“I was getting married on Saturday, August 24 and the hotel that we were staying at didn't allow dogs to be left alone. I had no one to watch Oakley during my wedding dinner and I was so stressed as I didn't know what to do. I downloaded Rover and contacted Ofer the day before my wedding. He replied within minutes. He was available and offered a reasonable price for 6 hours. He offered to pick up and watch Oakley at his place and also drop her off at our hotel. He asked if I wanted updates throughout the evening as he was being considerate that it was my wedding dinner. I have never left my dog with anyone else other than my family so I wanted updates to make sure she was okay. Ofer sent me messages and pictures so I felt relieved that Oakley was doing okay. As per my requests, Oakley went out on lots of sniffaris and had multiple potty breaks. Ofer even hand fed Oakley her dinner. As per Ofer, Oakley just cuddled with him and slept most of the visit. I felt so relieved that Ofer was able to watch Oakley and that I was able to enjoy my wedding! I highly recommend Ofer and am forever grateful he was able to take good care of my dog of honor.”

About: Although I don’t have extensive sitting experience, I have been fortunate enough to live with pets my whole life. Growing up with the family dog (an English Springer Spaniel called Charlie) gave me fundamental animal care knowledge and an understanding of dogs that stretched into my love for all animals. During secondary school, I’d look after Charlie whilst my parents worked, walking, playing and feeding him. On the side, I also took up occasional gigs looking after the neighbours cat and walking my mums friends dogs. Three years ago, my family got a gorgeous and mischievous puppy (a German Shorthaired Pointer called Lola), and I was able to take a stronger role in her training and care. Additionally, at university, my flatmate brought her cat to live with us, which I would look after whenever she went away. Some non-pet care, but animal experience I have is working on a farm seeing to the pigs and chickens one August ago in Denmark, and volunteering at a reptile centre in Ontario last September. I work as a personal/administrative assistant, doing mostly all of the work on my laptop at home in Canmore. Because of this, I spend a lot of my time just lounging in our flat, whenever not snowboarding or bouldering or going on walks. I have plenty of time to add an animal into this routine, though I am unable to bring pets back into my flat. I am happy to take your pup on lots of walks and spend hours playing with your pet. I will keep a huge respect for you, your pet and your home, making sure your animal is looked after and loved. I have my own vehicle that I can use to drive your pet on some adventures.
