About: Lifelong animal lover with experience raising large dogs, cats, snakes, and even iguanas! Active, responsible, and have a truck for safe pet transport if needed. I treat every animal like family, bringing energy, love, and care to every visit. Since I can’t have pets in my home, I’m thrilled to share my heart and time with yours! I’m an aesthetician and makeup artist in Canmore , I work 10-6 regularly with some early bridal mornings. I am able to do morning and evening walks and some throughout the day depending 😊 I’m very respectful of your space and well-versed in pet safety—fences, crates, doors, and gates are all triple-checked. I treat your home like my own. You’re never “too much” whatever you need me to do just write it out and I’ll follow it and send you many updates , videos pics etc
About: Hi! My name is Danika (Dani). I was a dog groomer for 8 years and worked in a dog day-care for 2 years; thus I have experience with many types of dog breeds! I grew up fostering both cats and dogs (and the odd rabbit). After University I volunteered doing pet therapy with my dog at a seniors home which we both loved. Now, I don't have a pet of my own so I have lots of time for yours! I have experience with nail trims as well which I am happy to help with. I currently work as a massage therapist in town so I have a flexible schedule with many gaps in my day to come home. Most days I work are 1/2 days. I live in a condo so I don't have a fenced yard which means each time your pet goes out they will be on leash. I do however, have a small, quiet, fenced dog park near my home. Which depending on their needs I am more than happy to take them there!
About: I've always had dogs in my life, from tiny dachshunds to a great dane. I started a Rover account after we said goodbye to our beloved family dog, Mya, after 11.5 years of adventures together. I missed having a dog to share my love for an active mountain lifestyle with and encourage me to get outside in all types of weather. Soon after creating the account, I deactivated it to welcome a new member named Bailey to our family. Bailey is a 3 year old German Shepherd x Lab Retriever. She will be home during doggie day care so your dog should be good with other dogs. Walks can be done separately if that better suits your dog. I am comfortable with dogs of any age from puppy to senior and am regularly entrusted with caring for many friends dogs. While your dog is in my care, I'm happy to implement any training techniques you may be working on, including ecollar. If looking for full day care for your dog, and have any concerns about compatibility, please book a few days out so that our pets can have a chance to meet to ensure a good match before welcoming them into our home. I am an active person and love spending time outdoors, especially with the company of a furry friend. I currently work only 2-3 days/week, and am off throughout summer, therefore I have availability and flexibility throughout the day to play with your pup, offer pee breaks, take walks, visit dog parks, etc. Rovers availability options don’t quite accurately reflect my true windows of availability so get in touch and we will figure it out. I do have a 11 year old son so if requests are outside of school hours, there’s a chance he may be present - please let me know if your dog is not okay with children. I have a fenced yard and also live very close to 2 fenced dog parks within Canmore. I have a reliable vehicle and am willing to transport your dog to their favourite park or hike.
“This was our second time having Ofer take care of Dali, and he’s fantastic. He’s such a great storyteller and truly a cat whisperer - attentive, gentle, and so in tune with her. Dali always feels calm and cared for with him. Highly recommend!”

About: My experience includes hands-on care with the SPCA, as well as volunteering at a dog sanctuary, where I cared for a wide range of dog breeds! I’ve had a rural upbringing and have grown up with dogs my whole life, so looking after them feels very natural to me 😊. I’m confident with different temperaments and focus on consistent care. I’m currently in Canmore on a working holiday visa from Scotland. I have a very flexible schedule. Working part-time in town means I’m available most days for walks and drop-ins, whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening 😊. I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care! For 25 years, I have had Jack Russell Terriers, a breed known for their intense hunting drive, intelligence and energy. My current pup Dan enjoys long walks around the farm, but also loves his home comforts. I miss the companionship of a pup and would love to look after yours! I keep things simple by sticking to your pet’s usual routine. Walks are all about fresh air, exercise, and plenty of sniff time, while drop-ins include feeding, water, bathroom breaks, and some company. I make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable 💕
About: I have been pet sitting for family, friends and through pet sitting websites for many years. I absolutely love pets and am looking to fill the void of missing mine whilst living in Canada. I am currently working full time hours across 4 days per week. I work close to town and can duck home during lunch breaks if required. I am home for most of the weekends I am happy to follow and routine or structure for the pets I look after. I have one dog in the house where I live so I am unable to offer boarding boarding
About: Experienced dog-sitter from London, UK. Served two clients loyally for 3.5yrs, looking after their dogs and taking them on day-trip adventures and holidays. Have provided a variety of one-off care for multiple other clients. My husband & I have recently moved to Canada and we are missing our doggo-time! We would love a furry friend to help keep us company. I am taking a career break whilst my husband works as a mountain guide in the Rockies. We lead active lifestyles, but also love relaxing at home. Our building is pet-friendly, and we have a mini dog park outside. We have hard flooring throughout our flat but we would be happy to lay down additional rugs if required, depending on your pet's preferences. We don't have any stairs.
“Jess was literally a lifesaver! We had the huge ask of getting her to take care of our giant dog during our wedding ceremony and she truly rose to the occasion! She handled him wonderfully and especially having never met him before, he was so comfortable with her! We were truly so impressed with how professional and caring she was for our boy on our special day!”

About: I grew up with several family pets and my wife and I currently have 2 very active Australian Shepherds. My wife and I are outdoorsy and love walking, hiking, training and playing with our dogs. I’m currently available for walking services as well as drop-in visits. If you have a fenced area, I may also be able to provide doggy playdates with one of my Aussies to give your pet some playtime! In 2024 I’m available Saturdays & Sundays (usually anytime) and Mon-Fri (only after 6pm). My days off largely revolve around time with my wife and dogs outdoors, so some extra walks/drop-ins are easy to fit into my schedule. I’m happy to do drop-in services, and offer stimulating play sessions as well as exercise to keep your pet(s) occupied while you’re absent. One of my Aussies can join for added socialization/play sessions. A meet and greet is suggested prior to our first play session to ensure the dogs are compatible.
“Kathleen helped us out with a last minute dog visit and we were very happy with the care she provided for our dog - will definitely contact again if we need any dog walking in the future!”

About: Since I was a child, animals have always been part of my life — cats, dogs, hamsters, and fish. I’ve always enjoyed taking care of them and understanding their needs. Back in Czechia, we have two cats (one of them is mine) and a dog. Whenever other family members were away, I took full care of all the animals, making sure they are fed, exercised, and feel safe and comfortable. I’ve also pet-sat for my sister’s cat several times, handling feeding, litter care, playtime, and providing calm companionship. Unfortunately I was not able to bring my pet with me to Canada, so I am more than happy to take care of your pet! In case of cat sitting I can check up on your cat at least twice a day and provide playtime and snuggles. As for dog care and walk your dog on my days off :) I treat each animal as it is my own, so with love and respect. I am reliable and responsible and will always make sure your pet is feeling safe.
About: I have had Boxers and Boston terriers. 2 very different breeds requiring different approaches to training and care. Whether you have a puppy which requires pee breaks and basic command training, or slower walks for a senior dog, I am familiar with both. I am an active person and looking forward to providing care to your pet as if they were my own. On a career break and looking to spend my days outside on adventures with a furry friend. Available most days of the week and can be flexible on time. Morning, day or evening, I can give your dog a walk or drop in to feed them. Life is busy and knowing that your dog is being well cared for and walked really helps ease your mind. Also if you are travelling, I know sometimes you may want to go for dinner or do activities where unfortunately our furry family members aren’t invited. I can take your dog for a few hours to let you do that. I provide attentive, individualized care based on each pet’s needs and routine. In my home and/or a client’s home, I ensure pets have fresh water, appropriate feeding schedules, regular exercise, playtime, and companionship. I follow any specific instructions regarding medications, training, dietary requirements, or behavioral needs. I keep the environment clean and safe, monitor pets for signs of illness or distress, and provide updates to owners as requested. My goal is to help pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible.
“Laura was great! She helped us by taking care of our cat over a weekend trip. We came home to a happy meow who didn’t seemed bothered at all that we were gone! (Normally she’s a stress ball when we are gone). Laura sent us notes on how our baby was doing, photos, and noted any concerns if there were any. Really appreciate the care and detail Laura had for our meow! Highly recommend ??”

About: ⭐️ Experienced & Loving Pet Care You Can Trust ⭐️ I have always been a passionate animal lover, with years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets. Over the years, I have cared for my own pets, including two dogs, two cats, a hamster, and a parakeet. I worked part-time for a little while as an administrative assistant in a veterinary clinic, giving me valuable insight into pet health and well-being. I also volunteered at a cat shelter in Montreal, where I took care of hundreds of cats with different needs—feeding them, cleaning their spaces, and ensuring they felt comfortable and loved. In addition to my own furry (and feathered!) family, I have provided pet sitting for many friends, looking after dogs of all breeds and personalities. Now, with only my cat at home, I truly miss spending time with dogs. I work mainly from home, which means I can give your pets plenty of attention. If needed, I can also work from your place, as long as there’s a reliable internet connection. I’m an active person who loves going for walks and spending time outdoors. If your dog enjoys running, I’d be happy to go for a jog with them! We can also head to the river for a refreshing dip and some fun playtime in the water. But if your pet prefers to just chill on the couch and cuddle up while watching Netflix, that’s perfectly fine too! I am meticulous, organized, and reliable. I will follow your instructions to the letter and ensure your pet’s routine is maintained. I’m also comfortable administering oral medication if needed. When your pet is with me, they will be safe, loved, and treated like family. 💕 I have a flexible schedule that changes from week to week. I tend to work more part-time than full-time and have a hybrid work setup, spending some time at the office but mostly working virtually, from home. When I’m at your home, I’ll follow your instructions carefully and ensure everything is safe, clean, and comfortable for your pet. I’ll stick to their usual routine, whether that means feeding, walking, playtime, or just quiet companionship. My goal is to make sure they feel secure and loved while you’re away.

About: ****Important Info: I work full time during the day and usually cannot do pet care during regular work hours. If I'm boarding your pet, he/she must be comfortable being alone for up to 4 hours at a time and must not have separation anxiety (barking)**** Hi! 😊 I’m a mature, single, former dog owner and I’d love to watch your pets for you or help with walks! I’m less brave than I once was, so your pet must be friendly and easily manageable, particularly if I’m entering your home when you’re away. I love having cat / dog buddies stay with me, especially if your dog is up for weekend adventures! I trail run, xc ski and hike, so if you have an active dog, they'll come with me on fun mountain adventures! I have a full time job (8am - 5pm, M-F) and lots of fun hobbies so I don’t have a lot of extra time for dog walking, particularly during the day. But I’m reliable whenever I confirm availability. I live in a very small house with an unfenced yard shared with other pets, so your pet must not be reactive if staying with me. A bark or two is fine and expected, but if your pet has separation anxiety, my home isn't a good place for them to stay. I’m a trail runner so if your dog needs exercise I'd be happy to help!
“Élise came by to hang out with Archie while we went out for dinner. Archie was immediately all over her as soon as they met, and he’s the best judge of character! Thanks Élise for looking after our little guy!”

“Booked Janine for a second time and I could tell my cat Daeny has really loved having Janine drop-in while we were away. Janine followed our instructions well and communicated very well with us if there were any issues. We will definitely continue to rebook in the future! We also appreciate their availability for holidays where most sitters may not be available.”

“We really appreciate Audrey helping us out with a last minute request! Care and communication was top notch. She contacted us before entering the house and it was obvious by the photos that our Luna loved her! Thank you so much Audrey!”

About: Looking for a doggy daycare that doubles as an outdoor adventure? I’m your sitter! If you want your dog to return home happy, tired and thoroughly fulfilled, you’ve found the right spot. I work from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize outdoor time. Every single daycare stay includes at least one 5–10km hike (or if requested, trail run), or a split routine of two 3–5km walks. I have experience with all breeds, but I specialize in high-energy working dogs (Cattle Dogs, Aussies, and Border Collies). My own best friend Metsä, is a 14-year-old Blue Heeler, so I deeply understand the physical exercise and mental stimulation these breeds need to stay happy. Metsä gets a minimum of 2 hours of outdoor time a day, and I can't wait to meet some new friends and hit the trails together! When I am not travelling for my job, I work from home full. Metsä and I love having another four legged friend at home to go for a nice hike with. I work from a home office and always have your dog in the room with me during the daytime hours. When we go on a walk and out for bathroom breaks your dog will remain on leash at all times.

Isabella did a wonderful job with our two dogs. This was only the second time we’ve used Rover and it was a great experience. Both dogs seemed relaxed and content when we got home. Isabella stayed the entire day with them while we spent time sightseeing! She’s a very kind and responsible sitter!
