age (he's almost 19) and his medical conditions that required medication administration in the AM and PM. This was my first time using Rover, I reached out to Rosie as she had so many exemplary reviews and experience with older precious creatures. Rosie is an Angel, she took such good care of Sherman and sent me consistent and substantial updates every day. She even continued notating his details in his notebook (medication administration, quality of poops, if he threw up, how many meals he'd eaten etc.) I've had Sherman since he was 8 weeks old, he's been through a lot this year and I'm running on borrowed time with him - I couldn't have asked for anything better than Rosie. If he makes it until Christmas, she will be my first (and likely only) choice. When she left, she had cleaned up (including garbages) and left Sherman and I a lovely gift bag with some goodies for both of us. Rosie is dedicated, thoughtful, so very friggin kind and just a lovely human all around. If you want someone who will show your precious creatures the attention and kindness they deserve, look no further than Rosie.”

My husband and I live in a condo and travel often so owning our own dog is almost impossible. We do have two grand puppies who we love spending time with and having stay with us whenever their parents are away.. I retired three years ago from my full-time job and now work casually two or three nights a week. My daytime and weekends are completely free to look after your animals. I am completely mobile and able to stay in your home to look after your pets if you need to be away on vacation. Also able to do some light housekeeping (extra fee) for you while I am in your home. Both my husband and I are complete neat freaks, and your home will be well respected and taken care of while I am there. I do genuinely love animals I would love to have some of our own if we could accommodate them in our condo. We are avid travelers, so the idea of having a dog doesn’t really work out for us. But I am drawn to dogs and I feel they love being around me as well. I’d offer a ton of love and am able to look after both sedentary and highly active pets.

Our dog has always stayed with family and this was the first time that we left him with someone else. Our dog is also on a raw diet, and Haley accommodated this with no problem. Our dog took quiet a liking to Haley and her family, he was in no rush to come home, which is a good sign that he was sincerely well cared for. We are very grateful to Haley that Mercedes experience was such a good one, and she will be the only one Mercedes stays with in the future. We don’t live close to Lake Bonavista, but the distance was worth our fur baby’s happiness!”
