About: I’ve been dog sitting, dog walking, and cat sitting in the Bow Valley for the past 3 years! I grew up with both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I love spending time outdoors and going on adventures! I’m reliable, respectful of your pet’s routine, and always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently working in the service industry! I usually work 4–5 times a week, and my shifts are typically 4–5 hours long. I’m also happy to take some days off work to hang out with your pups if needed. I treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, ensuring everything stays safe and comfortable. I can easily follow your pet’s routine, from feeding and walks to playtime and cuddles, so they feel happy and secure while you’re away. About: I have been in love with dogs since I was a young girl. I graduated from college with an Animal Care certificate. I have experience as an Animal Care Attendant at Bow Valley SPCA and a vet clinic. I feed the animals and exercise them outside. I clean there pens and make sure to give them any medication they require. Back home in Ontario I give my family dogs baths and groom them as well. I am currently working four days a week but that won’t stop me from watching your doggies. I would love the chance to take care of your dogs when I am free! I will gladly send you pictures and videos of your dogs when you are away to keep you updated! I will always play with your dogs and cuddle with them as well:) I have been missing my dogs back home so I also appreciate photos of my dogs and know how much it means.

About: Hi! I’m Hannah, a 26 year old Canadian living out in Banff National Park for the past 4 years. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always felt like second nature to me. Back in high school I started working in dog daycares through a co-op program, and quickly realized this was exactly what I wanted to do. From 2016–2022, I worked in different dog daycare and care centres across Ontario, gaining over 5 years of hands on experience working with dogs of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I want both pets and owners to feel comfortable and confident knowing they’re in good hands. I service the Banff and Lake Louise areas. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and giving them all the love and attention they’re used to at home! Warmly, Hannah Pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I work a regular 9–5 job from during the week, but my evenings are usually pretty quiet, which gives me lots of time to dedicate to pet care, walks, playtime, and keeping pets company. Living in Banff also means I already spend a lot of time outdoors and staying active, so caring for dogs fits perfectly into my lifestyle. I am unable to provide pet care in my own home, but I can travel to the client’s home to care for their pets. I offer services such as dog walking, outdoor exercise, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love while the pet remains comfortable in their own environment or outdoors! :)

About: My love for animals, particularly dogs and cats, is a fundamental part of who I am. I have been a proud dachshund owner for the past 5 years, and it has been the best experience of my life. I have always been known in my family as an animal lover, and nothing brings me more joy than spending quality time with animals and ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well taken care of. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have regularly pet-sat for friends and family, including experience with looking after three dogs at the same time. I also used to work at a farm, where I had the opportunity to care for a variety of animals, including chickens, ducks, rabbits, emus, cows, and horses. My deep love for animals of all kinds drives me to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for when being watched or walked by me. I begin work at the Banff Gondola on March 11th, so until then, I will be free to spend time with and care for your furry friends anytime! However, once I begin work, I would still be more than happy to take care of your pets on my days off or in the evenings after work. I will update my schedule with specific times I will be free once I begin my job. I understand how nerve-racking it can be to trust others with the care and safety of your beloved pets). As a pet owner who has struggled to feel comfortable allowing others to care for my pet, I understand and prioritize the safety and care of your pet because I want you not to feel stressed and to be able to relax and trust that your pet is in good hands. At my home, I have a small fenced-in backyard where your animals can relax in the sun or get some fresh air. But, if I am at your home, it will be important to me to learn and understand exactly how you make sure your pet is let outside/walked safely and to make sure they are being watched at all times, as well as follow any instructions you have when walking your pet, for example, if you prefer your pet to be walked in an area that avoids other animals, or if you do not want your pet being touched or approached. I also prefer to walk pets on a leash to ensure they are safe and with me while in my care.

About: Hi folks! I’m very lucky to have a lot of experience taking care of pets—I've had my own cats and dogs, and I've also looked after some amazing and quirky farm animals! Over the years, I’ve done plenty of pet and house sitting for others (friends, family, and lots of pet-sitting website users), so I’m used to keeping pets happy and making sure everything runs smoothly while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and always make sure they’re well cared for and loved. *please note I do not offer pet-sitting in my own home, as I have a cat who isn’t a fan of other animals! **I also usually require at least 48 hours notice to book pet-sitting and dog walks, as I have a very packed schedule! I work part-time in town and am usually pretty available Monday-Friday. I’m flexible and can fit in some dog walks almost daily, but the times may vary depending on the time of year! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to stick to their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. For dogs, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, whether it’s walks, playtime, or backyard runs. I also give them regular meals, fresh water, and lots of attention. For cats, I stick to their feeding schedule, keep their litter boxes clean, and offer playtime to keep them engaged. I treat each pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of affection and monitoring their well-being while their owners are away. For dog walks, I’m always on the lookout for potential hazards and making sure lots of energy is expelled! Maybe a trip to the dog park if appropriate, or a good long walk along the river or up Buffalo Mountain. Happiness, exercise, and good health are the goals, for both the dogs and me!

About: If you want a very active person who will walk your dog(s) multiple time’s a day, then I’m your girl! If you want a very affectionate person who will cuddle your dog(s) to death, then I’m your girl! My names Alex, and I have lived in the bow valley for acouple of years now. It’s a nice place but it wouldn’t be the same without our Bestfriends. I figure since I love animals so much I may as well help the community out and be there for whoever is in need of my service. I know how nice it is to travel and get away but the guilt of leaving your pets is shitty. I’ll make sure they have the best time and get lots of cuddles ❣️ Woof x I spend most of my days snowboarding and have most nights of the week off to cuddle and care for my pet friends. I have a fenced in back yard and front yard! Depending on the pets energy level I either take them on a short walk or to the dog park.

About: I’ve taken care of my friends dogs and cats ever since I was around 12. I love all animals and I think they’re a gift to this world! I’ve dogsat while traveling as well which has been very nice since I can’t quite get my own dog yet until I’m settled down. I’m working in Banff full time as a server so I’m able to provide care to your dog or cat either before or after my shifts :) I will treat your home and pets with respect. I love giving dogs loads of attention so they will never be bored but if they need their space I can also give them that!

About: Looking for a doggy daycare that doubles as an outdoor adventure? I’m your sitter! If you want your dog to return home happy, tired and thoroughly fulfilled, you’ve found the right spot. I work from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize outdoor time. Every single daycare stay includes at least one 5–10km hike (or if requested, trail run), or a split routine of two 3–5km walks. I have experience with all breeds, but I specialize in high-energy working dogs (Cattle Dogs, Aussies, and Border Collies). My own best friend Metsä, is a 14-year-old Blue Heeler, so I deeply understand the physical exercise and mental stimulation these breeds need to stay happy. Metsä gets a minimum of 2 hours of outdoor time a day, and I can't wait to meet some new friends and hit the trails together! When I am not travelling for my job, I work from home full. Metsä and I love having another four legged friend at home to go for a nice hike with. I work from a home office and always have your dog in the room with me during the daytime hours. When we go on a walk and out for bathroom breaks your dog will remain on leash at all times.

My sidekick was my blue heeler “Bear” I love providing one on one attention to dogs I spend time with. I’ve become the favourite doggo aunty to all of the dogs I have sat for and I’ve been asked back over and over again. I have a very flexible work from home schedule so I can be available for your doggo days, eves and on weekends for walks and sits.
