“Mariel and Bram went above and beyond to take care of our puppy while we were gone! We knew that he was having a great time through all of the updates and photos Mariel and Bram sent us each day of our Winnie's stay! Communication was amazing and the next time we need boarding, Mariel and Bram will be our first choice!”

“Hongxiang provided such a great home for our two dogs, they came home really happy and seemed to have had such a great time. She sent us regular videos and pictures, was available for questions and really took care of them including administering medication for our older dog. Would 100% recommend.”

“Jeongah and her partner took such great care of my dog Walter. He is a large dog who can occasionally be reactive, but they handled him so well. They made sure to take him out regularly and sent me regular updates. I’ll be using them again and highly recommend!”

“We’re extremely happy with how everything went. Even though it was just a short trip, they put in a lot of effort. It was clear to us that they truly love dogs and have plenty of experience. They were very communicative throughout, sending regular updates and lots of great pictures. Five out of five stars for sure!”

“Camille was absolutely phenomenal with Sully! I had complete peace of mind the entire time knowing he was in her care. She sent great updates throughout, which made being away so much easier. “Tracy and her husband took such great care of our dog, Snowy while we were on vacation and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. We were always updated on his day and Tracy shared photos throughout his stay. Book your dog’s next stay with them, you won’t have to worry and won’t disappointed!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Allen and Darrell! They were incredibly responsive and kept me updated throughout Pico’s stay with lots of photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Pico was well cared for and receiving plenty of attention and affection. They were also very flexible with pickup arrangements, which I really appreciated. When I picked Pico up, he was happy and all tuckered out from his walks. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, reliable pet sitters.”

“France was incredible! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog for 5 days with her and Hank. She sent me daily updates with pictures included, she was flexible with timings and so patient. Hank was such a great dog and I’m so glad he was there for my dog. Hav already discussed with France on the next time I’ll need her services!”

“Adam and Gordon went above and beyond for my English bulldog Bato. I feel very lucky Bato was with them and their dogs. I would trust Adam and Gordon again 100% with Bato.”

“Hannah was a great handler for my energetic GSP. I also liked that she had so many questions during the meet and greet - it showed that she was committed to making him as comfortable as possible. She was also accommodating picking up and dropping off Trigger. Would highly recommend!”

“Suzanne was fantastic with Bud! From the start, she was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She has a calm, positive energy, and I could tell Bud was comfortable, and settled in by the photos she sent. He came home happy and exhausted after three days of being with Suzanne which, as a dog owner, is about the best outcome you can ask for. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Suzanne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care for their dog.”

About: I have years of experience fostering dogs and cats, as well as extensive small animal care experience, particularly with rabbits. I've trained and socialized puppies and dogs to prepare them for adoption, and I’m very comfortable giving medications to senior pets or those with health conditions. We have a senior dog in our home (Mira) who is gentle, low-energy, and spoiled in the best way. Every pet deserves kindness, patience, and loving care, and I treat each furry guest as if they were my own. I also enjoy taking portraits of your gorgeous babies, so you can expect to receive a few when your furry family member stays with me! I work from home and my shifts typically start in the early morning and run until early afternoon. I can take a break every 2 hours to meet your pet's needs, and they're welcome to hang out as I work or even snooze in my lap. We have a fenced yard, a gentle senior dog for companionship, and I am happy to follow owner guidance in terms of crate training, walks, sleeping arrangements, etc. Safety and comfort are the number one priority. Although my dog is very gentle and accommodating, reactive dogs or those with very rough play-styles would not be the best fit for us at this time.

Tracy and her husband provided great care for PIP while we were away for five days. We were able to see Pip in pictures that Tracy provided every day which was very reassuring. When Pip got home, she seemed comfortable, happy, and energetic. Thank you, Tracy, for providing her with a secure place to stay during our holiday!

Deanna is amazing! We feel completely confident knowing our dog is in such great hands with her. She gives him lots of love, takes him on plenty of walks and adventures, and keeps us updated with lots of photos and videos. It’s clear how much she cares, and we couldn’t recommend her more!

I had my plans for care for Gotham fall through just a week before my vacation . Thankfully Veronica was very accommodating and stepped up to help on short notice . She and Palme were a great fit for my boy , he was very happy to go with them when we parted and was obviously well loved and taken care of while I was away . Highly recommend Veronica ! Thankyou

Jeongah & Hun are truly amazing. They gave our sweet girl love, care & attention as we would have. Seriously I mean just as if she was home with us. She’s a needy anxious girl. They however saw to her every need, giving of their time, playing with her, cuddling her, so she was not lonely for her family. Even applying the suggestions we gave to make sure she ate & have walks often so she stayed healthy. She responded to them so well because she sensed truly people who cared & had loads of love to give. The many updates of pictures, videos & words of the many & funny things she was doing gave us such reassurance. We couldn’t be more grateful & would not hesitate to book with them again. We very highly recommend this couple to care for your pet. Very truly Amazing.

Barbara was amazing!! She asked great questions to make sure our dog got the right care, she sent photos, and even took our dog on an adventure! It was clear she was taking very good care of her while we were away, and that our dog felt very comfortable with her by the end of the stay. We will definitely be asking Barbara to watch our pet in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
