About Me As a proud cat mom for over 20 years, I've cared for every stage of a cat's life—from playful kittens to seniors with special needs. Currently, I’m a 3rd-year zoology student at the University of Calgary, and since spring 2023, I’ve been working as an Animal Care Assistant at the Calgary Zoo. I’m skilled in administering both oral and injection medications, and I’m comfortable caring for cats with special needs. When it comes to shy or anxious cats, I believe in patience and giving them the space they need to build trust, using treats and playtime to connect. Special Services I aim to keep your kitty entertained, happy, and relaxed while you’re away. My visits include brushing, interactive play sessions, and tailored enrichment to reduce boredom. I also offer daily photo or video updates so you can see how your furry friend is doing. As a bonus, I can care for your plants to keep everything thriving at home!

When caring for cats in your home, I prioritize creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for your furry friends by sticking to their regular routines as much as possible. I take time to observe the cat's behavior and adapt my approach accordingly, ensuring their individual needs are met. Whether it's providing playtime, enriching their environment with new toys, or offering affection, my goal is always to keep them happy and entertained while their people are away. I also ensure the home is safe and secure, following any specific instructions you have. Throughout my visits, I send daily photo or video updates to keep you in the loop, offering peace of mind. In addition to pet care, I can also provide basic home services, like watering plants, to make the your return even easier.

Danielle was incredible! She was so attentive to our cat and cared so well for him while we were gone! She was flexible with the visits, and so responsive throughout our week away. We are so grateful we found her!
Danielle was a fantastic cat sitter who formed a wonderful bond with our sometimes prickly cat. She was great to communicate with and provided us photos and thorough updates every visit. Our cat requires twice daily medication and Danielle had no problem making sure she was taken care of. We would highly recommend Danielle!
Another amazing visit from Danielle. With our extended trip, she not only cared for Ollie with stimulating games and treat hunts, she also cleaned his water fountain and took care of our plants-alongside Ollie’s gardening green thumb. Thank you!

Danielle took great care of Preto for a week while I was traveling. She sent regular updates and lovely photos, which really reassured me that he was in good hands. I really appreciated her communication and would happily book with her again!
Danielle was incredible! Fit me into a busy schedule last minute and did a great job caring for Jack. She sent lots of photos and updates. My pet broke a dish while alone and Danielle was kind enough to not only clean up the mess but communicate with me what had happened and ensure that my pet had not hurt herself in the process. Would highly recommend to anyone, your pet and home will be in good hands!

Schedule
Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine. As a lifelong cat mom and a zoology student with hands-on experience at the Calgary Zoo, I have a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Each day, I ensure that my own pet is well-cared for with feeding, playtime, and affection. Additionally, my role at the zoo has taught me the value of enrichment activities and creating individualized routines for each animal, which I apply to the cats I sit for. I make time in my schedule to provide personalized attention to every cat I care for, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Whether it's through brushing, play, or following a special care plan for cats with unique needs, I incorporate these elements into my day-to-day routine. I’m always mindful of the importance of routine and consistency, both in my work and my pet care.
