“Amira treated Felix like her own and maybe even a little better. Our schedule isnt as regiment and im sure Felix appreciated the attention. We came back to a very happy, well fed and looked after orange cat. Amira was communicative and kept us in the loop with photos and a quick run down of the visit. Her excellent care allowed us to travel with no stress about Felix being at home and we plan on booking with Amira anytime we plan on leaving for a weekend or longer.”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm and was surrounded by many animals who were all pets, as well as I used to work at the pet valu in Cochrane. I have cared for many dogs and cats in my life and I am confident in my abilities to handle any pet that is in my care. I work part time right now so I have plenty of time in my schedule for pet sitting, walking, feeding, etc.. I am excited to get to know and love your pets :) I have fenced yard in the back of my home as well as living across the street from a nature preserve and next to the trails along the river in town
About: I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer with dogs, as well as take care of friends pets and give them all the attention and love they deserve 🥰 I am currently working part time and in university, I would love to drop by to care for your pets between classes or stay over throughout the week if your animal needs overnight care. I enjoy keeping pets company throughout the time. Whether it’s during study time, on walks, playing together, or giving them extra cuddles and enrichment after a long day.
“Deb is fantastic and we will definitely use her services again in the future! She sent us many photo’s and updates and even made an extra visit. You can tell right away she is great with animals. My cats would say ‘she is great at remembering where the treats are and very friendly even when one of us is grumpy!’ FIVE STAR+ I should also mention the house was kept nice and clean when we returned home. Thanks Deb :)”

“Tammy was great one more time, taking care of my kitties. It’s the second time we book her visits and we already have a third booking coming up in the next few weeks. Thank you for your support :)”

About: As a holistic health practitioner and lifelong animal lover, I bring a calm, grounded presence and deep attunement to every dog I care for. Each pup is unique, and I take the time to truly understand their energy, temperament, and needs—whether they thrive on adventure, prefer gentle companionship, or simply want a safe lap to rest on. With me, your dog will be treated like family. I provide personalized walks, play, and comfort, always with safety and wellbeing as the top priority. My clients trust me for my thoughtful attention, reliable communication, and the genuine love I bring to every visit. I’m here to make sure your dog not only feels cared for while you’re away, but also supported in ways that nurture their joy, confidence, and sense of security. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I walk myself 3 times a day and often like to explore. Walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddle breaks naturally blend into my flow, and I always make sure each pet gets the attention and love they need. Whether it’s a calm companion or an energetic pup, I can meet them where their at. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the animals and the space with deep respect and care, as if they were my own. I ensure your pets get lots of outdoor time and exercise for a good night's rest! I take time to connect with each pet so they feel safe, seen, and loved while their family is away. Cleanliness, communication, and calm presence are my priorities, so you can feel confident and at ease knowing your pet (and home) are in nurturing hands.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of experience caring for, walking, and living with dogs of my own. I’m Pet First Aid Certified and have earned 100+ five-star reviews from happy pet parents, so you can feel confident knowing your dog is being cared for by someone experienced, reliable, and genuinely excited to have them around. One of the biggest perks of staying with me is that I work from home, which means your dog won’t be spending their day alone. I’m around throughout the day for company, attention, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of belly scratches. I’m also a big believer that dogs deserve more than a quick trip around the block. I make it a priority to get dogs out for about an hour of walking and outdoor time each day, and I try to make that time count! Depending on your dog’s energy level and personality, that might mean a good-paced walk, lots of sniffing and exploring, or simply getting outside and enjoying some fresh air. I’m friendly, active, outdoorsy, and genuinely just love having dogs around. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, happy, exercised, and cared for while you’re away and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits naturally into our everyday routine! Since I work from home, I'm around throughout the day, so your dog gets plenty of company, attention, potty breaks, and playtime rather than being left alone for hours. I love being active and getting outside, so daily walks are already a big part of my lifestyle. I aim for at least an hour of walking/outdoor activity each day and make that time worthwhile. Whether that’s a good walk to burn some energy, exploring and sniffing, or adjusting the pace to what your dog enjoys most. Throughout the workday, the dogs are welcome to hang out with me, relax nearby, play, or find their favourite spot for a nap. I can also easily work feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, and other routines into our day. On evenings and weekends, I'm often spending time outside, going for walks, or simply relaxing at home and the dogs are part of it! My goal is to make their stay feel less like they’re being “boarded” and more like they’re joining my household and routine while their family is away. I care for every dog staying with us the same way I’d want someone to care for our own with lots of attention, a safe environment, and a routine that works for them. I'm very mindful about keeping my home dogs-safe. I'm diligent about keeping food and anything tempting out of reach, and I pay close attention to each dog’s individual habits, personality, and needs. I also have a fully fenced yard, making potty breaks and outdoor time easy throughout the day. Since I work from home, I'm able to keep a close eye on the dogs and let them outside whenever they need rather than relying on a rigid schedule. Most importantly, I know every dog is different! I'm happy to adjust my routine around your pet, whether they need a specific feeding schedule, more frequent potty breaks, extra exercise, medication, quiet time, or just a little more attention while they settle in. My goal is simple: keep your dog safe, comfortable, happy, and feeling at home while they’re with me.
“Sara has been wonderful! We adopted a rescue who takes time to warm up to people and he gravitated to her right away. He is still learning his new space and Sara has been working with me to help him with that, especially when on leash outside. I was so nervous about this whole process but Sara has set my mind at ease with it all. I will continue to book her services as long as she is available!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through dog walking, overnight stays, and pet sitting. One of the first puppies I ever pet sat for is a dog I still care for years later, which has allowed me to build a strong relationship with both the dog and owner over time. Last summer, I started doing overnight stays for two dogs and gained experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, companionship, and keeping dogs comfortable in their home environment while their owners are away. What sets me apart is that I genuinely love spending time with animals and always try to make dogs feel safe, cared for, and treated like family. I’m patient, reliable, attentive, and understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits well into my schedule alongside my two part-time jobs. I work at a golf course in Bragg Creek and also do housekeeping and laundry at a hotel in Cochrane. My shifts vary, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. I’m good at planning my schedule ahead of time to make sure pets get the attention, care, and consistency they need while their owners are away. I currently provide pet care in my client’s home, where pets are usually most comfortable and able to stay in their normal routine and environment. At this time, I’m unable to offer boarding in my own home, as the people I’m currently staying with do not allow pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible through feeding schedules, walks, playtime, companionship, and overnight care when needed. I always try to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment and treat both the pets and the home with respect and care.
About: Hi! I’m Hunter, a recent Education graduate and lifelong dog lover. I’ve grown up with dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that means getting outside for a good walk, playing, or just giving them some extra attention. My background in education has taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, safety, and being someone people can depend on. I’m used to following specific routines and instructions, communicating professionally, and adapting to different needs and personalities. Through my work in schools, I also have a current Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check. I’m active and enjoy being outdoors, so dog walking is a natural fit for me. I’m happy to adjust walks to your dog whether they need a good energetic outing or prefer to take their time and explore. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, and I make time every day to care for each of them individually. I take them on separate walks so they each get one-on-one attention, and I also make time for play, exercise, and brushing their teeth. I enjoy making sure they are active, happy, and well cared for, and I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent routine. I prioritize safety, trust, and making sure pets feel comfortable in their environment. I follow the owner’s instructions and routines carefully, including feeding, walking, medication if required, and any specific preferences or rules for their pet.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs through pet sitting, dog walking, and caring for family pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure animals feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I also have experience helping care for pregnant Yorkies and young puppies, which taught me to be attentive, patient, and calm in different situations. As a figure skater, I’m very responsible, active, and dependable. I enjoy spending time outdoors and giving pets lots of attention, exercise, and cuddles. I have a mostly flexible schedule with figure skating training sessions in the afternoons most days. I am able to provide lots of pet care in my schedule throughout weekdays and weekends. With morning and evening walks. I follow instructions well. I am commited to following each pets routine well. Providing each pet with a fun and calm experience. By giving the right amount of food at the right time. Supervising the pets at all times. Providing long walks as well as lots attention and cuddles.
About: I've lived in households with pets for most of my life, and have also worked in shelters for both dogs and cats. I am confident I am the kind of person you're looking for. I just finished my first degree and am preparing to take the law school entrance exam; whenever your pets need care, I will be there. I have a yard and also pay attention whenever pets are around; if I'm over to help you, I will do any sort of thing you need, and if your pets are over here, I will guarantee they will always have water and will be let out whenever necessary.
About: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Back in business⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We took a few years off of Rover to pursue some personal endeavours, but we are back. Now calling Cochrane AB home, our love for pets is bringing us back to Rover. We have a new member of the pack and that’s our sweet 3 year old boy banked Biko. He’s a Rottie mix and the most sweet and goofy. He’ll March any pups energy. We take pride in going above and beyond in accommodating all owners' requests for their dogs and in being reliable caretakers of their beloved pets. We also make it our goal to send regular "pupdates" of your pet and all the fun we're having so you don't miss out on the action. About us: Madeleine & Logan live together and although they both work full time (often from home), it's not unusual for their schedules to be opposite of each other. That being said, your pooch will almost always have someone home to keep them company. Which means many opportunities for potty breaks, and short walks throughout the day. They live in a pet-friendly apartment complex located close to many trails that lead to designated dog parks and to the river. They are an active couple who love to be outdoors. Between the two of them, your sweet four-legged friend will be in the best of care. They both love dogs and believe that every owner should feel reassured that their pets are being loved and cared for like family, and confident their pets are having fun at the best doggy vacay in town! ⭐Spring 2021, we are introducing our day-hike program! We are offering a service where we take your dog for a day out to the trails for a hike! Our promise is they will come home to you happy, exercised, and feeling accomplished with a few destination photos as proof for their 'gram.⭐ If you'd like your dog to come along for the exercise and adventure, please reach out to us so we can answer your questions. (You may need to put in a request for a dog walk to initiate a conversation through the rover app. No obligation and no last-minute fees will be charged for inquiries! Once communication is established, we can notify you of the days we have availability for your pup to tag along to go hiking. If we sound like a good fit, please reach out to us, we are looking forward to meeting you and your pup! Our schedules are often opposite of each other so there are always plenty of opportunities to get your dog out and about. We can accommodate any energy level any day of the week! We live in a pet-friendly apartment, but we are close to a great walking path system near both elbow and bow rivers. There are plenty of unofficial off-leash dog parks nearby, in addition to a large off-leash space. We even have access to a private dog run in case your doggo doesn't care to play with other dogs. We also have plenty of experience with dogs that don't play nice, so we're not intimidated by nervous or aggressive behaviour. We just stick to the walking routes that we've identified with fewer triggers.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cochrane
Zoe was amazing! She was available super last minute for us to do a meet and was a lifesaver! We were exploring Banff from out of town and our dog needed to be let out while we were gone for most of the day. My vacation was much more enjoyable knowing my fur baby was in good hands. I cannot recommend her enough!

Kristen was wonderful. She accepted our booking for drop-in visits very last minute. She was fast to respond and communicated clearly. She followed our instructions, perfectly for our dogs - one who is grumpy with strangers and the other who is blind and has to negotiate stairs. She sent great pictures and was very courteous and friendly. Definitely recommend…

Sara has been wonderful! We adopted a rescue who takes time to warm up to people and he gravitated to her right away. He is still learning his new space and Sara has been working with me to help him with that, especially when on leash outside. I was so nervous about this whole process but Sara has set my mind at ease with it all. I will continue to book her services as long as she is available!

Lyndsie is amazing! She kept our two French bulldogs company while we were away for a week. She came everyday to let them outside, and play with them. She sent us pictures and updates, which we loved so much! We will be calling Lyndsie again in the near future.

We have two dogs, one dog who is very shy of strangers and so finding a walker can be tough! Renata won her heart in very short time and has been so reliable for us when we need her. She clearly cares about dogs and does amazing job of keeping us informed when we’re away. Thanks! Highly recommend
