Pet care experience
Loving care for big and small
I have grown up with animals, including having my own rabbit since I was 4 years old. I started house sitting in my pre-teens for friends and classified ads in the paper (I know, right haha). I have also volunteered with a dog rescue. My experience includes dogs (I'm particularly fond of big dogs), cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. I have taken dog classes, such as obedience and puppy training, as well as Dr Ian Dunbar's dog training online classes, and a trauma-informed approach to dog training to better work with what gets labelled as a "reactive" dog. I am well-versed in animal body language to watch for their comfort cues and keep everyone safe, by avoiding a "reaction". I have administered medicine to various types of animals, including needle injections for my senior dog. I love learning new animal facts.

Danielle was so sweet and fantastic. Considering Chance is 150lbs, I have been nervous about anyone walking him but me, but she did so well and I felt at peace knowing he was taken care of during my really long days. Will absolutely be rebooking with her whenever I need someone to walk him.

Danielle is an absolute delight and I am SO glad we found her on rover. Our dog is really passive and shy so we set up a meeting before hand knowing she might be skittish. We were doing a stay cation close by but had we not been we have no doubt that if anyone could break through our shy girls demeanour it would have been Danielle. We popped back home on the second day just so our pupper knew we still existed and after that point she was a changed lady with Danielle. The updates and attention and care she gave our animals was incredible. Our cats are pretty easy, the one is actually annoying with how much he loves people, but our dog is so reserved that we were really worried about how this would go, but with the communication and time spent Danielle was a gem and we couldn’t have selected better.
Love when Danielle takes my 2 big girls for a walk! They both have different walk styles and temperaments and she can handle them both! They come back super tired - just what they need!
Danielle is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all things dogs! She is so responsible, kind and caring to all fur babies! Having Danielle care for your fur babies is a no brainer !

Schedule
I'm building my pet care business. My availability can be flexible and I'm willing to discuss your pets needs. I'm available mostly during the day, Monday through Friday, and can accommodate some evenings and weekends.
