We’re lifelong animal lovers in Marda Loop, Calgary. After saying goodbye to our beloved senior pup in early 2024, we’re excited to welcome your dog into our home with plenty of love and attention. Comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and energy levels.

My dog Deko stayed with Scott and Carly for a week this summer, and was so happy with his stay. He was treated like a prince, taken for long walks, snuggles on the couch, visits to coffee shops, and lots of love and care. They kept us up to date on how he was doing and we felt very comfortable with Deko staying with them. They were also able to manage his medication and helped keep him calm during a thunderstorm. Overall we would highly recommend Scott and Carly and Deko is looking forward to his next stay!

We have used Scott & Carly for daycare several times and, more recently, for an overnight stay with our pup. Every experience has been excellent. They are incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times. Communication is fantastic, they always respond quickly to messages and keep us updated with photos throughout our dog's stay, which we really appreciate. One thing we especially value is that they only care for one family's dog at a time, and someone is always home with our pup. It gives us lots of peace of mind knowing our dog receives so much attention and care. Their home is calm, clean, and very dog friendly, creating a safe and relaxing environment. Our dog is always happy & never seems stressed at drop off or pickup, which speaks volumes about the care they provide. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful, safe, and caring place for our dog to stay. Scott & Carly genuinely care about our pup, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dog care.

Our Frenchie, Ruby was right at home with Scott and Carly. Ruby was even willing to try new things like a snuggle blanket! Amazing that our senior bulldog could learn new tricks. Scott was very quick and consistent with communication and was open to a meet and greet which made the whole experience easier for Ruby (and us).

Schedule
We are very flexible due to Scott’s schedule working from home and with no children or other pets in the house. If you let us know the routine that your dog normally follows we will ensure it gets replicated during their stay with us.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced back yard as well as being a short walk from River Park which is one of the most popular dog parks in the city. If you’d prefer we keep your dog on leash, we have a great neighborhood to provide a varied experience on each walk. We are used to having a dog that is not crate trained, but we are happy to accommodate either way.
A typical day
We miss having a dog to get us outside—especially in nice weather! We’re just two blocks from one of Calgary’s best off-leash parks and have plenty of nearby on-leash walking routes for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. When it’s time to relax, your pup can unwind on our cozy main floor, in the basement with us, or outside on the backyard patio.

- Please let us know of any medical conditions ahead of time. Because of our proximity to River Park, we like to take our guests for off-leash walks so they can burn off energy and socialize, but if your dog is not used to being off-leash, please let us know so we can ensure we take them on alternative walks that keep them on-leash.
