“Merron was excellent with our dog. Our dog has only stayed with family over her seven years. Family was unable to care for our dog so we search via Rover. We located Merron set up the meet and greet. Leaving my dog with someone I don't really know was extremely stressful for me, my dog adjusted better than I did. Merron provided daily pics and texts so I was always informed and provided feedback when she noticed evening sleeping issues. All dogs are family and when someone takes your family member into home she gave my dog all the love and attention she needed. Merron, I would recommend highly if your board your dog with her. About: Just incase you are all wondering after reading my reviews I go by Cole it is my middle name. I grew up on a farm and have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was around 10, mostly bigger dogs like border collies but more recently we got a mini blue healer very high energy named Harley and my Gf has a Pomeranian named Gidget and I also have an older border collie named Blue. I’m a student in flight school at Mountroyal right now I don’t have school as it’s summer but I still have to fly which makes my schedule a bit inconsistent as I can’t choose when I fly but other than that I don’t have any other commitments so I will be able to take care of animals any time I don’t fly (my flight are usually around 4 hours maximum) I recently moved to Calgary and can’t have dogs in my new home. I miss being around them and taking them on walks and to play in the park. I would be willing to do anything your pets need in and around your own home or at near by parks.

It was great knowing Ka Wai was there watching over him. About: Growing up, I've always been surrounded by pets. My mom used to plonk me and Candy, my adorable French Poodle, into the same playpen. Candy wasn't just a pet; she was like my first best buddy. Then came Kina, our sweet Golden Retriever. Even at 10 years old, I took on the job of looking after her – walks, baths, food, the works. When she got older and needed surgeries, I was there for her, giving meds, cleaning wounds, and just showering her with love till the end. After Kina, Waffle came along. She was just a month old when I got her, which made socializing a bit tricky. But Waffle's been a real eye-opener. Through all the training sessions, I've learned that the key to a happy pup is consistency, patience, and loads of love. From Candy to Kina to Waffle, each furry friend has taught me heaps about compassion, responsibility, and being a rock-solid caregiver. They've been my teachers in life's best lessons, and I'm forever grateful for that. Now, alongside Waffle, I've got Mylo, this adorable and playful Westie who hit it off with Waffle right away. It's like having double the fun! And sometimes, I get the chance to look after my best friend's dog, Nala. Let me tell you, having three dogs around me makes me feel like the luckiest person in the world. It's a whole pack of love and joy, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Every time I take care of a pet, my heart just swells with love for them. It's like the more I give, the more I have to give. So, right now, I'd love to extend that care to your furry ones too. With my remote job, I have the flexibility to control my own schedule, which means I can easily make time to play, go for walks, and shower love on my furry friends. When possible, I like to meet dogs outside first so they can interact in a neutral environment with my own dog. We start with a short 5–10 minute walk together, which helps the dogs get comfortable, recognize each other as part of the same group, and build trust in a relaxed way. Once at home, I closely supervise the dogs while allowing them freedom to move around the house so they feel comfortable and at ease. I pay close attention to their body language, energy levels, and needs, making sure they feel safe, secure, and cared for at all times.

About: I have had large and small dogs in my life. Centrally located with a few parks by my house. I have experience with different harness, coats, putting boots and socks on. Happy to do it all so your dog is comfortable. I’ve moving from another province, and therefore have all the time to make this my number one priority. I do not have another employment at the moment. I do one to two hours of exercise in the morning- my late afternoons to evenings are free to provide help! When I drop by your home I would first ensure all the basic needs are met for your dog, whether you’d prefer if I just stop in for a quick moment while you’re at work, or if you’d like me ensure they get groomed. I will respect all boundaries put into place from the pet owner and never overstep. At the moment I am not offering boarding services.

I’m happy to have your pup on weekdays and weekends for daycare or sleepovers. Our home is set up for furry friends! I have a friendly resident dog, Hank, who loves having a friend to hang with. I allow dogs on the couch and have lots of comfy beds for them to sleep in too. Hank is a free range pup and has full access to the house when we are out and I’m happy to let your pup do the same. If a crate makes your furry friends feel safer, we have a nice one that can easily be set up for them. Our yard is perfect for sun bathing, or getting some zoomies out. You can rest assured your pup will be safe as it’s fully fenced. The cameras we have in the yard often pick up some silly moments! I will be glad to provide updates and photos throughout your pups visit so you know what they’re up to.

About: I’m a very fit and active 60-year-old gentleman who loves going out for long walks and would love the company of your pet to join me. My husband and I live in a condo and travel often so owning our own dog is almost impossible. We do have two grand puppies who we love spending time with and having stay with us whenever their parents are away.. I retired three years ago from my full-time job and now work casually two or three nights a week. My daytime and weekends are completely free to look after your animals. I am completely mobile and able to stay in your home to look after your pets if you need to be away on vacation. Also able to do some light housekeeping (extra fee) for you while I am in your home. Both my husband and I are complete neat freaks, and your home will be well respected and taken care of while I am there. I do genuinely love animals I would love to have some of our own if we could accommodate them in our condo. We are avid travelers, so the idea of having a dog doesn’t really work out for us. But I am drawn to dogs and I feel they love being around me as well. I’d offer a ton of love and am able to look after both sedentary and highly active pets.

About: Hello everyone! I grew up on a farm in a small village in Germany, always surrounded by cats and dogs. My Persian cat was with me for 17 years, and since then I’ve cared for a 6-month-old puppy, a senior dog, two cats and rabbits. Each pet has taught me something different, from handling puppy energy to supporting older pets with patience. I recently moved from Edmonton to Calgary, in a much smaller apartment with lots of places to hide properly :-). I’m not ready here for a pet of my own yet, but I enjoy spending time with animals and giving them attention and structure. Your pet matters to me! I want to make sure they have a calm and comfortable experience while their loved one is away. Even though I’m a dog lover, due to the size of my apartment, I only accept smaller dogs. I have a full flexible schedule and am able to work from home 7 days a week. I often go for a run and a daily walk in the river valley, which is around the corner. No house, no yard, but a small apartment with lots of green places around. My apartment is secure, it has lots of spots to hide if your pet needs space.

About: I had my Puggle for almost 16 years. He taught me how important loving an animal is. I will give the best care and energy needed to fill your fur baby's bowl. Currently I'm very flexible with my availability. I will be out of town for short amounts of time throughout the summer but open to finding what can work best for the pets and owners I keep a close eye on behaviour and love to incorporate engaging play time. I am happy to let the doggies sniff as much as they want on their walks. And of course, if the pet enjoys rubs, pats and cuddles, I'm happy to oblige there too! :)
