We were visiting Banff for the Banff Half Marathon and Jasmine was so accommodating to watch Taiga (2 year old goldendoodle) while we were running. Great communication and very punctual. I would highly recommend Jasmine!

Amazing ! Great communication with lots of updates and pics. Our usually traumatized pup warmed up to her almost instantly—which says everything. Jingxi clearly gives so much care and attention. Highly recommend and would 100% book again!

Valerie was amazing! I requested very last minute to have her come to our campsite and potty our dogs a couple of times in a day. She was super quick to respond, flexible and communicative. We really appreciated her taking care of our fur babies so we could enjoy the beauty of Banff!

Kathleen did an amazing job looking after our two large dogs. One can be very high energy and sometimes reactive but she was always calm and knew how to handle them. We were able to get away for the day without having to worry about our dogs which was so nice! She even washed their food bowls after they ate! Would highly recommend Kathleen and will be using her again :)

About: If you want a very active person who will walk your dog(s) multiple time’s a day, then I’m your girl! If you want a very affectionate person who will cuddle your dog(s) to death, then I’m your girl! My names Alex, and I have lived in the bow valley for acouple of years now. It’s a nice place but it wouldn’t be the same without our Bestfriends. I figure since I love animals so much I may as well help the community out and be there for whoever is in need of my service. I know how nice it is to travel and get away but the guilt of leaving your pets is shitty. I’ll make sure they have the best time and get lots of cuddles ❣️ Woof x I spend most of my days snowboarding and have most nights of the week off to cuddle and care for my pet friends. I have a fenced in back yard and front yard! Depending on the pets energy level I either take them on a short walk or to the dog park.

About: Big or small, shy or social, reactive or dependent. I respect your animal for who they are and appreciate them for it. I have walking experience with all types and have house sat for many. Flexible and full time availability as of the month of December - do expect some changes in that availability come the new year. Please reach out with further questions! Let me know your expectations of a dog walker and/or sitter. (Cat sitter as well). I’m adaptive, understanding and a trustworthy independent worker. If I’m taking care of your pet(s) my attention will be with them. Brushing them during down time to playing until they are ready for a lay down.

About: Hi! I’m Hannah, a 26 year old Canadian living out in Banff National Park for the past 4 years. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always felt like second nature to me. Back in high school I started working in dog daycares through a co-op program, and quickly realized this was exactly what I wanted to do. From 2016–2022, I worked in different dog daycare and care centres across Ontario, gaining over 5 years of hands on experience working with dogs of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I want both pets and owners to feel comfortable and confident knowing they’re in good hands. I service the Banff and Lake Louise areas. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and giving them all the love and attention they’re used to at home! Warmly, Hannah Pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I work a regular 9–5 job from during the week, but my evenings are usually pretty quiet, which gives me lots of time to dedicate to pet care, walks, playtime, and keeping pets company. Living in Banff also means I already spend a lot of time outdoors and staying active, so caring for dogs fits perfectly into my lifestyle. I am unable to provide pet care in my own home, but I can travel to the client’s home to care for their pets. I offer services such as dog walking, outdoor exercise, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love while the pet remains comfortable in their own environment or outdoors! :)

We had a wonderful experience with our cat sitter. She took excellent care of our cat, making sure he was well fed and always had fresh water. She was kind, patient, and reassuring, helping him feel comfortable while we were away. She also sent us photos every day, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to see how well he was doing. We really appreciated her care, reliability, and communication, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
