I'm available to house sit, dog walk, and play with your pets in their home where they're most comfortable and at ease. I'm available Sunday through Saturday for drop-in visits, and overnight stays.

I ask the owner about their pet's background, what their usual schedule is (especially in regards to eating, exercise, grooming, etc). if there are any foods they like/dislike, and if there are any medical needs I should be aware of. I make sure to get the phone number for the vet that their pet goes to, and discuss who to contact, and what to do in case of an emergency.

Please let me know if your dog has any special behaviours that need extra attention—e.g. they're scared of cars, don't get along well with other dogs, etc—if there's any medication that they need, schedules that they're used to, or a certain type of leash/halter that they prefer for walks.
A typical day
I love playing games with dogs—whether it's fetch, tug-of-war, frisbee, or home made obstacle courses, I'll make sure your dog has all the exercise they need. I also like taking dogs for walks around the neighbourhood, or for a hike at Nose Hill Park.

I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a teenager, feeding, grooming, and playing with pets whose ages range from just a few years old, to grey-haired, senior citizens. I also have experience taking care of pets on special diets, and those who need medication. I have previously volunteered with the Cochrane Humane Society, and currently volunteer with the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society animals from a variety of backgrounds, and with a variety of needs.

Nastassia was great. We booked her to pet sit our cat for 7 days. She is punctual, updated us with photos and our cat enjoyed staying with her. She is genuinely affectionate with our cat and also took good care of our house. Will surely rebook her.
Nastassia was did a great job taking care of our cats, plants, and home in general while we were away for a two-week trip. She was very attentive and open to feedback. We felt so much more at ease knowing that she was there to help. Highly recommend!
