Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! I am a student currently attending the University of Calgary and I adore taking care of animals! I have been looking after cats and dogs since I got my first pet at 5 years old and can't think of a more perfect way to support myself though school than to make a career out of it. It also gives me the opportunity to spend time with animals now that I am living away from my family and our pets! In addition to caring for my own animals throughout my life, I have also taken care of other people's pets professionally as a walker and live-in pet sitter, and while volunteering with the SPCA as a shelter caretaker. I have worked with multiple rescue and animal rehabilitation organizations thoughout my life, for both domestic animals and wildlife, and have learned a great deal about how to care for them. Dog walking is my ideal job as I absolutely love walking and being outdoors. I know all of the best parks and paths in the city and how crowded they are at different times of day. I am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments (If I could walk my family's rambunctious former sled-pulling husky when I was 12 then I can handle anything! 😉). If you have special instructions, rules, etc. for your pet's care and training I will always ensure they are followed to make sure your pet's care/environment is as consistent as possible for them, and that none of your training efforts are interfered with. I will always pay close attention to any dietary issues or restrictions your pets may have, and take lots of pictures of them for you so you don't miss a moment of them being adorable!
