About: I've been a dog owner since the age of 10 and have experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I enjoy staying active and love taking dogs on walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures. I'm currently completing a master's program at the University of Alberta, which gives me flexibility during the day for walks, drop-ins and pet care. My evenings and weekends are also open and I love spending time walking around the river valley. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow your routines closely to ensure consistency and minimize stress. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is to create a dependable, active and enjoyable care for your furry family.

About: I’ve grown up my whole life with two dogs, big and small, so I know just how important your furry friends are. Since I was 10 years old i’ve taken care of all types of dogs, and I am comfortable providing any type of care. I am a huge animal lover and have had much experience taking care of cats, rabbits, and even reptiles! I am currently in school studying a major in Biology and a minor in Zoology with hopes to spend much of my time around animals. As a dedicated student and lifelong animal enthusiast, I provide attentive, trustworthy care for your furry friends while you’re away. I am more than comfortable house/dog sitting over multiple nights and would love to have a companion in the house! Before caring for your pet, I will hope to be made aware of any special care necessary so I can be prepared and care for your pet in the best way possible. I am currently a student athlete on my summer break. This means that most of my time is spent working full time. I have a very consistent schedule working Sunday-Thursday with some odd times, either starting later in the day or ending earlier in the day. With that, I would plan to discuss my schedule with you in detail so that there is full understanding on when I will be around for overnight care etc. I am always open to discuss the best times needed for a walk around the block with your furry friend and am always available for over night stay, even working weekly. With that in mind, the amount of time your pet is able to stay alone will be the most important question before I am able to provide my care. I have a fenced yard and a lovely german shepherd to keep your fur baby company. There is no crate, but am able to bring one into my home so your dog can sleep peacefully.

About: I have a huge passion for dogs and taking care of their needs! I grew up with a boxer and an old English bulldog. I raised them from puppies and gave them the best home possible! I have helped many of my friends with their dogs, I have stayed in house for people watching their pets and dogs while they were away. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through dog walking, overnight stays, and pet sitting. One of the first puppies I ever pet sat for is a dog I still care for years later, which has allowed me to build a strong relationship with both the dog and owner over time. Last summer, I started doing overnight stays for two dogs and gained experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, companionship, and keeping dogs comfortable in their home environment while their owners are away. What sets me apart is that I genuinely love spending time with animals and always try to make dogs feel safe, cared for, and treated like family. I’m patient, reliable, attentive, and understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits well into my schedule alongside my two part-time jobs. I work at a golf course in Bragg Creek and also do housekeeping and laundry at a hotel in Cochrane. My shifts vary, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I’m good at planning my schedule ahead of time to make sure pets get the attention, care, and consistency they need while their owners are away. I currently provide pet care in my client’s home, where pets are usually most comfortable and able to stay in their normal routine and environment. At this time, I’m unable to offer boarding in my own home, as the people I’m currently staying with do not allow pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible through feeding schedules, walks, playtime, companionship, and overnight care when needed. I always try to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment and treat both the pets and the home with respect and care.

About: I started taking care of pets 30 years ago with my first dog an all black long haired German Shepherd & my first cat a tabby stray we brought in & named Tiger. I work from home & go for walks every lunch hour & after work so I would love to take your pup with me! It would also be nice to have the company of a pet if you need daytime care. Available most weeks for overnight care. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have a park close by which I like to walk to or along the river. Backyard is not fenced.

About: My name is Julie, We have our golden boy Jasper, who is a goldendoodle and is two and a haft year, He is neutered and is such a friendly pup and loves to have friends for day care :) But he stays at home if I’m needed to drop in or walk your pups, dogs, cats… hey I use to walk my cat in NS haha I’m here for it all and always challenge my self to new and def opportunities as well as I rise to any challenge that comes my way. I’ve been working on my new skills with grooming our own dog every second visit from the groomers in town and would be able to do some free trimming while taking care of your pet if needed no problem with request as I’d need to bring my tools unless there staying for the day care and after have had met you furr friends a few times before hand for your pets to become more comfortable with me first :) I have also recently taken a dog behaviour and training course and doggy chef course and can train your pet during my visits or our walks. Until then I look forward of meeting your furr friends and your self and taking good care of your pets for you as I have my own and know how much love they need and care. I currently work shift at work and can book days off monthly if set ahead of time if requesting for regular booking and have the privilege to as well to manage my own schedule and switch my shifts around if availability is available to accommodate taking care of pets if your going out of town, as my career is quite def then the norm and we just have to follow some rules to do so, but the down side of this is I’m always working holidays, most weekends and the busy time of the year with March break and summer but can also request specific days off of the week a month at a time if clients are weekly or monthly. I always bring our boy to the river off leash and also the ranch trails and carry wild animal spray and have bear spray with me at all time to best protect our selfs but wouldn’t take your pets out unless authorized to do so! I’ve taken pet first aid course online and also bad behaviour course so I can always have fun with your pets with trying to teach them new tricks and helping with some bad habits if needed and also only if I’m told to that it’s okay as well of course. Our morning routine is we walk jasper around the block every morning and to explore the surrounding trails that our amazing neighborhood has to offer, we are a very high energy family and are always on a mission for the next best thing and are very positive people my husband and I :) With some directions of the owner I will make sure your furr baby is loved and not stress and use my techniques from my pet courses and make sure they are happy and can’t wait for our next play date and refresh there water, make sure to lock everything up to keep the stranger danger away so there safe for there owner to come home too. I also carry a pet corrector spray that’s just noise incase there were to have any dispute with any other dogs while walking your pup or if that’s staying with us for a day care as well to make sure that the pets play nicely with each other with our dog Jasper.

In addition I have experience sitting with my friends’s pets. I can walk, feed, bathe and play with your pet with pleasure. Currently I am working from home. I have a very flexible schedule. About: I grew up on a farm, and animals are a part of our lives. Dogs and cats were a part of my life from puppy age to senior age. Usually, the animals on a farm were our playmates when we were children, and they played the role of the family protector. And now I like to do the same for them. I am pretty open. l keep my life simple and do not over-schedule. I like to keep it so that schedules run smoothly for myself and the customers. I work from home and I am in control of my schedule. I make sure I follow the clients directions to keep their animal safe, leashes on when needed, doors closed quickly, gates checked that they are closed. I do my best to make sure they don't eat anything on the ground.,I have 25 years experience with dogs and cats. Love throwing toys for the dog to chase and retrieve. And I have the patience to take it slow with older dogs on walks.

About: I have LOVED dogs since I was a child, growing up with a loyal German Shepherd, and a goofy Black Lab. That love of dogs has never left but I have not owned a dog as an adult due to work and travel, but the right time is slowly coming closer for me! I am currently volunteering at the CAHS as a dog walker and I absolutely love it! It's also been great experience handling dogs with a wide range of personalities. Last year, my partner and I dog-sat for friends in their apartment for a few months while they were out of the country. While this dog did have some behavioural issues, it was a very rewarding experience for us to have a dog in our daily lives again and we learned a lot along the way I'm currently not working and my partner is away for the summer so I would love to fill some of my time walking and doggy-sitting. I would love to take your dog on a hike, trail walk, or to an off leash park. Whatever they enjoy, I'm down for an adventure with your pup! Or we can do belly rubs on the couch, I love that too!! I live in a pet-free/child-free apartment, right across the street from a park for quick, easy potty breaks. I enjoy being outside and can offer multiple walks a day. About us: Madeleine & Logan live together and although they both work full time (often from home), it's not unusual for their schedules to be opposite of each other. That being said, your pooch will almost always have someone home to keep them company. Which means many opportunities for potty breaks, and short walks throughout the day. They live in a pet-friendly apartment complex located close to many trails that lead to designated dog parks and to the river. They are an active couple who love to be outdoors. Between the two of them, your sweet four-legged friend will be in the best of care. They both love dogs and believe that every owner should feel reassured that their pets are being loved and cared for like family, and confident their pets are having fun at the best doggy vacay in town! ⭐Spring 2021, we are introducing our day-hike program! We are offering a service where we take your dog for a day out to the trails for a hike! Our schedules are often opposite of each other so there are always plenty of opportunities to get your dog out and about. We can accommodate any energy level any day of the week! We live in a pet-friendly apartment, but we are close to a great walking path system near both elbow and bow rivers. There are plenty of unofficial off-leash dog parks nearby, in addition to a large off-leash space. We even have access to a private dog run in case your doggo doesn't care to play with other dogs. We also have plenty of experience with dogs that don't play nice, so we're not intimidated by nervous or aggressive behaviour. We just stick to the walking routes that we've identified with fewer triggers.

About: I love being around dogs and taking care of them! I've had a dog my whole life and currently have two. I have lots of experience with animals. I do have a full time job currently however I work from home frequently and can accommodate your schedule. I walk everyday with my dogs and enjoy being active. I live very close to pathways, dog parks, the river etc to ensure your dog gets lots of exercise! My dogs gets along with all other dogs so would love to join in on walks if your dog is good around other dogs as well and likes to play! Absolutely love animals and would treat yours as if they were my own! :) I have two small dogs myself so I am very active with them. I don’t have a backyard so I walk them several times a day. I am able to work from home frequently so I can accommodate any schedule and ensure every pet is getting what they need. I do not have a backyard so I am out walking constantly. I have access to several pathways and rivers near my home. My dogs have a specific feeding schedule so I am use to making sure they eat at a certain time etc.
