About: Hi, I’m Mollie! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently work in a veterinary clinic, which has given me experience handling pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and needing a little extra care, or simply happiest sticking to their normal routine, I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. I’m comfortable administering basic medications, monitoring for changes in behavior or health, and following detailed care instructions. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and farm animals, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are in good hands. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I’d love the opportunity to meet them and help keep their routine as stress-free as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work full-time at a veterinary clinic and am available for pet care before and after work, as well as evenings and weekends. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s routine and will do my best to provide reliable, consistent care that fits their needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, feeding, medication, or some extra attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow all instructions carefully, maintain their normal routine, and ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m comfortable administering medications when needed and will provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Cora was amazing! She was available very last minute, was on time, provided tons of photos and updates, and was very patient with our high energy foster dog. She even left our house cleaner than when she got here. We would highly recommend Cora!”

“Micahl was one of the best sitters we have ever had. The dogs loved him and he treated them so well. He was extremely responsive while we were away and provided updates about how the fur babies were doing. He was such a pleasure to deal with. I absolutely recommend having him support your furry family members!”

“All the animals were well taken care of & stress free. Ashton was very good to them & was attentative to what the animals were up to & where they were. Ashton was also very respectful of our house & went beyond what we expected.”

“We have used Dale and Lauren for dog walking and house sitting, they have a natural way with dogs and do a great job getting your fur baby relaxed in their company. They ask lots of great questions to understand your dogs needs and whether they have any special requirements ie medication etc. We’ve booked them again for our next trip at the end of the year. Highly recommend!”

“Dionne was excellent with our girls ❤️ I was able to relax while away knowing they were in such great care. Dogs were happy when we got home, house looked great. Will definitely be reaching out for care again in the future!”

“Andrea was so wonderful with William. She is great at sending pictures and letting us know how things are going. She was very flexible and patient with our schedule. We are so very impressed, we highly recommend her, and will definitely be using her again.”

“Ollie was THRILLED to have Stacey and her sidekick Fred spend time with him again. He walked, practiced tricks, wrestled, indulged in doggy treats, tried new doggy toys, fetched, got lots of snuggles, grooming and rest! Stacey went out of her way to accommodate our last minute request for help and we were so grateful. I don’t think Ollie even missed us! She updated in regularly with pictures and highlights from their adventures together. Stacey has become our “go-to”dog & house sitter.”

“Sara helped out last minute and was super accommodating to take care of our Annie! The house was spotless when she left as well. Very grateful for services and we would love to have her back.”

“Lucie was great with my dogs, they can be a handful, so it was nice to have someone come and stay in my home with them. She sent photos and updates throughout the weekend. And I came home to happy dogs and a clean house!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I started going door to door in my neighbourhood offering dog walking when I was around 7 years old, and I’ve always loved spending time with animals. I’ve had many different dogs over the years, including a Yorkie Shih Tzu, Vizsla, Border Collie, Chocolate Lab, Pitbull Lab mix, Golden Retriever, and a mixed breed, so I’ve gotten to experience lots of different sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve spent lots of time training my own dogs, practicing tricks, leash manners, recall, and basic commands. I’ve also helped with grooming, brushing, bathing, nail care, and just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Growing up, I was always the person my neighbours trusted to watch their dogs while they were away. I’ve always had a natural connection with dogs and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and what makes them happy. My schedule is pretty much always open. I’m free mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Whether you need someone last minute, a quick walk, or someone to hang out with your dog while you’re gone, I’m happy to help. I’ve had dogs my whole life, so I know they’re family. I’ll make sure your dog gets lots of love, attention, playtime, fresh water, and of course treats (if allowed 😊). If I’m in your home, I’ll always clean up after myself and leave it cleaner than when I got there. I live on an acreage with a big fenced yard, so there’s lots of room to run and play. I also have a long leash outside for dogs that like a little more freedom but still need to stay on a leash. I have two dogs of my own—Pepper (3) and Jaxson (11). They’re both super sweet, but if your dog isn’t good with other dogs, that’s totally okay. Mine can stay downstairs while your pup has the upstairs all to themselves. My house is non-smoking, and I have extra toys, bowls, and lots of dr treats. I honestly just love dogs and would love to hang out with yours. :)
“Mehak was wonderful dogsitter for our 17 year old Heidi! Mehak was great with her, taking her for several walks each day, as well as playing and just chilling with her. She sent us daily updates with photos over the 10 days she took care of Heidi. Mehak was also very respectful of our home, bringing her own food, cleaning up, and leaving the house spotless. Wish she wasn't moving, otherwise we would have zero reservation about using Meehak again!”

“Selena was fantastic with Ozzy! Tending to his regular routine for the day and sending updates and pictures and videos. Ozzy and I are so thankful to have found you! Thank you Selena!”

“Gabriella was available on short notice very prompt in responding to our request. It was our first time leaving our dog with someone and we were traveling overseas, so we were a bit nervous. It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Didsbury maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Garbage & recycling: Taking garbage bins to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Didsbury walking routes, the location of your favourite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Didsbury choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitters’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity check, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.
If you have security cameras or doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 92% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
