“My Daughter was coming in from the Uk, she booked us into Canmore for 2 days and treated me to a day at the Nordic Spa, I needed someone to look after Buddy my 6 year old sheltie/pom, I was so lucky to have found Bia, he has really never been away from me, Bia new just how to handle him and made him feel comfortable right away,he was so content when we went to pick him up, he slept so well that night after having 2 walks with Bia and spending the day with her, I could tell he had a great day! Wish she lived closer to me but when I visit Canmore again I will for sure be booking with Bia she is an excellent dog sitter! Thank you again Bia 🙂”

“Freddy was so well looked after! Stephanie and Robert took our boy last minute after original plans fell through and couldn’t have been more welcoming to him. Stephanie sent photos to keep us updated, gave him lots of walks and snuggles and I think he had the best two days of his life! Thank you!”

“So pleased! We were able to attend the hockey game we came here to see without worrying about our fur baby! Jackie went out of her way to meet us in town afterwards and our girl was obviously well taken care of... Thank you so much Jackiie!!”

“WOW. Colleen is incredible. It was my partner's first time EVER leaving his dog with a stranger, and it was only my second time leaving my dog with someone I didn't already know, and we both felt SO good about it. She understands dog body language and how dogs communicate with each other, she understands dogs and different dog breeds/traits so well. I would trust her with any pet. Her own dogs and cat are absolutely wonderful. We have a australian shepherd and a huskey/german shepherd. Drop off and pick up was wonderful, she is the kindest most lovely human. I could tell the dogs had an absolute blast with her, and were very tired!! She sent us updates and photos which were amazing. I don't know if there is anything more I could say, 10/10, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“Stacey is like a second family to my little guy. She treats him so well and I’ve never felt like my dog has been in better hands. She is my go-to Rover and I hope to never book with anyone else!”

“This was Daisy’s first time staying with someone she didn’t know and Alex made sure she had lots of fun and was comfortable. She sent pictures to us throughout the day and even took Daisy on a walk. We highly recommend Alex to watch your pup if you are in or passing through Banff!”

About: Hi! We’re Will and Ellie (Wellie) — a British couple living permanently in Canada who work in the entertainment industry and love spending our downtime with furry friends. I (Ellie) have been fostering dogs since I was a teenager — especially pups who needed a little extra love, whether they were seniors, had medical issues, or came from tough backgrounds. I’ve helped care for lots of dogs who needed time to heal before finding their forever homes, so I’m super comfortable with giving meds, managing mobility, and just being a calm, reassuring presence. I’ve also looked after dogs with reactivity — whether that’s around other animals, people, or wildlife — and I always tailor care to what each dog needs to feel safe. Will works in wildlife and has tons of experience around animals too, so between the two of us, your pup is in good hands! We’ve both done in-home pet sitting (dogs and cats!) and have experience with everything from high-energy pups to cuddle bugs. We bought a house here in Canada just a year ago, and we're excited to start helping local families with their pets soon! We both work from home, ensuring any furry visitors have maximum attention and strokes throughout the day. During the week, we regularly let pets out into the yard for breaks, as well as two walks a day (to stretch our legs and theirs!). On the weekends we love to adventure into the parks for hiking or lake days, and we're always eager to bring your pup with us! We live in a house with a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for potty breaks and playtime. There’s a security camera system on the property, and we never leave dogs outside alone — we’re always right there with them. We also have indoor cameras so we can check in on your pup if we need to run out for a quick errand, just to make sure they’re safe and settled. Our yard backs right onto beautiful forest trails, and we’re a short walk from a great dog park too. That said, with unpredictable wildlife in the area, we always keep dogs on-leash during walks unless we’ve discussed otherwise with you in advance — and only if we both feel confident in your pup’s recall and comfort level. Your dog’s safety (and ours!) is the top priority, and we want to make sure everyone stays safe and happy no matter where we’re adventuring. We’re both used to handling outdoor animal encounters and tailor each outing to what your dog enjoys — whether that’s quiet sniffy walks, socialising, or just a quick pee break in the backyard.

“Nicola is truly wonderful! She’s responsive, friendly, and accommodating. She’s taken care of Bean on several occasions (and sometimes even on short notice). She’s attentive to our pets’ needs and keeps us well informed (with photos, details, and a completed report). Bean seemed very happy to spend time with Nicola! I recommend her without hesitation and will definitely be using her services again very soon.”

“Laura has taken care of our two cats a number of times. She’s been fabulous every time! We feel at ease when we’re away knowing that our fur babies are being cared for by Laura. She also always sends us daily updates and photos. I’d highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a great person to care for their pet!!”

“Ofer was brilliant and patient with our anxious kitty, had won her around by the end of the week! Lots of good photos and videos, good updates and made sure food, water and litter was topped up and clean, gave our kitty lots of attention and cleaned up after she was sick one morning. Thoroughly recommended and will be booking again!! 🙂”

“Élise took great care of our cat, Nala, while we were on vacation! She was very responsive, sent us pictures during every drop-in, and even watered our plants and took the garbage out! Nala was very spoiled to have Élise look after her while we were away. Thank you so much! Would highly recommend!”

About: Hello there! I'm an animal lover who is keen to help you provide the best possible care for your fur child. I work from home and lead an active lifestyle, so I'm able to meet your pet where they are at for their energy level and care requirements. I have experience with dog behavioural issues such as leash pulling, resource guarding, and extreme reactivity. Having owned a dog in the past with these issues, I've invested in training to help address these behaviours and can easily jump in to your current training plan to provide consistency for your dog. For boarding and daycare services, I live in pet-friendly apartment building with close proximity to quiet trails and a green space outside for quick and easy access to regular potty breaks. Work from home Monday-Friday. I may have the occasional virtual meeting to attend, but outside of that I have flexibility to tend to your pets needs throughout the day. I work with owners to maintain a consistent schedule and training for their pet. Owners are required to provide any specific tools (crate, leashes, etc.) that they would like me to use.

About: We had a cat in our household since I was 7 years old. I have a lot of experience with cat care since now I even have my own cat, unfortunately I couldn’t take him with me to Canada, so I am very excited to take care of your furry friend. I am used to taking care of the litter, playtime, snuggles, brushing or medical care such as giving pills or other types of treatment. I love spending time with cats and I am looking forward to meet yours!

“Valerie was amazing! I requested very last minute to have her come to our campsite and potty our dogs a couple of times in a day. She was super quick to respond, flexible and communicative. We really appreciated her taking care of our fur babies so we could enjoy the beauty of Banff!”

About: I'm sorry, but I can only take small breeds of dogs at the moment. I have extensive experience with all breeds of dogs. I had a boarding at home business for 10 years with over 100 clients who booked a year in advance for my services. I will only take one dog at a time. This is ideal if your dog does not get along with other dogs. Also, will get a lot of one on one time. I can also provide home visit services. I am now retired so have plenty of time to care for dogs in my home. I am home most of the time so your dog will not be left alone much. I can provide home visits as well. Lots of care and attention will be provided for your dog. Long walks multiple times during the day.
About: I have been pet sitting for family, friends and through pet sitting websites for many years. I absolutely love pets and am looking to fill the void of missing mine whilst living in Canada. I am currently working full time hours across 4 days per week. I work close to town and can duck home during lunch breaks if required. I am home for most of the weekends I am happy to follow and routine or structure for the pets I look after. I have one dog in the house where I live so I am unable to offer boarding boarding
About: I grew up with several family pets and my wife and I currently have 2 very active Australian Shepherds. My wife and I are outdoorsy and love walking, hiking, training and playing with our dogs. I’m currently available for walking services as well as drop-in visits. If you have a fenced area, I may also be able to provide doggy playdates with one of my Aussies to give your pet some playtime! In 2024 I’m available Saturdays & Sundays (usually anytime) and Mon-Fri (only after 6pm). My days off largely revolve around time with my wife and dogs outdoors, so some extra walks/drop-ins are easy to fit into my schedule. I’m happy to do drop-in services, and offer stimulating play sessions as well as exercise to keep your pet(s) occupied while you’re absent. One of my Aussies can join for added socialization/play sessions. A meet and greet is suggested prior to our first play session to ensure the dogs are compatible.

“Sarah is AMAZING. My husband and I were attending a wedding. We are from out-of-town and she was so accomodating. We feel so grateful to have found someone to love and care for our pup as much as we do.”

I can’t wait to meet your furry friend soon! I currently work very flexible hours so I can be available as often as required to help you out with your pups scheduling needs. Walks, drop-in visits or home stays - you name it and I can make it work for you! My pet friendly home has a wonderful, resident pup to keep your four-legged friend company. We’re comfortable if you’re comfortable - crate or no crate, on leash walks or dog parks, it’s totally up to you!
