About: Experienced dog-sitter from London, UK. Served two clients loyally for 3.5yrs, looking after their dogs and taking them on day-trip adventures and holidays. Have provided a variety of one-off care for multiple other clients. My husband & I have recently moved to Banff and we are missing our doggo-time! We would love a furry friend to help keep us company. My husband & I both work at Mount Norquay. We predominantly work on weekends however our availability will be variable and flexible each week. We lead active lifestyles, but also love relaxing at home. Our home is pet-friendly, having been curated for a curious pug (no longer resident here). We have a combination of carpet and hardwood floor depending on your furry friend's preferences. We would be happy to lay down additional rugs if required. Our garden is fenced. We have internal and external stairs.

Ana and Elliot were beyond! Caring, communicative, wanting to do whatever they could to help. Mischa has a wound they noticed for the first time and they reached out, send photos, took her to the vet, and helped with meds, putting her in a cone, monitoring her, etc. I felt so sure she was in good hands until I got back. Can’t thank you guys enough. And my place was spotless too, which wasn’t necessary but was certainly appreciated. Lovely couple of humans.

Sarah was so accommodating and made me feel so much better with leaving my little girl at the hotel while I went snowboarding. She even came in super late a couple nights before today because I wasn’t able to get back to the hotel when I was supposed to! I will be having her watch my dog/dogs again next time I visit! Thank you so much! ❤️

Tereza was wonderful! I had my wedding out in banff and needed a dog sitter just while we were out for dinner. Tereza agreed to do a meet and greet with us to make sure my doggy was comfortable with her. She sent me updates right away when I asked and took her for a great walk as well. Lacey loved hanging out with Tereza, would definitely ask her to doggy sit again if we ever needed her :)

About: Hi folks! I’m very lucky to have a lot of experience taking care of pets—I've had my own cats and dogs, and I've also looked after some amazing and quirky farm animals! Over the years, I’ve done plenty of pet and house sitting for others (friends, family, and lots of pet-sitting website users), so I’m used to keeping pets happy and making sure everything runs smoothly while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and always make sure they’re well cared for and loved. *please note I do not offer pet-sitting in my own home, as I have a cat who isn’t a fan of other animals! **I also usually require at least 48 hours notice to book pet-sitting and dog walks, as I have a very packed schedule! I work part-time in town and am usually pretty available Monday-Friday. I’m flexible and can fit in some dog walks almost daily, but the times may vary depending on the time of year! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to stick to their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. For dogs, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, whether it’s walks, playtime, or backyard runs. I also give them regular meals, fresh water, and lots of attention. For cats, I stick to their feeding schedule, keep their litter boxes clean, and offer playtime to keep them engaged. I treat each pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of affection and monitoring their well-being while their owners are away. For dog walks, I’m always on the lookout for potential hazards and making sure lots of energy is expelled! Maybe a trip to the dog park if appropriate, or a good long walk along the river or up Buffalo Mountain. Happiness, exercise, and good health are the goals, for both the dogs and me!

About: I have extensive experience working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, and I'm passionate about positive interactions and training techniques! I am a flexible and easygoing person to coordinate with, and more than anything - I absolutely love dogs! I have a family background in training working dogs, and have spent time volunteering with rescues and fostering. I am happy and comfortable doing regular walks (of any length, on leash or at the dog park), check ins (as often as wanted or needed), and dog sitting for various lengths of time in your own home. I make animals feel at ease in any environment, and always put their needs first. I am comfortable with young and old dogs, and with animals of any different size. I am adaptable to suit your puppy's special needs! I would love to be your new puppy specialist! I have a very flexible schedule and strive to accomodate your needs as easily as possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out and discuss what you require! I am attentive to any animal's needs, and follow your lead in terms of your pet's ideal care, routine, and schedule. I am adaptable and understand the importance of maintaining familiarity for them!

About: If you want a very active person who will walk your dog(s) multiple time’s a day, then I’m your girl! If you want a very affectionate person who will cuddle your dog(s) to death, then I’m your girl! My names Alex, and I have lived in the bow valley for acouple of years now. It’s a nice place but it wouldn’t be the same without our Bestfriends. I figure since I love animals so much I may as well help the community out and be there for whoever is in need of my service. I know how nice it is to travel and get away but the guilt of leaving your pets is shitty. I’ll make sure they have the best time and get lots of cuddles ❣️ Woof x I spend most of my days snowboarding and have most nights of the week off to cuddle and care for my pet friends. I have a fenced in back yard and front yard! Depending on the pets energy level I either take them on a short walk or to the dog park.

About: Pets have always been a part of my life. I have owned 2 large mixed breed rescue dogs and walked many kms with them. Friends & family have left their dogs & cats in my care while on vacation. I work remotely, with flexible hours, and I can take breaks. I love to be outside whenever possible and walking with a dog is always more enjoyable. I am attentive, and patient, and supportive with sensitive pets of any age, and okay with keeping to a schedule. I'm cautious about items that should be kept out of reach of pets.

About: Hi, I'm a 25 year old wildlife conservation graduate from the UK. I currently have lots of free time and am looking for dogs to join me on my walks. I grew up on a smallholding, looking after a wide variety of animals before moving on to study wildlife conservation at university. Part of my degree I studied animal behaviour with lectures and practical lessons on dog training and behaviour. I've grown up with dogs since the age of 5 and am extremely comfortable around any dog. I haven't done this type of work before, however have a great knowledge of Canmore trails and know a wide variety of walks from walking my friends presa canario and my partners rescue dog. I'm very reliable and honest, I will always show up to any booking I have and give my 100% to make your pet loved and enjoy their time. I’m currently not working after a shoulder injury, I have lots of spare time and am available to work around any schedule you need me to I can’t provide boarding at my home. I can provide a service at your home and take on the usual walks and day to day routines your dog is used to, plus any extra walking you’d like.

About: I grew up with my dog, Kiku, from when I was born until I was twelve. I have experience dogsitting on long-term stays (ie., last year I took care of a dog for a month at the owners’ home), and I also have experience administering different forms of oral medication on a schedule to dogs. I have experience with cats too! I helped take care of my former roommates' cat who I lived with for almost two years, and have done plenty of catsitting for friends. I am very active and would love to help walk and take care of dogs. I would be able to walk your dog at least twice a day if I am dogsitting/boarding. Feel free to contact me to check in regarding availability and scheduling! For dog walking services, I aim to take dogs out for at least 30 minutes to ensure that they get enough time to play, and get their bio-breaks! I’m happy to take them on longer hikes or cross country ski adventures as well if your dog is active and likes being outside for longer periods of time. I am happy to accommodate according to your pet's individual needs. I am a very open and positive communicator. I have a hybrid work schedule so can work from home on certain days. I am currently available to petsit in Canmore or Banff over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays (Dec 23-Jan 4). I would be able to arrive on Dec 23 at night or Dec 24 during the day. I have a hybrid work schedule so can work from home on certain days. Please send me a message if you would like to discuss. I’m very conscientious of my clients’ homes, and will make sure to leave your home clean and organized. If there are any particularities about your home, please feel free to let me know.

About: I took a break from Rover due to a busy work schedule but am back and excited to host your doggos! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I love to spend time with awesome dogs by taking them for walks and hikes! All doggy day care includes at least one 5-10km hike/walk or a combination of two 3-5km walks. I have experience with all breeds, particularly working dogs - cattle dogs, Aussie shepherds, border collies. My own dog, and best friend Metsä is an 13 year old blue heeler and I understand the level of activity and mental stimulation working dogs need. Metsä receives a minimum of 2 hours of exercise per day. I am keen to meet new people who have dogs of all breeds who could be new friends for Metsä and me! If you are interested in dog walking and would like to set up a meet and greet ahead of time, this may be possible. When I am not travelling for my job, I work from home full. Metsä and I love having another four legged friend at home to go for a nice hike with. I work from a home office and always have your dog in the room with me during the daytime hours. When we go on a walk and out for bathroom breaks your dog will remain on leash at all times.

About: When I care for someone else’s pet, I treat them the same way I treat my own, with patience, presence and tons of love. I genuinely enjoy being around animals. I believe they deserve to feel safe, seen and understood in their own home, especially when their humans are away. At home in Edmonton, I own my own house and live with my partner, who also owns two properties. I take a lot of pride in keeping my space clean, organized and cozy. I will be out of Edmonton while I complete my practicum for my Master’s in Counselling Psychology in Canmore. I’m quiet, responsible, and not into partying or smoking. When I house sit, I approach it with full respect for the trust you’re placing in me. I’ll leave your home just as you left it and your pets feeling loved, as well as well cared for. I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I shared my life with both a cat and a dog and that early bond with animals stuck with me. I’ve cared for a husky, Akila. Currently my partner and I have a loving pit bull named Titus. Loving them has deepened my appreciation for how sensitive, attuned and emotionally intelligent animals can be. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I build my days around giving animals the time and attention they need. Whether it’s morning walks, mid-day play breaks, or evening cuddles, I make sure pets are cared for at a pace that feels calm and consistent. I have the flexibility to adjust my schedule so your pet’s needs come first. This means regular potty breaks, exercise, mealtimes, and plenty of affection fit seamlessly into my day. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority. I take the time to learn your routines, preferences, and any special instructions so your furry family member feels comfortable and cared for. In your home, I keep things consistent: feeding, walks, and snuggle time happen just the way you do them. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I double-check water, food, and medications so nothing is missed.

Tereza was absolutely amazing! We were in town celebrating my birthday, and while my family had planned a dinner, we couldn’t leave our senior dog alone in the hotel. Our old pup is quite particular and, with his age, has developed separation anxiety. He only tolerates a few people, so we were a bit concerned. Tereza immediately put us at ease. She took him for many sniffing walks, and despite his dramatic protests, she was even able to put his little socks on his feet to protect his pressure sores. Only mom and grandma have been allowed to do that before! I was so grateful for the photos she sent throughout the evening, which really reassured us that he was in good hands. To my surprise, he was completely content and didn’t mind being left with her at all! Thanks to Tereza, we were able to enjoy our dinner, knowing our Buddy was well cared for. Highly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care!
