“Penny was fantastic. We did a meet and greet with her first so we could get comfortable with leaving our dog there and she could get to know us and our dog. This made us feel a lot more comfortable since she vets each dog that stays with her. When we arrived, she had the other dogs wait in the yard so our dog wouldn't be overwhelmed right away. During our dogs stay she sent us multiple pictures and videos throughout each day and responded quickly whenever I texted to check in. When it was the day of pickup she texted and asked for an ETA so she could be prepared and have everything ready for us in advance. Our dog Marlow had a great stay and even slept for a few days after staying with Penny and playing with the other dogs that were staying. It was a great experience. Thanks Penny!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover! Throughout my life I’ve had dogs, cat, horses, birds and guinea pigs as pets! At the present moment I live with two cats, and because of them I’ve learned a lot about how to take care of animals, including medication if needed. I love my cats, and even though they are very playful, I miss spending time with a dog, because they are so much fun to be around and play with! Spending quality time with my pets has always been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I believe it to be important for them too. Throughout my pet experience I’ve to give oral medication and subcutaneous fluids, tend to stitches, groom, clip nails and bathe.

About: Like many others, I have been blessed with having the ability to care for animals throughout my life. In 2015, I had the wonderful opportunity to follow my passion professionally. I began working in a veterinarian clinic as a receptionist, technician assistant and external boarding for cats. After the adoption of our beloved Trixie in 2018, my focus shifted to behavior training while continuing care within the small animal medical atmosphere. Recently, I became certified as a professional pet dog trainer and specialized in aggression/reactivity/seperation anxiety. I continue my education through conferences/mentor sessions and am working towards becoming CCPDT certified. I am also an enrichment scent work instructor. I also have my Canine First Aid certification. If you are looking for someone to care for your companion, and would like to add any of the services that are mentioned above during their time with me (or at another time), I would love to get to know you and your companion. I am currently a stay at home mom and provide individualized training consultations as well as general pet care during early mornings and evenings during the week (including weekends). About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I started going door to door in my neighbourhood offering dog walking when I was around 7 years old, and I’ve always loved spending time with animals. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. My first pup was a recuse from a puppy mill and we loved her for 16 years. When i was a young adult, i recused a stray tabby who sadly just past away at the ripe age of 21. We then just rescued another cat named Budweiser (not our choice but love it 😂) Now, my family and i have just finished loving our mini golden doodle in her 13th year and our hearts are missing that puppy presence. We are also a rescue foster dog family and love taking in the ones who need love the most. I have also volunteered in Nunavut at the animal rescue shelter and loved every minute of it. About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work full time in the city and I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I’m very good with early mornings and late night visits. I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.
About: I've grown up around pets, and have experience with dogs, cats, horses, a lizard and fish, from all stages of life. I currently help my family care for four dogs, two cats, and three horses. Two of the dogs have issues with their hind legs, giving me experience with animals that have specific mobility needs. I'm also able to take care of dogs of all sizes, having grown up with small, medium, and large dogs. I currently pet sit casually for a friend, taking care of cats and dogs with differing needs (i.e. diet and the ability to go outside). My retired parents love having dogs around and are home throughout the day, so your dog has plenty of company, care, and attention. Your pup is rarely left alone. We know every dog is different, so we take the time to learn their routine, personality, and what helps them feel comfortable. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, relaxed and at home while you’re away. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve wracking. I’m always happy to do a meet & greet before the first stay. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. My parents are both retired and genuinely love having dogs around the house. Between my parents and me, there’s almost always someone home, so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day. We also only take a small number of dogs at a time because we want each one to get plenty of attention and feel comfortable here, not just be one of many. We have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play, along with plenty of cozy spots inside. We also back onto a park, so walks are easy and there’s always something new to explore.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds ever since I was a child. I have always had a passion for animals and have never lived in a home without them. Friends, families, neighbours, and colleagues have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and brush their furry loved ones. This made us feel a lot more comfortable since she vets each dog that stays with her. When we arrived, she had the other dogs wait in the yard so our dog wouldn't be overwhelmed right away. During our dogs stay she sent us multiple pictures and videos throughout each day and responded quickly whenever I texted to check in. When it was the day of pickup she texted and asked for an ETA so she could be prepared and have everything ready for us in advance. About: I’ve always been an animal lover! Throughout my life I’ve had dogs, cat, horses, birds and guinea pigs as pets! At the present moment I live with two cats, and because of them I’ve learned a lot about how to take care of animals, including medication if needed. I love my cats, and even though they are very playful, I miss spending time with a dog, because they are so much fun to be around and play with! Spending quality time with my pets has always been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I believe it to be important for them too. Throughout my pet experience I’ve to give oral medication and subcutaneous fluids, tend to stitches, groom, clip nails and bathe.

About: Like many others, I have been blessed with having the ability to care for animals throughout my life. In 2015, I had the wonderful opportunity to follow my passion professionally. I began working in a veterinarian clinic as a receptionist, technician assistant and external boarding for cats. After the adoption of our beloved Trixie in 2018, my focus shifted to behavior training while continuing care within the small animal medical atmosphere. Recently, I became certified as a professional pet dog trainer and specialized in aggression/reactivity/seperation anxiety. I continue my education through conferences/mentor sessions and am working towards becoming CCPDT certified. I am also an enrichment scent work instructor. I also have my Canine First Aid certification. If you are looking for someone to care for your companion, and would like to add any of the services that are mentioned above during their time with me (or at another time), I would love to get to know you and your companion. I am currently a stay at home mom and provide individualized training consultations as well as general pet care during early mornings and evenings during the week (including weekends). I offer limited care (1 or 2 dogs at a time) in my own home during the day if need be. My only requirements are that your companion not have prey drive (I do have cats and young children) and are good with another female adult dog. I have a large fenced in yard, and can accommodate your specific instructions/requirements as much as possible. Your companion will always be supervised and never left unattended.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I started going door to door in my neighbourhood offering dog walking when I was around 7 years old, and I’ve always loved spending time with animals. I’m free mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Whether you need someone last minute, a quick walk, or someone to hang out with your dog while you’re gone, I’m happy to help. I’ve had dogs my whole life, so I know they’re family. I’ll make sure your dog gets lots of love, attention, playtime, fresh water, and of course treats (if allowed 😊). If I’m in your home, I’ll always clean up after myself and leave it cleaner than when I got there. I live on an acreage with a big fenced yard, so there’s lots of room to run and play. I also have a long leash outside for dogs that like a little more freedom but still need to stay on a leash. I have two dogs of my own—Pepper (3) and Jaxson (11). They’re both super sweet, but if your dog isn’t good with other dogs, that’s totally okay. Mine can stay downstairs while your pup has the upstairs all to themselves. About: Have done a lot of fostering for an animal rescue so comfortable with a large variety of breeds. We enjoy getting out so your dogs won’t be bored. I work in a school so I am off on weekends, all major holidays and all summer. But love daily walks and my schedule is very accommodating. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs. We do have cats in the home but they don’t care about other pets. Non smoking home.
