Work-from-home former dog mom
After saying goodbye to my dog of 11 years in August 2025, I am looking to share my home and heart with your pup(s) while you are out of town or otherwise unavailable. I am a single, self-employed woman who works from my home office. In addition to having been a pet parent for 11 years, I have travelled all over the world petsitting for others. I have a quiet, 2-level townhome with a small front yard in a neighbourhood with plenty of walking areas and a terrific fully-fenced off-leash park. Your pup(s) will get at least 2 walks a day and plenty of interaction with me while at home. I have experience administering medications (oral, topical and injected) and also have extensive experience managing pet seizures and diabetes. I have a pet-friendly vehicle for easy access to adventures further from home as well as any necessary trips to veterinarians, groomers, doggy daycares and other pet service providers.

Rebecca is truly the best dog sitter! She is the only person I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog, Zeus, with. I never have to worry when he’s in her care because I know he is getting the same love, attention, and care that I would give him myself. The best part is, Zeus absolutely loves being with Rebecca! He gets so excited to see her and is always happy and comfortable in her care. It’s such a relief knowing that not only is he safe and well cared for, but he genuinely enjoys his time with her and feels at home. Rebecca has such a genuine love for animals and treats every pet as if they were her own. She is incredibly compassionate, attentive, responsible, and trustworthy. What really sets her apart is her experience when it comes to caring for dogs with special needs. She is experienced in managing and administering multiple medications and medical treatments, which gives me tremendous peace of mind knowing Zeus is in such capable hands. She goes above and beyond to make sure the animals in her care are happy, comfortable, safe, and well looked after. I can’t recommend Rebecca highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family and provide truly exceptional care, Rebecca is absolutely the person you want!

Schedule
I am self-employed and work from home exclusively. Every morning starts with a 30-45 minute walk around the neighbourhood, with another shorter walk midday and another longer walk or dog park visit in the evening. Longer walks can be accommodated as necessary. Weekends often include hikes and other dog-friendly outdoor adventures when appropriate.

My home is fully dog safe and my yard is fully fenced. Pets are allowed on furniture and I also have a large kennel if your pup feels safer in a more confined space.
