About: I have LOVED dogs since I was a child, growing up with a loyal German Shepherd, and a goofy Black Lab. That love of dogs has never left but I have not owned a dog as an adult due to work and travel, but the right time is slowly coming closer for me! I am currently volunteering at the CAHS as a dog walker and I absolutely love it! It's also been great experience handling dogs with a wide range of personalities. Last year, my partner and I dog-sat for friends in their apartment for a few months while they were out of the country. While this dog did have some behavioural issues, it was a very rewarding experience for us to have a dog in our daily lives again and we learned a lot along the way I'm currently not working and my partner is away for the summer so I would love to fill some of my time walking and doggy-sitting. Petsitting/House Sitting (In Your Home): 9 years ago, as a family we started petsitting internationally - we have petsit in 13 countries and cared for more than 120 family pets. I work online, remotely so I am at home virtually all day to care for your pets allowing them to keep their exact happy and stress-free routines while you are away. Boarding / Daycare (at my home): I'm home all day so your furbabies get lots of attention. I have a small backyard so lots of play and frequent potty breaks. Weather dependent they will get a walk down along the river or one of the dog parks. Local neighborhood walks are also provided. We are full-on animal lovers and they can choose where they want to hang. They are allowed on furniture, beds and can choose who to sleep with. Because I'm home all day, your pets can keep their normal routines for walks, feeding and medications. I am comfortable providing injections or pills. We do have 2 cats that allow us to live full-time with them. One of them is skittish and will most likely hide until she gets to know new fur-friends. The other one thinks everyone is his friend and especially loves dogs. We will initially keep the cats (mine) in a bedroom until they all feel comfortable with each other. If it's other cats coming into our home we will rotate the living space until they are all comfortable with each other. We've done this a lot....our cats are used to other animals coming and going. In-Home Visits/Dog Walking: When it comes to home visits and dog walks, I am flexible and available to meet your furbabies needs and schedules. My standard overnight house sitting rate includes time spent away from the home for up to 5–6 hours per day to accommodate other work and commitments. For pets that require more consistent supervision, I offer a Continuous Care option. This service limits time away from the home to a maximum of 2 hours per day and is priced at 2× my standard daily rate. For example, if my base rate is $50/day for the first pet and $20/day for a second pet, the Continuous Care rate would be $100/day and $40/day respectively. I work from home, so I am extremely flexible with schedules. I am available 7 days a week, and offer dog walking from 6am to 9pm daily. If your pets are boarding at our home, late-night potty breaks past 9pm are provided. I offer overnight petsitting in your home. Your pets get to remain comfortable in their own home environment and maintain their schedules they are used to. Pets who are able to stay in their own home are more stress-free and happy when they are in their familiar and trusted environments, we simply come in and replicate your schedule. In home visits for dog walking and cat visits include a basic home check to ensure your home's security. I will walk your dog(s) for specified durations, play with your dogs and cats, scoop litter, refresh water bowls and feed according to instructions. Lots of love, attention, belly rubs and play. (I may sometimes have my 18yo daughter assist - if I do, she will come for a meet and greet with you as well). We work hard to gain your pets trust. We've had many tell us their pets are shy or anti-social and within hours/days the pets are sitting with us watching TV to the pets looking for us days after we've left. We promise your furbabies will be loved and spoiled with attention.

We would love a furry friend to help keep us company. I am taking a career break whilst my husband works as a mountain guide in the Rockies. We lead active lifestyles, but also love relaxing at home. Our building is pet-friendly, and we have a mini dog park outside. We have hard flooring throughout our flat but we would be happy to lay down additional rugs if required, depending on your pet's preferences. We don't have any stairs.

Their countryside property is beautiful and perfectly suited for our pups, and provided a familiar setting for them. Reina & Justin themselves are incredibly kind folks and gave us great peace of mind. They also seem to be very knowledgeable with dog handling, and gave great communications during the days that we were away. Even though our dogs are not perfect all the time and have one or two behavioural quirks we felt that the dogs were left in caring capable hands! We will definitely be return customers”
About: Looking for a doggy daycare that doubles as an outdoor adventure? I’m your sitter! If you want your dog to return home happy, tired and thoroughly fulfilled, you’ve found the right spot. I work from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize outdoor time. Every single daycare stay includes at least one 5–10km hike (or if requested, trail run), or a split routine of two 3–5km walks. I have experience with all breeds, but I specialize in high-energy working dogs (Cattle Dogs, Aussies, and Border Collies). My own best friend Metsä, is a 14-year-old Blue Heeler, so I deeply understand the physical exercise and mental stimulation these breeds need to stay happy. Metsä gets a minimum of 2 hours of outdoor time a day, and I can't wait to meet some new friends and hit the trails together! When I am not travelling for my job, I work from home full. Metsä and I love having another four legged friend at home to go for a nice hike with. I work from a home office and always have your dog in the room with me during the daytime hours. When we go on a walk and out for bathroom breaks your dog will remain on leash at all times.

About: I grew up with a dog and have always loved being around them. As an adult, I’ve often looked after my parents’ dogs when they were away, so I’m very comfortable with walks, routines, feeding, and all the day-to-day care that comes with them. More recently, our family has become a bit of a cat family too — we have two cats at home now and have really enjoyed learning their different personalities and routines. We also have two kids who love animals and have grown up around pets. They're used to being around cats and dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether it’s dogs or cats, I treat every pet like they’re part of the family and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Pet care fits really easily into my daily routine. I work part-time outside the home, and the rest of the time I’m home, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m usually available in the mornings for walks or check-ins, and again in the afternoons and evenings for additional visits or care as needed. I’m good at building things into my day and making sure pets get consistent attention and care. When caring for pets in my home, we have a fenced yard for outdoor time and play. We do have two cats, but they can be kept separate from dogs in another part of the house so everyone stays comfortable. For dogs staying with us, I would prefer they are crate trained for sleeping and for times when I’m not home, just to keep things safe and low-stress for everyone. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow instructions closely so your pet stays on their normal schedule as much as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, litter or clean-up as needed, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own environment. I also make sure your home is left tidy and everything is how you left it.
About: I started taking care of pets 30 years ago with my first dog an all black long haired German Shepherd & my first cat a tabby stray we brought in & named Tiger. I work from home & go for walks every lunch hour & after work so I would love to take your pup with me! It would also be nice to have the company of a pet if you need daytime care. Available most weeks for overnight care. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have a park close by which I like to walk to or along the river. Backyard is not fenced.
