“Silta and her family were great with Maverick! She took great care of Maverick, gave me daily updates, and Maverick looked like he had an amazing time! I would highly recommend Silta to anyone looking for care for their dog. Thank you!”

“Thanks Brianna for taking such great care of Rosie and keeping her active. I know she enjoyed playing with Pippi. I’m glad Rosie felt very comfortable and loved while staying in your home. Look forward to having Rosie stay with you again in the future.”

“Our dog enjoyed his stay with Rosa! She was awesome to communicate with and she sent lots of photos of our dog being spoiled with attention. We will 100% be using Rosa next time we need to travel!”

“We have used Scott & Carly for daycare several times and, more recently, for an overnight stay with our pup. Every experience has been excellent. They are incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times. Communication is fantastic, they always respond quickly to messages and keep us updated with photos throughout our dog's stay, which we really appreciate. One thing we especially value is that they only care for one family's dog at a time, and someone is always home with our pup. It gives us lots of peace of mind knowing our dog receives so much attention and care. Their home is calm, clean, and very dog friendly, creating a safe and relaxing environment. Our dog is always happy & never seems stressed at drop off or pickup, which speaks volumes about the care they provide. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful, safe, and caring place for our dog to stay. Scott & Carly genuinely care about our pup, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dog care.”

About: I’ve been taking care of friends and families pets when they’ve been away for over 10 years and I’ve been a full time dog owner for 5. I love animals and really enjoy getting to know their individual personalities. I currently work part time from home and can customize my schedule accordingly to your pets needs. I have lots of time to play and go for walks! I have a large fenced yard with lots of play space. I own a very friendly dog who can help entertain and loves having visitors. We have lots of space inside where dogs can be on sofas and get cozy with lots of blankets and pillows. I also have separated areas if dogs need space from one another and for them to feel comfortable and relaxed.
“Thank you for giving amazing care to Alfie! Daily updates with lots of photos and videos. The whole family was dedicated to walk, feed and play with our pup. Will definitely rebook with Niti!”

“Karlee is an amazing sitter! Our Jasper spent 2 weeks with her while we were gone and we constantly got updates! Not just words but pictures as well! She is so flexible with us and we appreciate it. Jasper enjoyed his time and he came back healthy and happy as well as extremely tired! Highly recommend her as a sitter and we will be using her again in the future. 😊”

“After a meet and greet walk I felt comfortable that Jeffrey & Janine would take good care of Ozzy while we went away on a small trip. They asked a lot of detailed questions regarding his care prior to us leaving him. During our trip we got amazing detailed updates on Ozzy and wonderful pictures as well. They played his favorite game of fetch with him and took him on daily walks. They sent a video of him playing with their dog too. Ozzy looked like he was loved and well taken care of. We would not hesitate to use their services again for future bookings and you shouldn't either! You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Jeffrey & Janine for looking after our fur ball!”

“Prada has such an amazing time with France. She looked so happy on her walks and it was so nice she had a buddy to be with her. France went above and beyond caring for Prada and helping bring her out to our wedding venue for wedding photos. So grateful we found France!”

About: Use this promo code: PAIGEP96905 if it’s for your time booking on Rover! ($20 off your first booking) 50% Off a One-Night Trial Stay: Once your pet’s boarding stay is booked and confirmed, you’ll receive 50% off a one-night trial stay. It’s the perfect opportunity for your pup to get comfortable with me and their new environment before their extended stay. About your Sitter: Thanks for checking me out on Rover! My name is Paige, and I’m certified in Pet First-Aid and also a Fear Free Certified Professional. I am new to rover but not new to pet care. When choosing my services, you can be confident you’re choosing someone who has a strong love for animals and who takes your pet care seriously as well as keeping your pets safe. I am passionate in pursuing a professional career in boarding and training; I am currently making my way through the necessary trainings and certifications to get there. Your pet will always be in good hands with me and very loved! Animals have been a love in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets, I knew I wanted one of my own one day. At a young age, I began caring for pets of family, family friends, neighbours and coworkers. I eventually got a pup of my own and enjoyed training her as a puppy into adulthood! I’d love the opportunity to also care for your fur-family! Your pets well-being, safety and health are a priority in my home and when out for walks in the neighbourhood. I am excited to give each dog the love and care they need to have the best day, always caring for them as I would my own pup. Initial meet and greets are always complimentary to ensure full comfort. I enjoy going out for walks with my dog, Lexie, on a daily basis. Walks range between 20-45 minutes at a time, 1-3x a day. It would be a pleasure to include another friend with her as well! I work from home majority of the time which allows me to be home and available for pet care as needed. I offer daycare on the days I plan to be home, and I offer boarding for 1-2 dogs at a time and adjust my work schedule as needed for their care. I follow all instructions for pet care with diet restrictions, feeding times, exercise needs, playtime needs as well as needed affection. My girl has severe allergies, and we are a friendly home that caters to these sensitivities. I have dividers in my home to separate them at meal times if needed for allergy purposes as well or when I need to step out of the home for short periods of time. I am new to Rover as a sitter, but not new to pet care and offering safe pet care to family, friends, and recommendations through them. I’m currently pursuing the educational requirements to become a professional dog trainer and my passion is to build a successful business helping families to care and train their pets. I currently offer 1-2 spots for boarding and daycare and I have a dream to upgrade one day, to run a pet resort here in Calgary! I offer gentle and reward-based training and care within my home and also have a friendly dog. She is well trained, submissive, and extremely gentle with all dogs, including tiny breeds. She gets along with all animals and loves company! My home is very safe for providing care and puppy-proofed as needed! I am dedicated to providing a safe environment for boarding and daycare.
“Jeanette's cat sitting service was paws-itively amazing! 🐾 My cat was well taken care of, happy, and well-fed during the entire time. Jeanette's attention to detail and genuine care for my cat truly stood out. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!”

“Mariana was amazing with my dogs. She was incredibly accommodating (especially with Chloe being just a puppy!) and made them feel very loved in her house! Would highly recommend!”

“Amazing sitters! I had 2 of my babies go for an overnight sleepover at their home and they were so great with my dogs. They sent lots of videos and photos throughout the night with updates and it made me feel so comfortable knowing they were really well taken care of and happy staying there. My chihuahua is having a hard time learning to pee in the right places and they were even okay that there may be an accident since she sometimes gets confused which is her pee pad and which is a floor mat. So thrilled with finding this wonderful couple, we will absolutely use them again 😊”

“Pierre and Sheila were very friendly and kind. They made sure to have all the information they needed to care for our cat and make sure he was comfortable. Zamzam is very shy and anxious, but they made him feel so welcome so quickly. They kept me updated daily and sent me pictures and videos, which was so appreciated! Definitely helped make me feel relaxed and my mind at ease. I can tell he was well taken care of and made to feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Pierre and Sheila and will definitely be reaching out again and rebooking! Thank you so much for taking care of Zamzam!”

“We love having Keanu stay with Lisa and her husband. Their home is very welcoming, and I could tell by the photos that she sends that my pup is really relaxed and enjoying his time there. She is really responsive and puts your mind at ease when you are away. I highly recommend.”

Tracey has looked after our dogs a couple times while we’ve been away. We always appreciated her updates and pictures of the dogs happy and playing. This most recent trip we encountered an unexpected delay while returning home. She was accommodating and flexible which certainly put our minds at ease. Thank you Tracey!

Henri had the BEST time with Melanie and her son! They took him on hikes, let him splash and play in the water nearby, and spent lots of time playing fetch - his favourite. Melanie was attentive, had great communication throughout his stay, and took such wonderful care of our fur baby. We loved receiving updates and could tell Henri was happy, well-loved, and having so much fun. We’ll definitely be dropping Henri off at Camp Melanie again for future stays. Highly recommend!

JoAnn and Peanut are a hit! Ozzie had a fabulous time in JoAnn's care. We received daily updates and pictures of Ozzie settling in with Peanut, and JoAnn's loving care and attention. Ozzie felt very safe and comfortable in JoAnn's care. He had a spring in his step and a smile on his face when we picked him up. We will continue to call upon JoAnn when we need a sitter for Ozzie. I give JoAnn a top rating of 5/5. I trust her completely for caring for our fur baby. THANK YOU JOANN!

Loved Sarah and Matt! They made sure my pups were comfortable and happy. Xena is skiddish around new people, but she was able to warm up to the famliy. And although the pups had a rough start on the first night, Sarah and Matt were able to resolve the issues quickly and clearly.communicated the situation. This gave us a peace of mind while we were away.

Dionne is an absolutely amazing sitter. Prince has had so much fun with her in the past, and always comes home super happy and sad to say goodbye🥺💕 I received many fun videos and silly photos of my boy! He had a blast going for walks, showing off his toys, and getting the best of treats and attention! It’s awesome having such a flexible sitter as well, especially for last minute sleepovers or additional days, Dionne has been very accommodating and happy to take him for an extra day or two! 100% will be recommending Dionne to all my dog parents, thank you so much Dionne! Prince will see you again soon!!!

Vanessa and her husband John are the sweetest couple who love dogs and showed my boy lots of love! They have a big yard which is great for getting out energy and they took my dog on long walks as well. I felt at ease as soon as I met them and knew my pup was in safe hands. Will definitely use them again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
