“Joann took our dog last minute for 12 days after he got denied boarding on our vacation. We can’t thank Joann enough for her flexibility. We always know Mookie is in the best hands at Joann’s.”

“We had Tracey look after Astyn & Fernley, and felt they had a great vacation while they were in her care. Communication was great and received lots of updates and pics while we were away. Would definitely reach out to her again for doggie care. Big bonus of extra naps for a couple of days for our tired pups upon returning home. Thanks so much”

“Gary was an awesome dog-sitter; you can tell he genuinely cares about the pups he’s looking after. He sent us thoughtful updates while we were away, and gave us complete confidence and peace of mind that our dog was in kind and skillful hands. He was also flexible and accommodating when a highway closure delayed our return by a day. We definitely recommend Gary for dog-sitting and will look forward to using his services again. ?”

“We had no worries leaving Olive for a week long stay, Maxime and Léa made it a wonderful, reassuring and calm experience. Olive also turned 4 during the stay and they threw her a birthday party, literally the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. These guys go above and beyond, fully recommend! 💘”

“Beatrix's stay with Silta was excellent. Clear communications and very quick to respond. Lots of updates with photos, plenty of walks each day. Beatrix especially enjoyed playing with the other dogs and children in a nice spacious backyard. We can't wait for Bea's next stay, thank you for all your care and kindness Silta 😊”

“Eunmee boarded Vino for two weeks and he was so happy and well taken care of. Lots of walks, naps and playtime. I couldn’t ask him to be cared for any better. Thanks Eunmee and family.”

“We were so happy to have Laura-Lynn and Zachary care for our dog over the weekend. This was our first time using this service, and they were absolutely wonderful. Our dog has some separation anxiety, so we were a bit nervous, but Laura-Lynn was amazing at easing our worries from the start. She provided daily updates on how our dog was doing, along with some adorable photos, which really brought us comfort and peace of mind. It was clear our dog was well cared for, loved, and happy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them!”

“Paula is an amazing dog sitter! She recently watched our puppy for a full week, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She is reliable, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure our pup is happy and safe. Paula kept us updated throughout the week, sharing photos and notes that gave us real peace of mind. It’s clear that she genuinely cares for animals, and our puppy adores her. I highly recommend Paula to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets!”

“Henri had the BEST time with Melanie and her son! They took him on hikes, let him splash and play in the water nearby, and spent lots of time playing fetch - his favourite. Melanie was attentive, had great communication throughout his stay, and took such wonderful care of our fur baby. We loved receiving updates and could tell Henri was happy, well-loved, and having so much fun. We’ll definitely be dropping Henri off at Camp Melanie again for future stays. Highly recommend!”

“Emily was super. Excellent communication from booking right through to the end. Sent photos of Finnegan out on walks and playing. She was very knowledgeable and capable. Definitely recommend her for dog sitting your doggo.”

“We were so happy with all the adventures Cindy took our Mr. Timber on! Hiking, biking, paddling & swimming. Highly recommend if you have a pup that loves off leash adventures. Timber came home very tired.”

“Lisa was great! She made our dog feel so relaxed and cared for. She took steps to make him feel at home and comfortable. Lisa sent picture regularly of Berkley playing and smiling. I’m pretty sure he wishes he lived there all the time because he spend the first 2 days back at home moping. That’s a sign of great care!!”

“Mariana was great for sending videos and her kids played so well with the dogs. She did an excellent job and we will definitely use her again. Thank you for taking Bailey! She had so much fun!”

She managed our blind Chihuahua on difficult RV steps, and made friends with our other grumpy Chihuahua. Zoe sent great pictures and updated us after the drop-in. I definitely recommend her.”

“As always, Gayle provided wonderful care for my cats. And as an extra layer of comfort, was available to additional visits in the event my flight was cancelled. It’s great to have the piece of mind that comes with Gayle’s reliability!”

“Thank you for looking after our kitty while we were away. We especially appreciated your patience with her ear meds and your flexibility with timing. It made a big difference for us knowing she was well cared for.”

About: I grew up with lots of animals and have been pet sitting for family, friends, and clients since I was 12. I’d love to help care for your pets. I am a photographer that works from home and have tons of flexibility in my work schedule to care for your pets and get outdoors! While I am unable to invite other pets into my home as I have three cats and a large dog, I’m happy to stop by to take your dogs for a walk, clean cat litter boxes, and play with your pets!

“This review is based on care for a senior cat who needs daily medication. Karen provided wonderful care for our cat. She came to do a "meet & greet" to find out all about his needs and what was required while we were away. Our cat took to her straight away and the friendship began. Nothing fazed Karen. She was able to deal with his picky eating. She gave his medication the same way we did it to keep everything normal and in routine for him. Karen sent daily photos and an update after each visit, plus some videos. Karen responds to messages very quickly and communicates well. Overall, our cat had amazing care while he were away. I would not hesitate to have Karen look after our cat again. I highly recommend her.”

“Gina gave our cats excellent care when we are away on vacation. We received photos and an update each day to put our minds at ease. They were happy as can be upon our return! Thank you for taking such great care of our beloved fur babies.”

“Jacqueline looked after our 17 year old senior cat Rosi and we were initially nervous about having someone new come into our house but our fears were quickly put to rest. Jacqueline stuck to our requested schedule (2x per day) and made a point of communicating every visit to let us know how Rosi was doing, whether she was eating well, and she even took the extra care to vacuum. We have already booked in for the next time we will be away!”

“We will 100% be using Morgan and her son Bowen again! They stayed at our home for several days and took amazing care of our two very spoiled cats. Morgan is so sweet, calm, and clearly has a natural way with animals — our cats took to her and Bowen right away, even the shy one only took a day to come out of hiding. Bowen is the cutest little helper and brings such a happy energy. Morgan sent regular updates which totally put us at ease while we were away. So grateful to have found them!”

About: What sets me apart is my focus on personalized, low-stress walks tailored to your pup’s needs—whether it’s a gentle stroll for seniors or energetic play for puppies plus real-time updates. I volunteered for several years at the humane society, walking dogs daily and working closely with cats to help them feel safe and socialized. In Cochrane, I’m an adoptions counsellor, matching families with their perfect pets. At home, I’ve cared for my own exotic birds for years and of course I have my own little dog, Hanna, (who was the very first client I took out for walks!). I’ve also ridden horses for many years and currently have a rehab horse I’m gently nursing back to health. I absolutely adore all pets especially senior animals and have lots of experience providing the extra patience, gentle care, and attention they need (Hanna is a senior but still thinks she’s a pup…), whether it’s helping with mobility, or just offering quiet companionship. This diverse background equips me with skills in puppy socialization, basic training, senior care, and even unique pets like birds or horses. I love building trust with every animal and their owner, no matter their age or needs! So, I can’t wait to meet yours :) As a university student, I’m reliably available in the evenings for visits or walks. On a given day, I can also fit in early morning walks if that works best for your pet’s schedule, I’m very flexible! Your pet’s safety and happiness come first. In your home I follow your instructions exactly for feeding, routines, playtime, and any special needs. I double-check doors and gates, provide lots of attention and cuddles, and keep everything secure. I treat your home with respect—tidy on arrival, tidier when I leave! You’ll get regular photo updates so you can relax and have that peace of mind you deserve! With my shelter, adoption, and personal animal experience, I’m calm, reliable, and great at helping pets feel safe and loved in their familiar space. Happy to chat about your pet’s needs!

“Unfortunately, my dog has anxiety which defeated her today, so she wasn't able to stay for the day. But Amber tried really hard to calm her, and in a different circumstance, I would absolutely entrust a dog to her. She was very patient and understanding and communicated well with me.”

“Amazing service from amazing people. Easy and fast communication. Loves dogs as her own. Plenty of updates on how happy the dogs are Will continue to use without hesitation. Thank you”

About: What sets me apart is my patient, attentive approach and experience handling pets of all ages, from playful puppies needing training to senior pets requiring gentle, specialized care. Pet care naturally integrates into my daily life—I have a flexible schedule and dedicated time each day to provide attentive walks, playtime, and companionship for pets. I ensure a safe, comfortable environment by closely following each pet’s regular routine, providing constant supervision, maintaining cleanliness, and offering affection, exercise, and personalized care.
About: I have had pets since I was a child, and owned my own first cat when I was in my 20's. 30 years later, we've had 5 cats and 1 dog and lots of rescues that were re-homed. Petsitting/House Sitting (In Your Home): 9 years ago, as a family we started petsitting internationally - we have petsit in 13 countries and cared for more than 120 family pets. I work online, remotely so I am at home virtually all day to care for your pets allowing them to keep their exact happy and stress-free routines while you are away. Boarding / Daycare (at my home): I'm home all day so your furbabies get lots of attention. I have a small backyard so lots of play and frequent potty breaks. Weather dependent they will get a walk down along the river or one of the dog parks. Local neighborhood walks are also provided. We are full-on animal lovers and they can choose where they want to hang. They are allowed on furniture, beds and can choose who to sleep with. Because I'm home all day, your pets can keep their normal routines for walks, feeding and medications. I am comfortable providing injections or pills. We do have 2 cats that allow us to live full-time with them. One of them is skittish and will most likely hide until she gets to know new fur-friends. The other one thinks everyone is his friend and especially loves dogs. We will initially keep the cats (mine) in a bedroom until they all feel comfortable with each other. If it's other cats coming into our home we will rotate the living space until they are all comfortable with each other. We've done this a lot....our cats are used to other animals coming and going. In-Home Visits/Dog Walking: When it comes to home visits and dog walks, I am flexible and available to meet your furbabies needs and schedules. My standard overnight house sitting rate includes time spent away from the home for up to 5–6 hours per day to accommodate other work and commitments. For pets that require more consistent supervision, I offer a Continuous Care option. This service limits time away from the home to a maximum of 2 hours per day and is priced at 2× my standard daily rate. For example, if my base rate is $50/day for the first pet and $20/day for a second pet, the Continuous Care rate would be $100/day and $40/day respectively. I work from home, so I am extremely flexible with schedules. I am available 7 days a week, and offer dog walking from 6am to 9pm daily. If your pets are boarding at our home, late-night potty breaks past 9pm are provided. I offer overnight petsitting in your home. Your pets get to remain comfortable in their own home environment and maintain their schedules they are used to. Pets who are able to stay in their own home are more stress-free and happy when they are in their familiar and trusted environments, we simply come in and replicate your schedule. In home visits for dog walking and cat visits include a basic home check to ensure your home's security. I will walk your dog(s) for specified durations, play with your dogs and cats, scoop litter, refresh water bowls and feed according to instructions. Lots of love, attention, belly rubs and play. (I may sometimes have my 18yo daughter assist - if I do, she will come for a meet and greet with you as well). We work hard to gain your pets trust. We've had many tell us their pets are shy or anti-social and within hours/days the pets are sitting with us watching TV to the pets looking for us days after we've left. We promise your furbabies will be loved and spoiled with attention.
“Oscar was so well cared for and loved while he stayed with Jacqueline. They sent updates and pictures while he was there and he looked so happy ! They have a beautiful fenced outdoor space for the dogs to run around in as well. I will definitely be bringing Oscar back there!”

About: I started taking care of pets 30 years ago with my first dog an all black long haired German Shepherd & my first cat a tabby stray we brought in & named Tiger. I work from home & go for walks every lunch hour & after work so I would love to take your pup with me! It would also be nice to have the company of a pet if you need daytime care. Available most weeks for overnight care. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have a park close by which I like to walk to or along the river. Backyard is not fenced.
About: I have LOVED dogs since I was a child, growing up with a loyal German Shepherd, and a goofy Black Lab. That love of dogs has never left but I have not owned a dog as an adult due to work and travel, but the right time is slowly coming closer for me! I am currently volunteering at the CAHS as a dog walker and I absolutely love it! It's also been great experience handling dogs with a wide range of personalities. Last year, my partner and I dog-sat for friends in their apartment for a few months while they were out of the country. While this dog did have some behavioural issues, it was a very rewarding experience for us to have a dog in our daily lives again and we learned a lot along the way I'm currently not working and my partner is away for the summer so I would love to fill some of my time walking and doggy-sitting. I would love to take your dog on a hike, trail walk, or to an off leash park. Whatever they enjoy, I'm down for an adventure with your pup! Or we can do belly rubs on the couch, I love that too!! I live in a pet-free/child-free apartment, right across the street from a park for quick, easy potty breaks. I enjoy being outside and can offer multiple walks a day. I would love to discuss your pets needs and routine to make sure their stay with me is comfortable and fun for both of us
“Tommy was well taken care off and they made sure to know everything about him to be able to accommodate him best. They care lots for him and I appreciate that. I loved to see Tommy’s day care pictures and was updated on how he was doing during his stay. Thank you guys!”

About: We are a family of 4 who loves dogs and have lots of experience caring for them. We have two of our own doodles who are excited to make some friends! When you leave your furry family members with us you can rest assured they will almost never be alone and have all the outside breaks they need as we have one parent working from home and the other a stay at home Mom. Your pup will enjoy playing in our fenced yard and we will strive to ensure they are very comfortable and well taken care of. We also offer a 20-30 minute walk each day of their stay if they are able to walk well on leash and are not reactive with other dogs/animals. With both parents at home we are very well suited to care for your pups! We enjoy having dogs in our home and have it set up as a safe and comfortable environment. We have a fenced yard and two of our own very friendly dogs so your fur babies will feel right at home. We are home most of the day so can ensure they are settling in nicely and getting everything they need.
About: I have experience in working at the humane society and various vet clinics. I am studying pet nutrition and behaviour which includes cats and their special ways. I am available to walk your dog, let them out or pop over for supper if you are running late. My schedule is flexible and I am able to help out on short notice. I am a mature adult, currently working a few days per week so I have the flexibility and time to look after your fur babies. I have a regular client who brings their cat to my home, however most cats prefer the comfort of their own home so I am available to take care of your cats and plants leaving you to to enjoy your time away.

“We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention Karen provided for Jersey while we were on vacation. She consistently went above and beyond, often exceeding the scheduled time, choosing a variety of routes, and ensuring Jersey got great exercise. She listened to our feedback, worked well with the caregivers, and kept us updated with daily notes and pictures, which gave us peace of mind. Her expertise with dogs was evident, and it was clear she truly loves what she does. We highly recommend her!”

“So lovely to deal with! I reached out last minute and they were so kind and accommodating. They treated my dog with genuine care on his walk, sent lots of cute photos and check-ins of my pup, and he had such a great time. I’ll absolutely be booking again and highly recommend them to others! :)”

I love going on walks with my pup at home. To switch things up we love to go to the dog park and hangout with other dogs so she can be active and able to make friends! My dog is very timid and scared around other dogs so i understand being protective and attentive.

We would love another fury friend around from time to time! I currently work from home full time and have lots of free time to play and go for walks. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. I’ve fostered dogs ranging from young puppies to rescue cases coming from neglect, so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs and personalities. I also worked at a dog and cat boarding kennel, where I supervised playgroups and cared for a wide variety of client pets. This experience made me very confident in reading canine body language, managing group dynamics, and ensuring every pet stays safe, comfortable, and happy. With a background in veterinary medicine as a Wildlife Biologist, I’m confident administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and keeping a close eye on your pet’s overall health and wellbeing. You can trust that your pet is in capable, attentive hands. I’m also very active—I’ve spent years hiking in the Rockies, so whether your dog loves long walks, runs, or high-energy play, I can easily keep up! As a former dog owner of 14 years, I understand the special care and patience senior dogs need, as well as the deep bond we share with our pets. In addition, I’ve taken training courses and worked closely with my foster dogs on skills like crate training and leash manners to help set them up for success. Your pet will be treated like family, with lots of love, attention, and personalized care. I have recently completed my Masters degree and am doing some online coursework to continue building my skillset so my schedule is very open and flexible to the needs of your pet! I take safety and comfort very seriously, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I’ve created a pet-friendly environment with potential hazards in mind, any plants are kept in a closed-off room so they’re completely inaccessible, and since there are no children in the home, there are no small toys or choking risks present. My space is also senior-friendly, with only one stair, making it easier and safer for older dogs or those with mobility concerns. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, including monitoring water intake based on their breed, activity level, and the weather, to ensure they stay properly hydrated and healthy. Overall, I aim to provide a calm, secure, and attentive environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

Seen as dogs come with various personalities and traits we will enjoy getting to know your dog and socializing yours with ours. We can separate our dog from yours if necessary. If your dog is allowed to be on couch or bed we can accommodate that at our home.

“Tawnya & Jeremy take good care of our dog whenever we are out of town. He gets to play with their kiddos and loves hanging out on their deck! We get regular updates from them and have never had an issue. Would highly recommend Tawnya and Jeremy!”

“France was amazing!! My pup stayed at her place for 3 days and I received a lot of pictures/videos of him having fun with her and her dog Hank, I highly recommend her and will book again for sure if needed 😊”

“Rosa was so flexible and easy to accommodate! I left my dog with her overnight and she was kind enough to even drop him off for me in the morning :) she was welcoming and has a really lovely dog at home who gets along well with all dogs!”

“Scott was super swift at the replies and helping me organise a quick one night stay. Moose came out of there as normal as ever so I guess it all went well!? Haha some people give off good vibes, these are definitely those people!”

“Yulina was great with my little Daisy . She was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive. She sent me regular updates with photos and videos, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Daisy absolutely loved her and was so happy and relaxed when I got back. You can tell she truly loves and understands dogs — I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!”

“Cynthia offered a meet and greet, which was really nice and appreciated. She is a great communicator and sent great pics of Willy during his stay. She is a dog person and I could tell Willy was in great hands.”
