“My little Daisy had a fabulous stay with Frankie & Arthur. Since Daisy is only 4.5 months old they had to go the extra mile with her and they really did! Frankie kept me updated every day and gave the best possible love and care to our pup. I'm pretty sure that Daisy didn't want to come home! I'll definitely try to book Frankie for my next trip.”

“My dog had a wonderful time and was well cared for. I really appreciated the photos and videos that were sent every day and loved knowing that my dog was staying in a warm family home.”

“They took such good care of our puppy , Aapa and frequently shared updates and videos/ pics throughout the day. We felt really comfortable with their prompt communication, appreciated the thorough questions they asked prior to the boarding and their genuine care for our pup. 10/10.”

“Smokey had a wonderful week with Sara while we were away on vacation. She took such good care of him, taking him for frequent walks, playing fetch with him, and hanging out with him in the backyard. She provided us with updates and photos multiple times a day and he always had a big smile on his face. Thanks Sara for taking such good care of our boy.”

“Suzanne was fantastic with Bud! From the start, she was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She has a calm, positive energy, and I could tell Bud was comfortable, and settled in by the photos she sent. He came home happy and exhausted after three days of being with Suzanne which, as a dog owner, is about the best outcome you can ask for. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Suzanne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care for their dog.”

“Bethnie and Bikram were excellent pet sitters for Ole. Great communication, lots of pictures, many walks and updates. Would highly recommend Will be using them again. Thank you!”

“Tracey & Richard provided the most incredible care for my daughter’s puppy, Mr. Banks. From the moment he arrived, it was clear how much love for animals fills their home. They made Banks feel completely welcomed and adored in his new surroundings. He had the best time playing with other dogs, going on daily walks, and enjoying so much affection. What meant the most to us was knowing he was cuddled, comforted, and made to feel safe every single day. You can truly feel the warmth and kindness they extend to every animal in their care. We also so appreciated the daily pictures Tracey sent — seeing Banks having so much fun gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We will absolutely use Tracey & Richard again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for loving, attentive, and trustworthy dog sitters. Mr. Banks can’t wait to go back! 🐾💛”

“I had a wonderful experience with Allen and Darrell! They were incredibly responsive and kept me updated throughout Pico’s stay with lots of photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Pico was well cared for and receiving plenty of attention and affection. They were also very flexible with pickup arrangements, which I really appreciated. When I picked Pico up, he was happy and all tuckered out from his walks. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, reliable pet sitters.”

“Natasha took amazing care of our anxious pup. She was very in tune with his nervousness to be away from us and offered him lots of care and nurturing. She was very good at communicating and letting us know how he was doing. We were able to enjoy our mini-vacation because we knew our dog was being well taken care of.”

“I can't express enough how amazing Tia was with Maya and Klonkie. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Tia arranged a call prior to their booking to ensure all their requirements were noted prior & showed a genuine love for dogs, which was evident in how well Maya and Klonkie were cared for. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos that put my mind at ease while I was away. It was evident that Maya and Klonkie were comfortable and happy. Maya and Klonkie came back home in great spirits and it was clear that they had a fantastic time during their stay. I would highly recommend Tia to anyone looking for reliable and loving care for their furry family members. It's reassuring to know that such a responsible and caring person is available to look after our pets. I'll definitely be reaching out for future bookings. Five stars all the way!”

Taylor took such great care of Sophie during her weekend stay! She sent several updates and photos throughout the weekend, which gave me so much peace of mind. She has such a calm, caring demeanour and is clearly wonderful with animals. Sophie was in such good hands, and I couldn’t recommend Taylor enough!

Megan was so excellent with my dog Nala! She made so much progress with her fear of walking. She’s a new rescue about 2 months, somehow Megan worked her magic and since Nala got home she’s been able to go on much further walks. I’m thrilled and appreciate what she was able to do for my dog in just a 24 hour stay!

Bri did an amazing job looking after my 5-month-old puppy, Teva, for several days. She was very understanding about the puppy behaviours and energy levels, and she helped reinforce some training that we are working on. Bri was great at introducing Teva to her own pets, and it was a great opportunity for Teva to spend time around other dogs. I would definitely recommend Bri to anyone needing a trustworthy sitter!

I can’t say enough good things about the care Kennedy and her boyfriend provided to our senior German shepherd Kodi who has mobility issues and needs meds. Lots of updates, videos and photos. She gave him stimulating games and took him for lots of short sniff walks. Highly recommend her services and will definitely book her again. Thank you Kennedy 😊
Waylon had such a great time with Shelly! He got along so well with Shelly's dog as well as the other dogs she was taking care of. You can tell he had plenty of fun and was well loved during his stay. Shelly was easy to communicate with and we appreciated her updates. We wouldn't hesitate booking another stay with Shelly!

This is Nauk's 3rd stay with Barbara. Everytime i've dropped Nauk off, he's always so happy to see her. Wags his tail and goes up to her so willingly. Barbara takes such good care of him and I'm so very thankful to have someone trustworthy to leave my baby with. I'll be looking to book again for Dec 2026 and March 2027! Thanks Barbara! 🫶🏼

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
