“Monica is awesome they welcomed beans into their house and made him part of their family I loved getting the updates and pics I would definitely recommend her if you need somewhere to take your fur baby”

“I can’t begin to explain how wonderful I felt leaving Charlie with Robin and Andrew. They helped place this dog Mom at ease and I just knew it would go well. They provided daily pictures and let me know how he was doing and were very consistent. Charlie came home so happy and I would book them again in a heart beat. Thankyou soooooo much”

“Livia was super with our bigger than life puppy! We really appreciated the last minute booking too! Her updates and pictures she sent were so thoughtful and we hope she didn’t run after The deer too much! We were also totally stoked Georgia was so gentle with her pets! We are very fortunate to have Livia right down the road from us! Cheers! And again, thank you for the last minute booking.”

“Siera & her family were so wonderful! She sent photos of our dog Beau playing with her dog throughout our time away, and we could tell that she was really enjoying him and taking excellent care of him. Her yard is large so the dogs had so much fun running around together, Beau was exhausted by the time we picked him up. Highly recommend Siera”

“If my dogs (the boys) could talk they'd say we love you Whitney! This is our second time at Whitneys house for boarding , and we couldn't be happier. To say the boys have a great time there is an understatement. If you have little to mid size dogs look no further this is the place .”

“Allison was an absolute gem and I'm grateful for her availability to board my two dogs at her home while I was in Calgary to attend The Stamped. Bailey and Romeo had a blast running around her property (with GPS collars) and getting lots of snuggles!”

“Champi was returned to me the way I left her. Had lots of walks and pics proved that she enjoyed herself. Champi also got a new toy from Wayne and Lori haha.i can trust to leave her agin with you. Thank you”

“We feel really lucky that we found Haley to look after our 12 year old shih zu bichon. Haley is very warm, friendly and super accommodating. Our dog has always stayed with family and this was the first time that we left him with someone else. We could tell by the updates and pictures that our dog Mercedes was being very well taken care of and loved. We have a dog that has a lot of quirks and aggressive tendencies towards men and walking on a leash, all of which was not a problem for Haley. Our dog is also on a raw diet, and Haley accommodated this with no problem. Our dog took quiet a liking to Haley and her family, he was in no rush to come home, which is a good sign that he was sincerely well cared for. We are very grateful to Haley that Mercedes experience was such a good one, and she will be the only one Mercedes stays with in the future. We don’t live close to Lake Bonavista, but the distance was worth our fur baby’s happiness!”

“Words can't express how awesome Lacey is! The care and love she gives my dogs is amazing! I never had to worry the for the 2 weeks my pups spent with her. She gave us so many updates and you can just tell she loved having them. She always goes out of her way to help my older dog who struggles with his mobility. She also celebrated their Birthdays while we were away with a special cookie treat! I will always recommend Lacey to anyone in need of pet care!”

“Diana and her family are so great! She sent pictures and updated me on how our fur baby was adjusting. She goes above and beyond! She was really great and accommodating when we had to adjust pick up and drop off times last minute. 😊”

“Simba was very happy with Dima. He always updated us with pictures and videos. He is a very honest person and you can be at peace while you are away on vacation. He truly cares for your dog 🐶”

“It was the first time for our rescue dog Shina to stay with Leslie. She has a lot of experience with rescue dogs and knows how to deal with a wide array of behaviours and tendencies, which we really appreciate. She did an awesome job making Shina feel comfortable and settle in in a homely atmosphere and helped us feel confident that our pet was in good care. She also communicated great with us, sending updates and photos. Additionally, the area where she lives is peaceful and quiet, with a huge park right out the door. I'd definitely book Leslie's services again. Thank you so much!”

“This was our first time using Rover - I contacted Jessica with only a couple days notice when our friends could no longer watch our dog. She replied right away and was able to accommodate our pets! Our dog stayed with her in her house and she came every day to our house to feed our cat. She kept us up to date on how things were going while we were away. My dog took a day to settle in and he finally did and I know it was because of Jessica's care! I would recommend Jessica for anyone needing a caretaker!”

“I recently used Jeffrey for boarding my dog, Raja, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they were professional, attentive, and incredibly caring. They sent me pictures and updates throughout my dog’s stay, which gave me great peace of mind. Communication was excellent, with quick responses. I also appreciated their flexibility with pick-up and drop-off, which made the entire process so much easier. I highly recommend Jeffrey and his family to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog boarding service!”

“I can’t say enough about how good Kye and her family took care of our Remington. Loved all the updates and pictures she sent to us daily. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Ana was so good with my over active big puppy. She worked with him on training techniques and gave me some good pointers. I really appreciated the communication and videos she sent so I knew he was having a great time. I definitely recommend her services and will use her again in the future. Thank you!!”

“We left our little guy Charlie with Vanessa and family for 8 days and they were fantastic. We got lots of updates and pictures and knew immediately from our meet and greet that he was in great hands. Will most definitely use again in future and would highly recommend.”

About: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at a animal shelter back in my hometown. Growing up i had a shitzu, chihuahua and two male tabby cats. I used to house sit for my brother who has a golden retriever, pitbull, two cats and 4 rabbits. I understand animal behavior and their needs. I am very patient and loving I am currently off work so my schedule is very flexible and will be for the entire year or two. But will give plenty of notice if there are any changes I have a fenced yard, lots of space inside for pets. Can provide nutritional homemade food and fresh water. I also have a golden retriever puppy to socialize with other pets

About: I’ve had dogs and cats most of my life, my partner and I have been fostering dogs with Pound Rescue for 2 years. We currently have 1 dog and 3 cats and have between 1-2 foster dogs I’m currently working full time but most of my work is done on Weekends or from home, so during the day during the week I’m usually pretty wide open I have a fenced yard. I take my dog and any foster dogs that are ready to the off leash parks in Okotoks. Also do leash walks with my dog as I feel it’s good for him to have leash manners as well as being able to have a free run at the dog park
About: I've had pets in my family ever since I can remember. My cat was called Ginger and was such a kind soul he'd snuggle up in the chair with me while I read books. I also got a rabbit called Smokey when I was 11. My dad made him a huge cage with mesh bottom so he could eat the grass and dandelions in the summer outside. When I left to visit a friend, he would hop over the whole house looking for me. Currently my kids are grown and I live in a small pet free property and I'm missing my furry friends. I enjoy hanging out, grooming and playtime when they get the zoomies. Even cats, small animals that normally play shy usually come out to say hello when I'm around which sometimes surprises their owners. If you are looking for a loving fun environment for your cat, i'm your best option. I"m self employed and work my own hours so am able to come and go as needed. I mostly work from home so am around if they need anything or I need a break from the computer. I do great with a list of routines, feeding times that work for your fur baby and then I usually stick to what they are used to so they are most comfortable.

I am currently working full time from Monday-Friday. However, I have open availability on weekdays in the evenings and on the weekends. I have a trusted and reliable vehicle to ensure proper transportation to and from clients houses. I am a very trusted and responsible individual. I ensure the safety of both my clients animals and their house. I will always double check that the animals have what they need, are safe in the house and then make sure all windows and doors are locked before I leave.
About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet in my care like they’re my own. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and dogs with a wide range of temperaments—from energetic and playful to shy or anxious. I also provide thoughtful, low-stress care for cats, including feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, and companionship for both social and more independent kitties. I’m patient, attentive, and calm, which helps pets feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I tailor each walk, visit, or stay to your pet’s individual needs, energy level, and routine—whether that means a long walk, gentle enrichment, medication administration, or quiet cuddle time. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have experience working with large animals like horses, which has strengthened my ability to read animal behavior, handle responsibility, and stay calm and confident in any situation. Safety, trust, and reliability are always my top priorities. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have—medications, feeding schedules, training reinforcement, or special care needs. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pets are in loving, capable hands. If you’re looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to care for your furry (or whiskered!) family members. I work in childcare Monday through Friday until 4pm, which allows me plenty of availability for pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I enjoy fitting pet care into my routine and make sure each pet gets dependable, attentive care. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and your pet’s comfort at all times. I carefully follow your instructions, maintain routines, and keep environments calm and secure. I’m attentive to behavior and body language to ensure pets feel safe and relaxed!

“Andrea has been absolutely fantastic once again! This time, Eddie had to take three different medications, and administering them is no easy task — but Andrea handled it all with such care, patience, and professionalism. It’s such a relief knowing our boy is in such capable hands. We came home to a happy, calm cat, and we’re so grateful for her attention to detail and genuine love for animals. Highly recommend her!”

About: Our pets are our family. I'm so happy to be able to look after yours, and will treat them as my own. We recently had to let go of our 15 year old girls, so I know how to look after them in all stages of life, including giving them the medicine they need to be comfortable when they get older. I'm very happy to visit your babies and give them all the love they need. I can do drop in visits, house-sitting, and dog walking, and am flexible so can work with your schedule. I also volunteer as bunny hugger with the Calgary Humane Society, so also have a lot of experience with rabbits, and would also be happy to look after yours. All pets are welcome, and I will look after them with my whole heart. I'm currently living on an acreage, and volunteering with the Calgary Humane Society, Inn from the Cold, and the Calgary Library. I have all the love and time to look after your little ones, and can be flexible for what works for you. I am happy to visit your pet, giving food and medicine as needed, and all the treats and love. I would also be thrilled to take your pup out for a good walk and play. We will talk about your pets needs, and I will ensure they are comfortable, safe, and cared for.

“This was my first time using Rover, and it was amazing Whitney and her family were great! Avery had a great time at doggy day care. Whitney was great to communicate with and her family and dogs were great with my puppy. Will definitly be booking again :)”

“Yonathan and Lezette were very friendly and so accommodating. They gave us photo and message updates regularly and our Murphy seemed relaxed and happy. Would definitely book with them again! ☺️”

“A very experienced sitter. Christine is very organized with the dogs in her care. Mya and Decca were well taken care of and her husband helps out with care and cuddles as well. Nice home environment. 😍”

“Mariane and Toby were so good to our 9 week old puppy! They even helped us with her crate training and practiced the tricks that we have taught her so far! Every time we picked Willow up she’s tired out from all the physical and mental stimulation which is amazing to us after a full day of work. Their home is super pet friendly and they are the nicest people. Highly recommend as we will be rebooking with them. Thank you again!”

“Another successful day at Caitlin’s and Mabel’s house! This time Sam joined the crew. Lots of playtime and snuggles. Murphy came home tired after an exciting day. Just waiting for my kids to give Murph the doggy 🐶 treat from Caitlin. Thanks again for taking the best care of our pup!”

“I would give Rory 10 stars if I could. The experience was fantastic from beginning to end. You can see (and feel) that Rory is an animal lover when you meet him. He provided updates as needed. He’s my go-to person for sitting my dog from now on. Thank you Rory!”

“April accommodated my same day request and took Beau in for me. Normally when he stays at new people's places he doesn't eat much but he actually ate! He was in love with April's son. I think he had a great time there. Would have April and her son look after Beau again!”

About: Newcomers USE Promo code: SHEENW15608 to get 20 dollars off your first booking! I have a very personal approach to petsitting. I take only one guest at a time. So your dog will get all of my focus and will be in a very calm environment. My dog Marlo is very sweet and calm and is an excellent hostess to our guests. I have been away from Rover for awhile busy with clients I’ve had for many years but I would love to expand my clientele and look forward to giving your dog the best one on one care like they deserve.I have loved animals my whole life. In my late teens I had rabbits and for the last 30 years I have had dogs. Out of high school I worked as a vet tech in training for a year. Then from the age of 21 to my early 40s I was blessed to have 6 dogs in my life 3 of which were rescues. All were with me until their very senior years. I have learned so much from them. Most of my dogs were fairly close in age so they were young together and they grew old together. I had the joy of a pack and I have seen and learned so much through the lifetimes of six dogs, one of which was a paraplegic with IVDD. So I am experienced with special needs dogs, seniors, IVDD, manual bladder emptying, dog diapers, blindness, and palliative care. I am able to administer medications including injections and know CPR and what to do in other emergencies. My experiences have taught me empathy, how to serve selflessly and love unconditionally. When my last dog, who was a paraplegic, passed away I fostered a 4 year old female dachshund with IVDD and working with the rescue fully rehabilitated her. I adopted her (Marlo) in 2024 and she is a great hostess to our guest dogs. I get to meet so many perfect little souls and spend time giving them happy moments, comfort, and security while their moms and dads are at work or travelling. I am extremely capable with seniors and special needs dogs because I understand them and what they need medically, physically, and emotionally. All dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have many repeat clients I gained through word of mouth before I came to Rover and look forward to being more available to start meeting new Rover clients so, though I'm just becoming available, I can provide plenty of references from petsitting clients I've been booked with. *Please note my rate amount covers the the booking fee you pay to Rover and the 30 percent fee I pay to Rover I am retired so petcare is something I choose to do because I love it and so I don’t just work it around my routine. Instead I work the rest of my routine around it. I am home full time so your dog is with my dog and me all the time. I am in a pet friendly condo with a fenced in private dog yard for residents. The area has great parks and walk routes also.
About: Hi! I’m Steph, an experienced and caring dog lover. I have a friendly dog named Tom, who loves playing with other dogs, so I understand how important it is for pets to get the care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping your dog company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. With a deep love for animals and experience in providing a fun, social environment, your dog will be in great hands! Let’s set up a time to meet—Tom and I can’t wait to welcome your pup! I currently work from home, so I have a flexible and relaxed routine, with plenty of time, energy, and attention to keep your dog company. I have a spacious, fenced yard where your dog can safely play and explore. My friendly dog, Tom, will happily keep your fur baby company, making sure they feel comfortable and welcome. If needed, I can crate your dog for safety or quiet time, ensuring they feel secure and relaxed. I always tailor the care I provide to meet your dog's individual needs, whether it's extra playtime, calm companionship, or structured rest.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats all my life. I understand that every dog is different. Whether your dog is energetic and loves activity, prefers a quieter environment, or simply enjoys being around people, I will tailor their care to suit their personality and routine. I also share my home with Tiggy, my friendly and dog-social cat, so I have experience managing a multi-pet household. The comfort and safety of all animals in my care is always my top priority. I work from home which means your fur baby will have consistent supervision, companionship, and plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, walks, playtime, and relaxation. My home is located near pathways and green spaces, making it easy to provide regular exercise and outdoor enrichment. I only accept one dog at a time, which means your fur baby won't be competing for attention in a busy environment with multiple dogs. This allows me to focus on their individual needs, routine, and comfort level throughout the day. Most importantly, I treat every fur baby as if they were my own and provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and connected while you're away.
“Chelsea was wonderful! She was friendly and accommodating, quick to respond and communicated as needed. Loved her and will definitely book her again for our pup! I’m sure Nixie will miss her and Hudson!”

“Carla was absolutely wonderful with our 9 week-old Bernese Mountain pup! Working from home has been a challenge - trying to work efficiently and finding the time for play, potty breaks and naps. Carla was very accommodating and was able to spend a few hours with our pup in the comfort of our own home. Our pup loved her and we will certainly use her services again!”

“We are very grateful to finally have met Lucinda. Our 4 year old Labradoodle can be nervous and quite sensitive. However, Lucinda went above and beyond to make sure Daisy was comfortable before and during her walks. She even stopped by the day before the first scheduled walk to ensure that Daisy could get to know her better. Lucinda is the most conscientious and trustworthy dog walker, and we are very appreciative to have her help!”

About: We had a family dog for the past 12 years. He passed last year and we are looking for short-term pet companionship before we consider getting another dog full time. Full time work from home. We walk daily and are very active. I have the kids every other week and would like to sit a pet when they are here (and occasionally when they are not). Fenced yard, open plan house with lots of space. Older furniture so am ok with them on the couch. Kids have bunks so dogs wouldn’t sleep with kids. House backs onto path with lots of open space.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have been trusted to care for dogs (and cats) for about six years. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs and make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for! I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time during my days off to take care of your pets! I can also possibly be flexible about different days of the week, so let me know! I will follow your routines and requests, and pay close attention to each dog’s needs and behaviour. I’m communicative and make sure every walk or visit is fun and secure.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have never gone without having one by my side, so looking after them feels completely natural to me. While I was away at university, I even fostered a couple of dogs because I missed having that companionship so much it was incredibly rewarding to give them love and stability while they waited for their forever homes. I’m comfortable with a range of needs, from energetic puppies who benefit from consistent routines and basic training, to senior dogs who need a gentler, more attentive approach. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with every dog I care for as I treat them like my own. Recently, I lost my two dogs, and while I’m not quite ready to bring a new puppy into my home, caring for others’ pets feels like the perfect way to keep sharing that love, attention, and companionship that dogs deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority in my day. I’m currently working part-time with a chiropractic internship from Monday to Thursday, which still leaves me with plenty of time and energy to give your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m available on weekdays after 4pm as well as on weekends, making it easy for me to accommodate walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or overnight care. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. At my place, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and supervised play. There is also one friendly 2-year-old Havanese (my parents’ dog), so I’m mindful of introductions and always make sure all dogs feel comfortable and safe. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to have free roam of the house if preferred. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. My goal is always to create a trustworthy, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home.

About: Taking care of animals has always been a big part of my life. I grew up with pets and still share my home with them today, so being around animals feels natural to me. I’m not someone who rushes in and out. I take my time, pay attention, and make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for. I’m big on the little moments and always make space for extra affection, play, and quiet cuddle time. Over the years, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to watch their pets while they’re away, sometimes for days or even weeks. Those stats are filled with walks, meals, playtime, and most of all plenty of love that is never rushed. When your pet is with me, they’re treated just like my own, with patience, kindness, and genuine care. If you want someone who will care for your pets like family, I’d be happy to help. Pets are a big part of my daily life, and I love caring for them. I’m a first-year Open Studies student at the University of Calgary, and with a light course load, I have a flexible schedule to give your pets the attention they deserve. I also play on the Dino’s women’s soccer team, bringing the same energy, focus, and dedication to caring for pets as I do on the field. My own pets are spoiled with cuddles, playtime, and lots of affection, even on days when I’m not pet sitting. That same love and patience goes into caring for every animal I look after, whether they need walks, visits throughout the day, overnight care, or quiet lap time. I take my time with each pet and make sure they feel calm, comfortable, and truly cared for. I provide all pet care right in your home, so your cats, dogs, or other furry family members can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment with their favorite toys, cozy spots, and daily routines. I follow your instructions carefully, secure doors and windows, respect all household rules, and treat your home with the same care I would my own. With a lifelong love of animals, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s walks and playtime for dogs, gentle cuddles and chin scratches for cats, fresh meals and water, potty breaks, litter box care, or just quiet companionship, I give attention that’s tailored to each pet’s needs. Owners appreciate how relaxed and content their pets remain, knowing both their home and furry family members are in caring, trustworthy hands.

About: Pets have been my world my entire life, from childhood companions to the furry family members who still fill my home today. I’m not just a sitter; I’m the person who notices every little tail wag, who sits on the floor for extra cuddles, and who gives undivided attention because your animals deserve to feel truly loved and secure. For years, friends, family, and neighbors have counted on me to care for their pets during long absences where I spend time walking, feeding, playing, and spoiling them for days (or even weeks) at a time. No rushed visits here: your pets get my full heart and focus, just like my own. Choose me for care that’s deeply personal, endlessly patient, and built on a lifetime of real animal love. Pet care fits seamlessly and joyfully into my daily and weekly routine because I have a highly flexible schedule that lets me put animals first, always. Even on days when I’m not pet sitting, I make time to prioritize my own beloved animals: curling up for long snuggle sessions, giving endless chin scratches, playing fetch, and sharing affectionate moments that keep our bond strong. This same level of devotion carries over to every pet I care for, whether it’s multiple visits for walks and play, overnight stays, or just being present for lap time and gentle attention. I’m never rushed or distracted; your animals get my full heart and focus, just like mine do at home. I provide all pet care exclusively in your home, so your cats, dogs, or other furry family members never have to face the stress of a new environment. They stay surrounded by their familiar scents, favorite toys, cozy spots, and daily routines. Safety and trust come first: I follow your instructions precisely, secure doors and windows, respect all household rules, and treat your home with the utmost care, leaving everything exactly as I found it (or even tidier). With my lifelong passion for animals, I create a calm, loving atmosphere filled with tailored attention, whether it’s energetic play and walks for dogs, gentle lap time and chin scratches for cats, fresh meals and water on schedule, potty breaks, litter box scooping, or just quiet companionship so they feel completely secure and adored while you’re away. Owners love how relaxed, happy, and content their pets remain, knowing their home and beloved animals are in truly trustworthy, attentive hands.

About: Now that I have your attention with that clever headline, I am a 30 year old flight attendant that has grown up with animals my whole life. From bunnies, to cats, to dogs, they aren't just pets to me, they are family. This is a great opportunity for me to spend time with your fur-babies while providing the same care and attention that I would give to my own. I love long walks and can't wait to explore new places while getting to know your animal's personality! Trusting a stranger with your pet isn't easy but I'm confident in my ability to truly connect and provide for your animal's specific needs until you're back home. I'm currently taking some time off from flying so I have open availability. Message me if you have any questions! With an open availability, I'm excited to create an on going relationship with you and your pet. Ideally I'd prefer morning/afternoon appointments but I am also open to evening if needed :) Since I don’t have a yard, I have decided it’s in your pets best interest to only offer dog walking services and care at your home.
