1. Nancy R.
About: Hi there, I grew up with cats and dogs and now I am a dog mama of three dogs. I absolutely love spending time with doggos. Two of them are rescues and one is a bit reactive so have bit of experience with that. Have worked with trainers for my own dogs . I am currently not working so have quite a bit of flexibility. I am able to care for your pets and stay at your home no problem! Cuddles, walks, play & mental stimulation. I am a small person so no reactive dogs over 50 lbs for everyone’s safety. Contact me if you need help while you travel.
2. Mary P.
“We hired Mary to stay at our place for the day of our wedding. Mary came for a meet and greet at our place a few weeks before she would be staying and right away we felt comfortable with trusting her. Although our Dog Bear is always a bit weary towards new people, we felt confident he was in good hands. We also have a pet Rabbit and Mary helped out with him as well which was greatly appreciated. Mary sent photos and was very easy to communicate with anytime we needed. Turned out Mary had left with our doggie bags and messaged us the following day and brought them back to us. We would 100% recommend her😁”
3. Gemma & Alasdair B.
“Gemma was great with our Murphy. He is prone to separation anxiety but she handled it perfectly with a long walk and other distractions. Our dinner plans changed mid-evening but she was able to extend an extra hour which really helped. Booking was super easy and she was very flexible as we finalized our plans.”
4. Trinity C.
“If you're looking for a housesitter, Trinity is your girl. I came home to not only happy animals, but a home so clean it looked like a showroom (I'm serious!). I was really impressed with how affectionate our skiddish wolfhound was as she typically doesn't take to new people well, but they were inseparable. I wish Trinity was still in Australia to care for our animals, thanks for everything Trinity!”
5. Dana p.
“Dana is one of the most caring, responsible people I know. My pets love her. The care and affection she exhibits when interacting with animals (and people) is exceptional. There's no one I would trust the welfare of my pets to more than Dana. She's thoughtful, and kind, and animals respond well to her.”
6. Shona F.
About: Hi, I’m Shona! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was just 9 years old, starting with my neighbor’s dog and getting my own at 10. I had my beloved dog, Cody, for 17 wonderful years before he sadly passed away last October. I miss him dearly, and I’m excited to care for your pet with the same love and dedication I showed him. I’ve continued to care for dogs through family, friends, and neighbors, gaining experience with both puppies and senior dogs. Having lived in the Bow Valley for several years, I’m familiar with the area and eager to explore it with your furry friend! I have access to a vehicle, making travel easy and convenient. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! :) Pet care is a natural fit in my daily routine, as I’m flexible and available to work all days of the week. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening cuddles, I’m committed to ensuring that pets receive the attention and care they need. I prioritize their well-being and enjoyment, seamlessly incorporating pet care into my schedule to create a nurturing environment for them. I care for pets primarily in their own homes, as I don’t have the capacity to watch them at my own place. When I visit a client’s home, I ensure that their pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I follow the owner’s specific routines, such as feeding schedules, walking times, and play preferences. I focus on providing companionship, exercise, and any necessary care to keep their pets happy and healthy. Communication is key, so I keep owners updated on their pet’s well-being throughout my visits.
7. Molly M.
“Molly was great! Very accommodating and great with Oliver!”
8. Sarah P.
“Sarah was so accommodating and made me feel so much better with leaving my little girl at the hotel while I went snowboarding. She even came in super late a couple nights before today because I wasn’t able to get back to the hotel when I was supposed to! I will be having her watch my dog/dogs again next time I visit! Thank you so much! ❤️”
9. Tereza V.
“Tereza was wonderful! I had my wedding out in banff and needed a dog sitter just while we were out for dinner. Tereza agreed to do a meet and greet with us to make sure my doggy was comfortable with her. She sent me updates right away when I asked and took her for a great walk as well. Lacey loved hanging out with Tereza, would definitely ask her to doggy sit again if we ever needed her :)”
10. Laura V.
“Loz (this is how we call Laura) is the best dog's buddy. She is really friendly and fun. I walked several dogs with her watching her being super patient but also fun and playful at the same time. I can highly recommend her as a dog walker/sitter.”
11. Bradon K.
“Brandon was excellent. Lots of pics on their trail walk. Nice guy, pups took him right away. Treated our accomodations with respect. Would fully recommend.”
12. Andrew G.
“Good guy. Good with the pups. Everything was as we left it in the home. Would get again.”
13. Macy V.
“Macy was fantastic and really saved our getaway in Banff! The dog sitter the hotel had arranged fell through last minute so we reached out to Macy. She arrived super fast to look after our two pups at the hotel. Took them for walks, sent us cute pictures. Next time we come through Banff we won't hesitate to reach out to Macy.”
14. Jack D.
“I can't recommend Jack enough as a dog walker! He’s a true animal lover and has a natural ability to connect with dogs, no matter their size or personality. Jack is calm, patient, and really takes the time to make sure each dog feels comfortable and happy during their walk. Whether it’s a casual stroll or a high-energy run, he’s great at adjusting to what each dog needs. He’s dependable and trustworthy, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the pets he looks after. Your dog will be in great hands with Jack!”
15. Alex K.
About: Hi! My name is Alex, I’m 24 and I have looked after & lived with dogs since the age of 6. I have had two family dogs including a Border Collie and Italian Spinone, I am from the countryside in Wales and as a result have spent a lot of my life around animals, particularly farm dogs & many varieties of personal owned breeds. I have house sat a number of dogs in Wales previously, as well as caring for and more recently helping to train our most recent family dog Hatti the Italian Spinone (as seen in my profile picture). I thoroughly enjoy spending time with dogs, and since being in Canada I have been missing the company of a household pet, and so would like the opportunity to spend some time with some locals to help the blues! I work full-time 4 days a week in Banff (Fri-Mon) and I am available for full day-care/house sits Tues-Thur only, but am available for walks every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and every other day after 4:30pm. Inside my home I have a large dining room and spacious lounge area, with plenty of space for your pet to not feel cramped up inside. Outside I have a medium sized fenced yard, with space to play or relax as needed. I am happy to take your dog on walks during the day/evenings, please let me know if there are preferences (e.g. no off-leash dog parks, small walks only etc).
16. Jack B.
“Jack worked for me for 2.5 years and he was a pleasure to work with. He is a hard worker and one of the kindest people I know. I have a blue staffy named Leo, Leo and Jack were the best of mates and consistently reminded me to fill up my own dogs water bowl. I couldnt think of a better person to be a pet car giver. When me and my wife went away on trips that Leo couldn't come too Jack was always first to put his hand up to look after our dog.”
17. Emma W.
“Emma did a great job taking care of our two pups while we were away. Lots of walks and picture updates so I knew they were well taken care of. Would definitely book with Emma again!”
18. Jillian R.
“Jillian is the original dog whisperer. She is so loving and caring with all animals but especially dogs. She definitely was a corgi in another life and a collie in this one. I sometimes joke about flying her across the country to come babysit my dogs again but I'm also serious. Only problem is when she comes my dogs love her more than me. Love you Jilly Bean! Xo”
