Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and needing a little extra care, or simply happiest sticking to their normal routine, I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. I’m comfortable administering basic medications, monitoring for changes in behavior or health, and following detailed care instructions. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and farm animals, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are in good hands. I am punctual, professional, and patient, making sure your pet and I connect well is important to me to give them the best experience. I am comfortable using medication and administering other various medications to your pet, as it’s been second hand nature to me with the animals I’ve owned and cared for. I’ve owned dogs my whole life including breeds such as, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Great Pyreneese, Coonhound, Chihuahua, Yorkie, Jack Russell Terrier, Great Dane, and English Mastiff. Ive also owned various cat breeds of all ages and sizes. I’ve animals sat/house sat for multiple family members, friends, and clients so I have experience caring for all sizes and temperaments. Growing up on a ranch I also have experience with Equine, and all other farm animals. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I started going door to door in my neighbourhood offering dog walking when I was around 7 years old, and I’ve always loved spending time with animals. I’ve had many different dogs over the years, including a Yorkie Shih Tzu, Vizsla, Border Collie, Chocolate Lab, Pitbull Lab mix, Golden Retriever, and a mixed breed, so I’ve gotten to experience lots of different sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve spent lots of time training my own dogs, practicing tricks, leash manners, recall, and basic commands. I’ve also helped with grooming, brushing, bathing, nail care, and just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Growing up, I was always the person my neighbours trusted to watch their dogs while they were away. I’ve always had a natural connection with dogs and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and what makes them happy. My schedule is pretty much always open. I’m free mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Whether you need someone last minute, a quick walk, or someone to hang out with your dog while you’re gone, I’m happy to help. I’ve had dogs my whole life, so I know they’re family. I’ll make sure your dog gets lots of love, attention, playtime, fresh water, and of course treats (if allowed 😊). If I’m in your home, I’ll always clean up after myself and leave it cleaner than when I got there. I live on an acreage with a big fenced yard, so there’s lots of room to run and play. I also have a long leash outside for dogs that like a little more freedom but still need to stay on a leash. I have two dogs of my own—Pepper (3) and Jaxson (11). They’re both super sweet, but if your dog isn’t good with other dogs, that’s totally okay. Mine can stay downstairs while your pup has the upstairs all to themselves. My house is non-smoking, and I have extra toys, bowls, and lots of dr treats. I honestly just love dogs and would love to hang out with yours. :)

“Mehak was wonderful dogsitter for our 17 year old Heidi! Mehak was great with her, taking her for several walks each day, as well as playing and just chilling with her. She sent us daily updates with photos over the 10 days she took care of Heidi. Mehak was also very respectful of our home, bringing her own food, cleaning up, and leaving the house spotless. Wish she wasn't moving, otherwise we would have zero reservation about using Meehak again!”

I have five years of experience volunteering at AARCS animal shelter with dogs of all shapes and sizes. At the animal shelter I feed walk and cuddle with some less fortunate dogs.
