Hello, I’m Karen. I have worked in animal welfare for 5years and am PACE (Positive Approach Canine Education) certified and well as Fear Free certified. My passion is animals in general, and their wellbeing in particular. As I continue my studies in this field, I’m learning its so much more than just a walk for you dog. I utilize positive reinforcement training techniques and believe mental and physical exercise are equally important for every animal’s welfare. I will take the time to get to your dog and tailor the walks to his/her needs whether it’s a decompression sniffari walk for a high energy dog, or a slow meander around a quiet neighborhood for a senior or a fearful dog. If they prefer some play time in the back yard we can do that as well.

Walks from your home in familiar areas to your dog til we have built a relationship. Walks can be tailored as appropriate after that based on your request and instruction. Your dog's comfort is priority and my goal is for your pup to have a relaxing enjoyable time while we are together.

Karen was wonderful to deal with. You can tell she spent the full half hour playing, cuddling and entertaining our cats. She provided wonderful videos and pictures to keep us in the loop. When we’ve left the cats in the past, they left signs of their distress, such as an uncharacteristic vomit on the bed! Under Karen’s care there were no such signs. They were happy, well adjusted and calm when we got home. I would not hesitate to hire Karen again to look after our kitties and to recommend her to anyone needing some loving car for their pets.
Karen took great care of our two cats while we were away. Leaving your fur babies can be worrying and to know they are in such good hands, put me at ease.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule so can adjust to meet your pets needs. I am available morning, afternoon, and evenings
