1. Tiana C.
“Tiana was amazing! She took care of our cat during our trip home to PEI for over 2 weeks. Having her watch over and ask questions when she wasn't sure about something gave me peace of mind knowing my cat was taken care of and getting the much needed attention she missed while we were gone.”
2. Danielle P.
“Our dog took to Danielle right away, and Danielle took great care of her (and our two kitties!). Danielle was very friendly and reliable. Thanks so much!”
3. Abbie W.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life growing up. Always having a furry friend around allowed me to grow knowledge and to better understand the needs of many different breeds shapes and sizes (making me the pur-fect person to take care of your pup(s) 😆) I volunteered in an animal shelter for a year whilst in college growing my understanding on the needs of different animals and breeds and also allowing me to learn how to confidently administer medications. (even to those who’s mission it is to make it very difficult!!) I’ve been living in the Bow valley for almost a year now and have been enjoying exploring around and slowly, but surely trying out all of the hikes/ trails. I work full time in town Monday - Friday however I am fully available to take care of your pups at any other time you may need! When caring for your pup in your home I will always make sure they are comfortable and stick to their routines they are used to with you!
4. Felix & Rachel R.
“Great experience with Felix and Rachel, such a personalized approach! Came back to happy, fed and clean fur babies. Rachel has been very responsive and explained all the details. Thank you!!”
5. Brooke B.
“Brooke happily worked with me to meet Metsä’s timing needs for two in home visits, bathroom breaks, walks, and food/water while I was away on a one night backcountry trip. Because Metsä is a high energy 10 year old dog, who needs to be walked twice a day, we truly appreciate all Brooke did for us. I came home to a happy mellow and relaxed Metsä!”
6. Nancy R.
About: Hi there, I grew up with cats and dogs and now I am a dog mama of three dogs. I absolutely love spending time with doggos. Two of them are rescues and one is a bit reactive so have bit of experience with that. Have worked with trainers for my own dogs . I am currently not working so have quite a bit of flexibility. I am able to care for doggies and stay at your home no problem! Cuddles, walks, play & mental stimulation. I am a small person so no dogs over 50 lbs for everyone’s safety. Contact me if you need help while you travel.

8. Gabriella J.
“Gabriella was courteous and peasant. She was very timely, and even stayed longer than booked with our pup. Thanks for your help Gabriella!”
9. Stephanie M.
“Stephanie was amazing with our animals. She did many drop in visits with our dogs and cats, and was always on schedule and in constant communication to update us on how they were doing. Such a huge relief to see photos of our happy pets at home while we were away! Stephanie was also able to accomodate changes to our travel plans last minute, which was so very much appreciated. Thank you Steph!!!”
10. Brianna S.
“Brianna was extremely responsible, professional and followed instructions very well. She even went above and beyond by cleaning up messes that our cats made 😆 We were so nervous to leave my pets at home by themselves at first, but with Brianna's help, my husband and I became less worried and got a chance to enjoy our days away from our fur babies. Brianna sent us pics of our cats and communicate regularly so I felt even more confident leaving my babies in her hands. With no doubts, I'm going to rebook Brianna in the future. Highly recommended!!! Thank you, Brianna, see you next time !”
11. Kerry N.
“I contacted Kerry to take care of my little Molly, as I got super busy these days. She's a 7-mo old, very playful terrier, who's full of energy. Kerry took care of her as if it was her own little dog. Very happy with having contacted her. Looking forward to calling her again whenever my Molly needs some good care.”
12. Baillie H.
“Baillie was great watching our dog, we were nervous because she’s healing from a spinal but Baillie did a great job with her care and there were no issues.”
13. Jenna L.
“Jenna is great!!”
14. Deborah W.
“Deborah was great! We needed someone to check in on our kitten for a few days. He was exactly what she needed. We met her in advance and, while we were away, she fed him, played with him and cleaned the cat litter. Definitely recommend!”

About: As a dedicated pet lover with a deep passion for animals, being a pet sitter is not just a job for me, but a calling. I believe that pets are beloved members of our families, and they deserve the highest level of care and attention when their owners are away. With years of experience in pet care, including volunteering at local animal shelters and fostering animals in need, I have honed my skills in providing exceptional care for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I understand the unique needs and personalities of different animals, and I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for them. One of my top priorities as a pet sitter is the health and safety of the pets in my care. That's why I require all pets to be up-to-date on vaccinations to ensure the well-being of both the visiting pets and those in my home. This policy ensures a healthy and secure environment for all furry guests. I have a very secure location in my house where they are allowed to roam freely in the house with my small yard. I prefer the environment where the client is more comfortable towards its furry being as I understand animals love to stay more where they have grown up. I'm open to stay at client's house for a day or two for house sitting. As a pet sitter, I offer a range of services tailored to the needs of each individual pet, including regular exercise, feeding, bathing, and administering medication if necessary. I am also skilled in handling emergencies giving pet owners peace of mind knowing that their beloved pets are in capable and caring hands. Above all, my motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my unwavering love and passion for animals. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible for pets, creating a stress-free and enjoyable experience for them, and building lasting relationships with both the pets and their owners. I’m currently working from home, as my job offers me a flexible environment to work which helps me fulfill my passion of taking care of pets. On weekends I’m free so I can take full time care. I work according to the client’s need as they know their children better. There are no restrictions in my house as the little ones will not be chained or caged unless required as per the clients request as I believe they should have their own freedom and should feel like home.

I have just moved to Calgary and excited to explore the city and have always wanted a dog of my own but unfortunately most rentals are not pet friendly:( Can I take your dog on an adventure? I work early mornings so I have the rest of the day free to be able to go on walks however long or short. No matter the day. I’ll be free I give them lots of love and attention as if the dog is my own. As well cater to your pets needs and listen to your instruction to make sure your pet is healthy and safe.

About: **Please see notes at bottom of profile for extra info** **Radius for house sitting is up to 100 KM, Drop in visits and Dog Walking must be within 10 KM of Tuscany NW Calgary** Rover only allows you to set up one radius - we are willing to drive up to 100 KM to dog/house sit where we will be staying. Half hour to 1 hour dog walks and drop in visits need to be in a much smaller radius. We are a clean, responsible and reliable couple with 1/2 of us early retired, and the other that works remote. We love dogs, the trust they give you, walks, cuddles, playing brain games with them, and generally the company of them! We cared for a doodle for 14 ish months and learned a lot about food allergies, ear care for infections and how/where to hide pills so he would eat them! We enjoy exploring new areas of the city and house sit along with dog sitting! If we are caring for your furry family member, we send pics and video updates so you can relax and be worry free while you are away from home. We look forward to connecting further with you to see if we are a match for each other in caring for your home and/or dog while you are away. References are available upon request as well :) ***** Please see a couple of important notes that we were not able to select when setting up our profile***** *One of us has terrible allergies, so, we limit our dog care to those that have hair rather than fur* *Puppies that we board at our home must be fully house trained* *Re: Dog walking & drop in radius - profile set up only allows one radius; we would travel quite a ways to house/dog sit; but dog walking and or drop ins need to be within a 10 KM radius of Tuscany, NW Calgary *We accept dogs that are not aggressive with other dogs* *We generally only accept ONE dog from a family at a time, however - if we have a crossover booking outside of Rover - we will advise you (and ensure dogs would enjoy being around one another for a day or two crossover) prior to accepting a sit. No surprises! My name is Mairi - I am a retiree. My husband, Michael, is a web developer that works from "home" Due to how often we are in and out of the city, it would not be fair to have a pet of our own, but, we love dogs and this seems like it could be a very symbiotic situation. We have references upon request from people who trust us to spoil and love their dog while they are busy, or travelling. We pet sit to fill our hearts with dog love and give someone the peace of mind knowing their dog will be: spoiled, have full run of the house, cared for, played with and mentally stimulated while you are away. *We are non smoking* *We appreciate a home that is neat and clean and will be sure to leave your home the same for you upon your return* We will care for and spoil your dog(s) as our own, We are happy to follow routines the pets are used to. We treat our clients home as if it were our own. We appreciate coming into a clean home and will ensure we leave it clean as well.

19. Jaylene M.
“You couldn’t find some one who would be more suited for this than Jay. She’s knowledgeable and confident when it comes to dealing with both cats and dogs. Her cat Gibson is her world and I wouldn’t expect anything less when walking/ watching your cat or dog!!!!!!”

About: I have been a pet owner since childhood and have been the go to carer for others homes, pets and even children since I was in my teens. Retired in 2018 and set off house/pet sitting around the world. I am 5 star rated for pet and house care, communication, reliability and cleanliness. I am retired! I am willing to travel for longer sits + 1 week/a few hours drive from Calgary, +2 weeks further afield in BC and AB, +3 weeks further than that (Canada/US/International) I listen to the pets owner and try and stick closely to existing routines. I have a 10 lb Chorkie who loves making new friends, dogs, cats, snakes, you name it…people too.
