About: My pet care experience started 10 years ago - my dad took me to his best friends house and they told me their dog loved going on adventures but they weren’t able to get out much. From there I started pickup him up for walks and hikes, and eventually I ended up pet sitting a bunch of different times. My favourite memory was when he hopped the fence and ran next door and waited for me at the basement suite door because he knew I was cleaning it. We became inseparable! Eventually I got my own dog, became friends with a dog trainer and have spent so many hours working and learning as much as I can about dogs. My kiddo is a little older and now I’d love to offer services to others. I work remotely taking clients so I am available most days of the week t take care of your furry friends! We have lots of green space at nearby parks for decompressing and sniffing and live in a great neighbourhood for dog walks. I have a fully fenced yard, as well as a fenced dog run. Inside the house I do require dogs to be crate trained for overnights. I offer dogs clear communication and structure in my home, with a guarantee their needs will be met. One of my best friends is a dog trainer and I work heavily with my own dog to ensure needs like prey drive (play) and pack drive are met. As well as plenty of time to decompress.

About: As a life-long dog owner, I enjoy spending time with any and all 4-legged creatures. My resident dog, Ellie, is high-needs and high-maintenance which has allowed us to create an ultra-safe, heavily monitored home for anxiety-prone dogs or mischief seekers. Ellie's energy levels won't match that of younger or more playful pups. She'll play when the feeling strikes her, but otherwise she's very indifferent and will keep to herself. So if your dog get's really excited around furry friends, we may not be the best option. I've used this dog-sitting service myself, and can understand the stress that can come with trusting another person with your most prized possession. I promise to do my best in maintaining regular communication and will diligently follow special instructions. My partner and I both work remotely, which allows us to be home most of the time. Your pup can free-roam during the work day and we will provide walks/enrichment in the evening and on weekends. We have a fenced yard that borders a dog park. We take our dogs on minimum 2 walks per day. We will respect whatever meal times you have arranged with your dog. We have a variety of enrichment toys to keep them entertained, as well. We will always keep your dog on-leash unless you explicitly approve off-leash walks.

About: As a family of six we ran a dog boarding care facility for over a decade. Fur babies have been our companions for most our lives. We enjoy outdoor exercise time with dogs. The company of a pet while relaxing at home is second to none. Life is only as good as the company you keep. We are a stay at home business owning family. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work full time in the city and I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I’m very good with early mornings and late night visits. I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. My name is Paige, and I’m certified in Pet First-Aid and also a Fear Free Certified Professional. I am new to rover but not new to pet care. When choosing my services, you can be confident you’re choosing someone who has a strong love for animals and who takes your pet care seriously as well as keeping your pets safe. I am passionate in pursuing a professional career in boarding and training; I am currently making my way through the necessary trainings and certifications to get there. Your pet will always be in good hands with me and very loved! Animals have been a love in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets, I knew I wanted one of my own one day. At a young age, I began caring for pets of family, family friends, neighbours and coworkers. I eventually got a pup of my own and enjoyed training her as a puppy into adulthood! I’d love the opportunity to also care for your fur-family! Your pets well-being, safety and health are a priority in my home and when out for walks in the neighbourhood. I am excited to give each dog the love and care they need to have the best day, always caring for them as I would my own pup. Initial meet and greets are always complimentary to ensure full comfort. I enjoy going out for walks with my dog, Lexie, on a daily basis. Walks range between 20-45 minutes at a time, 1-3x a day. It would be a pleasure to include another friend with her as well! I work from home majority of the time which allows me to be home and available for pet care as needed. I offer daycare on the days I plan to be home, and I offer boarding for 1-2 dogs at a time and adjust my work schedule as needed for their care. I follow all instructions for pet care with diet restrictions, feeding times, exercise needs, playtime needs as well as needed affection. My girl has severe allergies, and we are a friendly home that caters to these sensitivities. I have dividers in my home to separate them at meal times if needed for allergy purposes as well or when I need to step out of the home for short periods of time. I am new to Rover as a sitter, but not new to pet care and offering safe pet care to family, friends, and recommendations through them. I’m currently pursuing the educational requirements to become a professional dog trainer and my passion is to build a successful business helping families to care and train their pets. I currently offer 1-2 spots for boarding and daycare and I have a dream to upgrade one day, to run a pet resort here in Calgary! I offer gentle and reward-based training and care within my home and also have a friendly dog. She is well trained, submissive, and extremely gentle with all dogs, including tiny breeds. She gets along with all animals and loves company! My home is very safe for providing care and puppy-proofed as needed! I am dedicated to providing a safe environment for boarding and daycare.
