I am a stay at home mom, who routinely cares for pets in our home, and in the community. I take a lot of pride in offering adaptable care to the pets who come stay with us! I’ve come home full-time from a career in the legal sector, and I’m loving the time I get to spend with my family and furry friends.

Safety, trust & environment

In My Home: I offer a calm, cozy, and well-structured environment where pets can settle in at their own pace. I pay close attention to their comfort, body language, and individual needs—whether that means quiet spaces to decompress, soft places to nap, room to play, or one-on-one attention. I maintain predictable routines, gentle handling, and a low-stress atmosphere. I can tailor different areas of our home so each pet feels safe and supported, and I’m experienced with special diets, medication (including injections), and unique care plans. In Your Home (Drop-Ins): My focus is to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. This includes feeding, water refresh, litter or outdoor breaks, medication if needed, enrichment, exercise, and companionship based on what your pet enjoys. I use a soft, patient approach—always respecting boundaries, energy levels, and comfort.

Pet care experience

I bring a gentle, patient, and structured approach to every pet I care for. Animals and I often have similar interests… a nice walk, a cozy spot to rest by the fire place, and cookies. Beyond our mutual interests, I’m mindful of their comfort, their boundaries, and their little quirks. My philosophy is simple: pets deserve to be respected as their own beings, with their own needs, routines, and personalities. I’ve cared for animals for over 20 years. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, diabetic and medical-needs pets, high-energy breeds, and reactive or anxious animals (though we do not accept reactive pets for boarding). I can confidently give medication (including injections), handle special routines, and support training basics like leash manners, sit, stay, and crate comfort. Our home is calm, spacious, and intentionally set up to feel cozy and safe. We have a fenced yard for free play, quiet spaces throughout the house, and the flexibility to tailor environments to each pet: quiet nooks, soft blankets, sunny nap spots, or space to play. We live adjacent to safe, and pet friendly trails and green spaces for on-leash adventures. I make pets feel welcome by meeting them exactly where they’re at—soft voice, slow approach, cuddles if they want them, playtime when they’re ready, and a home filled with warmth. I’m adaptable, attentive, and thoughtful about every small detail that helps pets feel grounded and comfortable. My friends would say I comfort animals the way some people comfort children—and honestly, that’s true. I treat pets with the same presence and patience I give my own family. They get luxury comforts, steady routines, lots of care, and the freedom to be unapologetically themselves. I’m happy to send photo updates and keep you in the loop however you prefer. Most of all, I’m here to give your pet a cozy, calm, and loving experience from the moment they arrive.

We love Kristina!! What all of these reviews say are 100% accurate and why you should trust her family to watch your pet. My cat has stayed there three times now and helps himself around like it’s his own house. His feeding schedule is maintained which I appreciate when returning home and he’s on his usual feed schedule. Her whole family treats my cat as their own. I was so anxious when I was first leaving my cat and looking for sitters and now I don’t stress at all as I know he’s being well taken care of 🫶🏼

Our two whippets had such an amazing stay for 7 days with Kristina and her family. We have a one year old rambunctious high energy puppy and a nine year old quiet and sensitive older dog. Kristina was wonderful with both dogs and made sure they were comfortable and happy in her home - adapting to what they needed to feel at home. Kristina messaged us each day to let us know how they were adapting to their new environment. She sent us lots of pictures so we could see how they were doing and what they were up to. Kristina made sure they had everything they needed, kept to their regular routine and made sure they had lots of love. Our two dogs are family members to us and we felt that they were very well cared for, and treated like family members with Kristina and her family as well. We will be repeat clients with Kristina!

I feel most comfortable when I’m away leaving my cat with Kristina as I know he will get lots of attention and his food schedule will be kept. Thanks so much Kristina!
