Dog Walkers in Banff

About: Experienced dog-sitter from London, UK. Served two clients loyally for 3.5yrs, looking after their dogs and taking them on day-trip adventures and holidays. Have provided a variety of one-off care for multiple other clients. My husband & I have recently moved to Banff and we are missing our doggo-time! We would love a furry friend to help keep us company. My husband & I both work at Mount Norquay. We predominantly work on weekends however our availability will be variable and flexible each week. We lead active lifestyles, but also love relaxing at home. Our home is pet-friendly, having been curated for a curious pug (no longer resident here). We have a combination of carpet and hardwood floor depending on your furry friend's preferences. We would be happy to lay down additional rugs if required. Our garden is fenced. We have internal and external stairs.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love being around them! Have trained and walked family dogs my whole life as well as friends and extended family! I have lived in Banff for almost 4 years so I know many of the trails around town by heart and know the best places to walk dogs! I’m currently working part time in the bow valley so I will have lots of time to play with your pets! I am a very active person so walking dogs is perfect to me as I already do it almost every day! In my house I often play with my boyfriend’s dog and teach him new tricks as well as give him lots of snuggles! I would plan to do the same with your pet!

About: I've been lucky enough to be around animals for most of my life. It started with raising my own black Labrador since she was a pup (who grew up to be an absolute angel!). I since went on to work in various animal care establishments including dog kennels, veterinary practices, a grooming salon, and also pet sitting. Currently, I work part-time at a doggy daycare centre in Banff (Cooper's Dog Cabin), so I love being round dogs all day! I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes as well as taking care of puppies and senior dogs. Prior to this - when I lived in the UK - I worked as a pet sitter alongside my main job. Safe to say, I absolutely LOVE animals and would be delighted to help care for your pets! I also have plenty of experience with cat sitting and house sitting, so please feel free to contact me for whatever your pet care needs are! My main availability during the week is late afternoon/evenings, and weekends can vary depending on my work schedule. However, I am very experienced with taking care of pets and house sitting for clients, and always will put the safety and happiness of your pup/cat/animal first! I also understand the importance of paying close attention to any medical needs, allergies, and behavioural notes. I also like to send clients daily photo/video updates, as I want to make sure you have peace of mind during your pet's stay! I also know extra special care is needed for our younger pups/kittens and senior dogs/cats, so rest assured they will be well taken care of!

About: I’ve been around animals since I was very young.Being around animals is when I’m most happy and now have a golden and a two cats of my own! I have my first aid training for pets, can administer certain medications and volunteer at multiple different animal rescues which not only has allowed me to give back but also gain incredible skills at handling all sorts of animals! I have experience with different pet personalities, sizes, behaviour etc. Our time can either be spent lazing around the house and snuggling or going on amazing adventures here in the mountains! If it says I am available that date , it means I am at home all day/night so your pup will not be left alone. I have a golden retriever and two cats in my home which are all trained and incredibly friendly. I have two dog parks at walking distance of my home and a stream for swimming in the summer. I have a safe environment for pets to roam free inside , but also have an XL crate and a medium crate if owner prefers, or if in process of crate training. Pets are always fed separately and have cameras in my home if I do need to step out of the house or if a pet is at home while I work. My priority is to make your pet feel comfortable and be safe , but also have fun!

About: I’ve grown up my whole life around animals, as my mom is a vet technician. I love being able to take dogs for long walks and play with them. I am very attentive and have good time management aswell as very caring. I am pretty flexible as a university student after and before classes. I am available everyday after 4 pm and everyday before 11 am to walk your cute fur babies! I am a very honest, caring and trustworthy person. I am here to take care of your pets and get them the exercise they need.

About: I’ve taken care of my friends dogs and cats ever since I was around 12. I love all animals and I think they’re a gift to this world! I’ve dogsat while traveling as well which has been very nice since I can’t quite get my own dog yet until I’m settled down. I’m working in Banff full time as a server so I’m able to provide care to your dog or cat either before or after my shifts :) I will treat your home and pets with respect. I love giving dogs loads of attention so they will never be bored but if they need their space I can also give them that!

About: I love animals!! I studied animal care at college and have always had dogs in my family! I’m always offering to look after doggy friends & go walks! I’d love to have a dog myself but my partner but it’s not feesable for us right now. I’m very caring and loving, but also very encouraging for training and happy to follow any requirements needed for your dog. I don’t like seeing people pull their dogs around on leashes, It really upsets me, so I like to be as patient as possible, allowing them to sniff and interact with the environment around! I’m also a big soppy cuddler!! I work full time although hours are reduced due to the pandemic. I don’t have a set schedule but would love to look after doggies before/after and on days off, I’m very flexible! I have a few friends with dogs that would love puppy play days, or if you’re comfortable with your dog going to the dog park, otherwise long walks are my jam 😁 I have a small fenced backyard so your fur baby can play happily outside! Big lounge space indoors for chilling out and a big downstairs for relaxing too! There are no hazards in the home, doors are shut/locked (that need to be), attaching a leash on before we leave the house and following rules/training as needed!

My sidekick was my blue heeler “Bear” I love providing one on one attention to dogs I spend time with. I’ve become the favourite doggo aunty to all of the dogs I have sat for and I’ve been asked back over and over again. I have a very flexible work from home schedule so I can be available for your doggo days, eves and on weekends for walks and sits. I have experience with prong collars and ecollars, if needed.. I currently only work a few hours per week from home. So I have a very flexible schedule. I can be available any time between 9am and 7pm most days. I would be walking your dog solo so they get my undivided attention. I am used to avoiding dog parks and situations that could trigger a dog on their walks.

About: Hello, Cooper and Mark here! Hoping to make best friends with your pet! We specialize in 1 pet family at a time so your loved ones can get all our attention! We love to walk, mild hikes, car rides and just to relax in the comfort of a nice big backyard or just watch tv. One of us also works from home so we’ll always be around and is also a night owl. We’re open for just about anything and have raised dogs, cats and other pets though-out our lives. From potty training, crate training, and providing different medications to more special needs such as eye drops, or full on blindness. At our home we are okay with pets on our furniture, or sleeping in our bed. We also provide a big yard with different types of turf - rocks, grass etc to make your pet feel comfortable. We also are surrounded by parks and nature trials which makes it easy for us to go on whatever activity your fluffy companion needs! One of us works from home, and we can go walking loads so having any dog would be a perfect fit for us as we can provide the correct amount of attention. We also can do house sitting/lodging for extended periods of time or just have a more chill time with your fluffy friend by just watching tv or cuddling. We have a fenced yard, decent size for running plus within walking distance of great paths and dog parks! Home is smoke free and pets are allowed on furniture and in our bed.

About: I have been in love with dogs since I was a young girl. I graduated from college with an Animal Care certificate. I have experience as an Animal Care Attendant at Bow Valley SPCA and a vet clinic. I feed the animals and exercise them outside. I clean there pens and make sure to give them any medication they require. Back home in Ontario I give my family dogs baths and groom them as well. I am currently working four days a week but that won’t stop me from watching your doggies. I would love the chance to take care of your dogs when I am free! I will gladly send you pictures and videos of your dogs when you are away to keep you updated! I will always play with your dogs and cuddle with them as well:) I have been missing my dogs back home so I also appreciate photos of my dogs and know how much it means.
