“Tereza was fantastic. I came home to 2 very happy little dogs, she agreed to a meet and greet with me the day before to get to know the dogs and their little quirks. Will definitely love to have her help again.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting, dog walking, and cat sitting in the Bow Valley for the past 3 years! I grew up with both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I love spending time outdoors and going on adventures! I’m reliable, respectful of your pet’s routine, and always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently working in the service industry! I usually work 4–5 times a week, and my shifts are typically 4–5 hours long. I’m also happy to take some days off work to hang out with your pups if needed. I treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, ensuring everything stays safe and comfortable. I can easily follow your pet’s routine, from feeding and walks to playtime and cuddles, so they feel happy and secure while you’re away. I also enjoy providing regular updates, photos, and feedback so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands!
About: I’ve grown up my whole life around animals, as my mom is a vet technician. I love being able to take dogs for long walks and play with them. I am very attentive and have good time management aswell as very caring. I am pretty flexible as a university student after and before classes. I am available everyday after 4 pm and everyday before 11 am to walk your cute fur babies! I am a very honest, caring and trustworthy person. I am here to take care of your pets and get them the exercise they need.
“Michelle is incredible! Monty was so happy to spend time with her each day! She is a fabulous communicator and sent updates(fantastic pictures). Her local knowledge of the area gave Monty a great workout with beautiful views. Highly recommend Michelle!”

About: I’ve taken care of my friends dogs and cats ever since I was around 12. I love all animals and I think they’re a gift to this world! I’ve dogsat while traveling as well which has been very nice since I can’t quite get my own dog yet until I’m settled down. I’m working in Banff full time as a server so I’m able to provide care to your dog or cat either before or after my shifts :) I will treat your home and pets with respect. I love giving dogs loads of attention so they will never be bored but if they need their space I can also give them that!
About: Aussie in Banff with lifelong dog experience. Gentle with senior care and patient with puppies, reliable and attentive. Morning availability, outdoorsy, and treat every pet like my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I work afternoons and evenings, so I’m free most mornings. Active, reliable, and consistent, ensuring attentive care for every pet. I follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, and care instructions. I’m respectful in clients’ homes, keep pets comfortable, and provide consistent attention and updates.
“Kathleen did a great job. She was flexible about picking up our dogs in our RV, and took them on a long walk. The pics showed them rolling on their backs which tells me they were really comfortable around her.”

“Victoria was amazing with Scout! Quick to respond to my last minute booking and Scout came home happy and tired and had a new friend in Metsä. Will definitely book Victoria’s dog walking services again.”
About: Please see some of my reviews in my photos. I’ve been an avid animal lover my entire life. I was born on a ranch and my first babysitter was my loyal Appaloosa “Appy”. My sidekick was my blue heeler “Bear” I love providing one on one attention to dogs I spend time with. I’ve become the favourite doggo aunty to all of the dogs I have sat for and I’ve been asked back over and over again. I have a very flexible work from home schedule so I can be available for your doggo days, eves and on weekends for walks and sits. I am happy to schedule a meet up to learn safety measures, feeding schedules and walking schedules in your home for your dog (s). I believe dog’s are most comfortable in their own surroundings when they have new faces caring for them.
About: I have been in love with dogs since I was a young girl. I graduated from college with an Animal Care certificate. I have experience as an Animal Care Attendant at Bow Valley SPCA and a vet clinic. I feed the animals and exercise them outside. I clean there pens and make sure to give them any medication they require. Back home in Ontario I give my family dogs baths and groom them as well. I am currently working four days a week but that won’t stop me from watching your doggies. I would love the chance to take care of your dogs when I am free! I will gladly send you pictures and videos of your dogs when you are away to keep you updated! I will always play with your dogs and cuddle with them as well:) I have been missing my dogs back home so I also appreciate photos of my dogs and know how much it means.
“Lyndsie was available on very short notice and was familiar with the area where my dogs love to walk. She sent a video of them playing in the river. My dogs came home happy and tired! I recommend her to anyone with high energy dogs!”

Jingxi was absolutely wonderful! Koda was so excited and happy to meet her right from the start. I was a bit anxious, but she kept me updated with pictures and the walking route during the walk, which gave me total peace of mind. I highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Koda!

Tess was amazing and highly recommended. We decided to bring our dog on a family vacation to Banff and Tess made the experience very enjoyable. She walked our dog while we could enjoy a nice supper. Tess was very accommodating with the booking since we were trying to book between restaurant reservations.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Banff choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
