“Kathleen did an amazing job looking after our two large dogs. One can be very high energy and sometimes reactive but she was always calm and knew how to handle them. We were able to get away for the day without having to worry about our dogs which was so nice! She even washed their food bowls after they ate! Would highly recommend Kathleen and will be using her again :)”
“Tiana took such great care of my two kitties while I was away for a weekend, she provided me with a bunch of photos and videos each visit which was so nice to see while I was away. She took extra care and time to make sure their water bowls were filled and provided a similar atmosphere that I do when I'm home. They were so happy and looked so well taken care of when I arrived back home. I can't recommend her enough she is a true professional who puts extra care into her work and is very reliable and flexible. I will definitely ask Tiana to pet sit for me again next time I need a reliable and caring passionate pet sitter! Thank you again Tiana 💓”

“Felix and Rachel were absolutely amazing dog sitters for my pup, Hap! They went above and beyond, especially when Hap got sick during their care. Their quick response, calm demeanor, and dedication to making sure he was okay truly showed how much they care. They kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind. Despite the unexpected situation, Hap was clearly loved and well cared for. I’m so grateful for their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. I couldn’t have asked for better sitters and would trust them with Hap anytime!”

“Tianna did an excellent job sitting with Leo. I could tell he loved her as he looked so happy and playful in the photos she sent. She spent a good amount of time with him on each visit and gave me really great updates after. She also just seems like a sweetheart and it's clear that she's very good with animals. Would definitely recommend.”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years and have an amazing ability for having them relate to me. I am only working a full day on Friday's and my husband works out of a home office so I am very flexible regarding availability. I live on an acreage with a fenced yard and two friendly Maltese dogs and a dog friendly cat named Nigel. Dogs names are Maggie and Monty.
“Sara was excellent to work with! She gave great communication throughout the day, with lots of pics - which helped us feel secure - knowing our pup was being well cared for. We look forward to our next outing and having you in our home with Molly. Thanks so much Sara!”

About: 🐾 Hi! I’m Danielle! I've been lucky enough to enjoy the company a few dogs over the years with differing needs. I've been the mother of a large and goofy Pyredane whose need for adventure was similar to that of my own. Our favourite walks were at Nose Hill Park and Sue Higgins, and we loved snuggling up on the couch for a movie afterwards (after dinner of course). Wiley had a lot of health issues from the start and was constantly on meds. I dealt with allergies and sensitivities, constant infections and hospitalizations, separation anxiety, hot spots, and bathroom accidents. I spent a lot of time managing her needs so that she would be comfortable. I am familiar with dogs with special needs, meds, and have the patience and skillset to recognize and intervene when they are in distress. I grew up with a cocker spaniel who was a reactive greeter. Charlie wasn't friendly with other dogs so we leash-walked him and had to anticipate his needs before he could react. Because of this I am well-versed in dog behaviour and body language, and what to do in a crisis. I've also taken care of my family's active labradoodle Charlie #2 (creative, right?) Charlie is the happiest, friendliest, and easiest dog I have taken care of, and he is super social and bubbly. I take care of him on and off when my family is away. He is a very active and happy puppy. You can count on me to meet your pet's needs, and give them a sense of safety and security. I am very cuddly and interactive with animals. They will feel very loved and attended to. I just finished Nursing school and I'm working as a casual nurse at the moment, so my schedule is mostly open. When I'm not at home, I'm out for a walk or a run, or visiting friends who love having dog gatherings. Although they may miss you a lot, I can assure you that your fur babies will feel loved and cared for and have a lot of fun with me on our adventures. If they need to spend time away from other dogs, that's okay too, I can be flexible in my routine. I can do whatever, just depends on what you want. I can do on leash walks, off leash walks, dog park walks, socialization, play time etc... You let me know what works for you! If I'm staying at your place, I will get up in the morning, let them out for a quick pee, get breakfast ready, then we will go on a walk. I am fine if your pup feels comfortable sleeping in the same room/on the bed, and I'm also fine if they need to stay in their crate/kennel. I’m comfortable administering medications, managing special diets, and caring for dogs with chronic conditions or anxiety. I’m also very familiar with dog body language and how to calmly handle tense situations. Whether your pup is crate-trained, prefers their own bed, or likes sleeping nearby, I’ll stick to what they’re used to so they feel secure.
“Liza was very good with giving Shyanne her injections twice daily & she sent check-ins & check outs twice daily. Ours was different pet sit situation as my mom was their to clean litter boxes & feed them so I cannot comment on that. I will highly recommend Liza as she was on time for daily injections & Shyanne was good with her giving injections.”

About: A life-long animal lover, I’ve taken care of many beloved critters - big and small, from pet birds and rodents, to furry creatures (cats and dogs) to horses. A bit of an animal whisperer, I likely communicate better with them than people. Raising my own Entkebucher Mountain Dog and training her to be a service dog to bring with me to help provide support to others has taught me to be a better leader - to both animals and people, to be patient and understanding. I believe in positive reinforcement training and have trained my dog with this credo in mind. I’m reliable, patient and loving. My previous Entlebucher came into my life at age 8 and lived until 14.5 - a beautiful soul, I learned the joys and challenges of taking care of a senior dog. There are many cats in my life as well - I love to play with them (and dogs) as I feel that’s an important part of daily life. And can also just let them be when they want to be alone. I’m currently on a writing sabbatical and have plenty of time to take care of your pet/s. Ideally looking for longer term sitting in BC or AB. I love to walk and hike, no matter the weather, and am happy to bring your furry family member to explore new trails. As I am on sabbatical, I am looking for vacation pet sitting in your home. I’m flexible and happy to follow your instructions for caring for your pet. I share my own beloved fur baby with my former partner and would bring her with me, when it’s my turn to take care of her. She’s great with cats and makes friends fast with other dogs.
“Big thank you to Danielle for checking in on our senior kitty during our time away. It was so nice to have the peace of mind that she'd be well taken care of, especially because she is on medications. Danielle was super communicative, and I could tell from the photos that our cat was also a big fan, as she's not normally much of a cuddler! Would definitely book with Danielle again in the future. Thanks again. :)”

About: I have been in love with dogs since I was a young girl. I graduated from college with an Animal Care certificate. I have experience as an Animal Care Attendant at Bow Valley SPCA and a vet clinic. I feed the animals and exercise them outside. I clean there pens and make sure to give them any medication they require. Back home in Ontario I give my family dogs baths and groom them as well. I am currently working four days a week but that won’t stop me from watching your doggies. I would love the chance to take care of your dogs when I am free! I will gladly send you pictures and videos of your dogs when you are away to keep you updated! I will always play with your dogs and cuddle with them as well:) I have been missing my dogs back home so I also appreciate photos of my dogs and know how much it means.
About: Hello, Cooper and Mark here! Hoping to make best friends with your pet! We specialize in 1 pet family at a time so your loved ones can get all our attention! We love to walk, mild hikes, car rides and just to relax in the comfort of a nice big backyard or just watch tv. One of us also works from home so we’ll always be around and is also a night owl. We’re open for just about anything and have raised dogs, cats and other pets though-out our lives. From potty training, crate training, and providing different medications to more special needs such as eye drops, or full on blindness. At our home we are okay with pets on our furniture, or sleeping in our bed. We also provide a big yard with different types of turf - rocks, grass etc to make your pet feel comfortable. We also are surrounded by parks and nature trials which makes it easy for us to go on whatever activity your fluffy companion needs! One of us works from home, and we can go walking loads so having any dog would be a perfect fit for us as we can provide the correct amount of attention. We also can do house sitting/lodging for extended periods of time or just have a more chill time with your fluffy friend by just watching tv or cuddling. We have a fenced yard, decent size for running plus within walking distance of great paths and dog parks! Home is smoke free and pets are allowed on furniture and in our bed.
About: Aside from standard service and care with lots of pets and scratches, I can help with your cats and dogs medical needs! I was raised with cats in my home as well always being around my family and friends dogs alot my whole life and currently have a diabetic Cat of my own. So for both cats and dogs I can safely, 1) - Cleanly and calmly administer/take blood sugar tests with a Glucometer 2) - Perform insulin injections from pens, needles and pill form 3) - Perform/give vitamin injections and/or pills 4) - I know the signs of spiking or dipping blood sugar in cats and dogs and can test if I see any signs and give the corn syrup or an injection immediately 5) - Give properly timed food and water to your diabetic cats and dogs based on the diet plan you have already made with your vet 6 - Cats only ) - I can give owners with cats that may or may not be stubborn/picky towards their diets/food choices... a healthy no carb kibble/wet/raw diet based suggestion helping with either preventing cats with out diabetes from ever getting diabetes or... with helping cats WITH diabetes by creating a better healthier diet plan for a happier/healthier future! (For people interested, I'll provide a 3 tier budget options list for owners with cats based on my hands on studying/experience I have with them towards their diet/food habits and plans with price negotiations before any final decisions). This is my full time job so I'm flexible and I strictly work with cats both diabetic and non diabetic and I have help from a nurse at home for my own cat with diabetes so I can freely help most times when I won't be home to tend to my cats needs at home :) I am very loving and affectionate with my cat and I treat all cats the same good or bad and know when to respect their personal space if they are more shy/introverted! I can also handle more aggressive cats seeing my cat was a stray before I rescued him from the streets, there were times where he's been aggressive and scratched with bunny kicks and left some damage... so I know how to help encourage other cats to reverse aggressive behaviour and redirect it to become more gently/playful.
