About: I've worked at the SPCA and have experience with all types of cats and dogs. I've also got lots of experience with special needs animals and distributing all types of medications. Availability is wide open. I can pick up your dogs and take them for walks or to the dog parks. I can come over and feed your animals. Anything you need. I can take your dog over night at my house. About: I grew up with several family pets and my wife and I currently have 2 very active Australian Shepherds. My wife and I are outdoorsy and love walking, hiking, training and playing with our dogs. I’m currently available for walking services as well as drop-in visits. If you have a fenced area, I may also be able to provide doggy playdates with one of my Aussies to give your pet some playtime! In 2024 I’m available Saturdays & Sundays (usually anytime) and Mon-Fri (only after 6pm). My days off largely revolve around time with my wife and dogs outdoors, so some extra walks/drop-ins are easy to fit into my schedule. I’m happy to do drop-in services, and offer stimulating play sessions as well as exercise to keep your pet(s) occupied while you’re absent. One of my Aussies can join for added socialization/play sessions. A meet and greet is suggested prior to our first play session to ensure the dogs are compatible.

My four-year-old dog, Miel, is the perfect walking companion—well-behaved, friendly, and always ready to hit the trails. At home, she shares the space with Samba, my one-year-old cat, who has naturally claimed her role as queen bee of the house (no surprise there!). Before adopting Miel, I cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including seniors and reactive pups. I consider myself a “strict but loving” pet parent—structure is important, but I’m often found tossing a ball, handing out treats, or teaching new tricks between cuddles. I work from home here in Canmore and walk Miel three times a day—rain, snow, or shine. Our morning and evening walks are around 40 minutes on local trails, and midday we hit the dog park for some social time. If your pup enjoys canine company, they’re welcome to join us! I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I already walk my dog three times a day and visit the dog park—your pup is welcome to join us, or I can give them one-on-one time depending on their needs. Whether in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet always has fresh water, food (if needed), and lots of attention. Safety and comfort come first.

About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Since I was 10 years old, I've looked after pets for neighbours, friends, and family. Ranging from quick walks to full-day care. My experience includes caring for energetic puppies as well as senior dogs who need a gentler approach and extra attention. We’ve lived in Canmore for just 2.5 years and are both working full time as an RMT(Gemma) and electrician apprentice (Alasdair) in the Bow Valley. We’ll be co-sitting/walking together, so our flexibility is twice as good! Mornings and evenings are when we are most likely available. About: I'm sorry, but I can only take small breeds of dogs at the moment. I have extensive experience with all breeds of dogs. I had a boarding at home business for 10 years with over 100 clients who booked a year in advance for my services. I will only take one dog at a time. This is ideal if your dog does not get along with other dogs. Also, will get a lot of one on one time. I can also provide home visit services. I am now retired so have plenty of time to care for dogs in my home. I am home most of the time so your dog will not be left alone much. I can provide home visits as well. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and finally my husband and I got our own Border Collie puppy four years ago. We are currently on a working holiday in Canada and were unable to bring out dog with us. We miss him so much and love spending time with other animals to try and fill that void. About: I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my whole life. Aside from the cows and chickens, I've always had 2 dogs by my side. While living in Toronto, I worked at a Dog Daycare at Yonge and St. Clair avenue dealing with a wide range of dogs. Whether training them to herd chickens back to the coop or teaching a pup to walk on a leash, I feel I have a broad range of experience that would make me a great option for your animal. I just had to say goodbye to our 16 year old Brittany, Diego, who meant the world to us. While he enjoyed his final years in the peace of the mountains, he felt the affects of his age and my main focus was to make sure he was as happy and comfortable as possible. I learned so much from taking care of an ailing senior dog and I gained even more compassion for dogs than I ever thought I could. I currently work Thursdays to Monday from 9-5 with availability in the evenings, as well as my weekends. My partner has a less predictable schedule and will also be around to help or fill in the gaps where I'm busy. I occasionally go into Calgary on my days off but generally stay close to Canmore most of the time. We have a car, so if comfortable, we can easily drive to the dog parks or trails that are further away. We love exploring new areas with dogs. Even though Diego made it to 16, he demanded frequent walks so we’re used to heading out every few hours and have no problem doing that with any dog (or cat) who wants it . Both my partner are very active and enjoy spending lots of time outside and having a furry companion to join us is even better. We are avid runners and would be more than happy to take a dog along for a run . We available and eager to do pet sitting in the pet's home. I’m less brave than I once was, so your pet must be friendly and easily manageable, particularly if I’m entering your home when you’re away. I have a full time job (8am - 5pm, M-F) and lots of fun hobbies so I don’t have a lot of extra time for dog walking, particularly during the day. But I’m reliable whenever I confirm availability. I live in a very small house with an unfenced yard shared with other pets, so your pet must not be reactive if staying with me. I’m a trail runner so if your dog needs exercise id be happy to help!
