About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through dog walking, overnight stays, and pet sitting. One of the first puppies I ever pet sat for is a dog I still care for years later, which has allowed me to build a strong relationship with both the dog and owner over time. Last summer, I started doing overnight stays for two dogs and gained experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, companionship, and keeping dogs comfortable in their home environment while their owners are away. What sets me apart is that I genuinely love spending time with animals and always try to make dogs feel safe, cared for, and treated like family. I’m patient, reliable, attentive, and understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits well into my schedule alongside my two part-time jobs. I work at a golf course in Bragg Creek and also do housekeeping and laundry at a hotel in Cochrane. My shifts vary, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I’m good at planning my schedule ahead of time to make sure pets get the attention, care, and consistency they need while their owners are away. I currently provide pet care in my client’s home, where pets are usually most comfortable and able to stay in their normal routine and environment. At this time, I’m unable to offer boarding in my own home, as the people I’m currently staying with do not allow pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible through feeding schedules, walks, playtime, companionship, and overnight care when needed. I always try to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment and treat both the pets and the home with respect and care.

About: My pet care experience started 10 years ago - my dad took me to his best friends house and they told me their dog loved going on adventures but they weren’t able to get out much. From there I started pickup him up for walks and hikes, and eventually I ended up pet sitting a bunch of different times. My favourite memory was when he hopped the fence and ran next door and waited for me at the basement suite door because he knew I was cleaning it. We became inseparable! Eventually I got my own dog, became friends with a dog trainer and have spent so many hours working and learning as much as I can about dogs. My kiddo is a little older and now I’d love to offer services to others. I work remotely taking clients so I am available most days of the week t take care of your furry friends! We have lots of green space at nearby parks for decompressing and sniffing and live in a great neighbourhood for dog walks. I have a fully fenced yard, as well as a fenced dog run. Inside the house I do require dogs to be crate trained for overnights. I offer dogs clear communication and structure in my home, with a guarantee their needs will be met. One of my best friends is a dog trainer and I work heavily with my own dog to ensure needs like prey drive (play) and pack drive are met. As well as plenty of time to decompress.

Typically walking an average of 5 kms/day, however if the dog needs less active, I am happy to accomadate! I am home full-time so your best friend won't be alone for extended periods. I absolutely adore all pets especially senior animals and have lots of experience providing the extra patience, gentle care, and attention they need (Hanna is a senior but still thinks she’s a pup…), whether it’s helping with mobility, or just offering quiet companionship. This diverse background equips me with skills in puppy socialization, basic training, senior care, and even unique pets like birds or horses. I love building trust with every animal and their owner, no matter their age or needs! So, I can’t wait to meet yours :) As a university student, I’m reliably available in the evenings for visits or walks. On a given day, I can also fit in early morning walks if that works best for your pet’s schedule, I’m very flexible! Your pet’s safety and happiness come first. In your home I follow your instructions exactly for feeding, routines, playtime, and any special needs. I double-check doors and gates, provide lots of attention and cuddles, and keep everything secure. I treat your home with respect—tidy on arrival, tidier when I leave! About: I have a huge passion for dogs and taking care of their needs! I grew up with a boxer and an old English bulldog. I raised them from puppies and gave them the best home possible! About: As a family of six we ran a dog boarding care facility for over a decade. Fur babies have been our companions for most our lives. We enjoy outdoor exercise time with dogs. The company of a pet while relaxing at home is second to none. Life is only as good as the company you keep. We are a stay at home business owning family. With 6 of us and our friends and family coming or going throughout the day there is someone almost always home. Our boys are 22, 20 and 18 years and our daughter is now 9 years of age. We love cuddles and outdoor walks/jogs with dogs. Over night stays welcome or Pawsitive Pet Playcare! We are happy to accommodate your regular routine so your pet care is consistent while you are away. In Summer 2023, we welcomed a Yorkshire terror into our family. She’s been fun. Seen as dogs come with various personalities and traits we will enjoy getting to know your dog and socializing yours with ours. We can separate our dog from yours if necessary. If your dog is allowed to be on couch or bed we can accommodate that at our home.

About: My kids are grown, I’m on my own but haven’t set new roots. This is my time to move around and I’d like to be of use. Willing to travel and often do between Cochrane, Kelowna and Grande Prairie too. I prefer to care for two or a few, im used to juggling a crew.
