Our family loves having dogs around
We are an active family who loves dogs. With the loss of our 15 yr old puggle in 2024, we're looking to take care of dogs without owning one, as our summer lives are too hectic with sports. We'll cuddle and care for your pup as if it were our own, hopefully brining joy to them, and us. We’ll treat your pups as though they are part of our family.

Shanna and Josh were awesome with the dogs. They kept us up to date on important information, were very responsive, and the dogs seemed so happy and at home with them.
Everything went well from meet and greet to pickup. It is obvious that Shanna and Joshua were dog owners and understand how to care for them.
Shanna and Joshua were absolutely amazing at taking care of both our dogs! We got picture updates regularly and I know they were in good hands! We will definitely be using them again in the future and I highly recommend them!
Our puppy was very well taken care of during his stay with Shanna and Joshua! I appreciated all the photo updates of their adventures over the weekend. I have no doubt our puppy had a great time with this loving family.

Schedule
I have worked at home for 13 years and love getting out for a nice walk everyday, especially accompanied with a good companion. Our kids (13 and 10) grew up with our Puggle Petey and are great at helping walk, feed pick up after dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a nice large fenced yard, live close to the river walking paths, we like to hike and go for walks. We're comfortable with crated and non-crated dogs, and wouldn't mind a little snuggle on the couch or bed if allowed. We have a bin full of toys and keep natural treats in the pantry for whoever stops by.
A typical day
During the week we'll go for a nice mid-day walk around the neighbourhood or along the river pathway, on weekends we can get out for a hike in Cochrane or West Bragg Creek. We can play catch in our large corner lot backyard.
