“Our 5-year-old Pippin was a happy camper during his first holiday at Sandra’s and Jessie’s. He had, of course, met both of them at the ‘meet and greet’ at their home, but what really surprised us was how excited he was when we dropped him off. He knew precisely where we had taken him and he raced up their front steps and started barking with excitement at the front door. Clearly, Sandra and Jessie and their very sweet dog Daisy had made a great first impression! Both Sandra and Jessie are dog lovers and dog carers par excellence and that put Pippin and us at ease. Throughout Pippin’s two-week stay, Sandra sent us daily updates with photos, which was fun and informative. Pippin is an extremely well-behaved dog, so much so he never jumps on furniture (despite all our encouragement), but Sandra has a secret weapon—dog stairs for couch access!—and she taught Pippin how to use them. When I went to pick up Pippin, he was very excited to see me—lots of licks!—but he also turned to Sandra to give her licks, too, as if to say ‘thank you’. We have no doubt that Pippin will be delighted to spend more time with Sandra, Jessie and Daisy in the future!”

About: We have two cats for the past 10 year. We had taught them hand gestures to come and stay. Over the years they needed more dietary care. So we cook chicken for them every day. We regularly trim the cats nails, brush them and clean their ears.

About: I've had pets in my family ever since I can remember. My cat was called Ginger and was such a kind soul he'd snuggle up in the chair with me while I read books. I also got a rabbit called Smokey when I was 11. My dad made him a huge cage with mesh bottom so he could eat the grass and dandelions in the summer outside. When I left to visit a friend, he would hop over the whole house looking for me. Currently my kids are grown and I live in a small pet free property and I'm missing my furry friends. I enjoy hanging out, grooming and playtime when they get the zoomies. Even cats, small animals that normally play shy usually come out to say hello when I'm around which sometimes surprises their owners. If you are looking for a loving fun environment for your cat, i'm your best option. I"m self employed and work my own hours so am able to come and go as needed. I mostly work from home so am around if they need anything or I need a break from the computer. I am a retired stay at home grandma. I have owned Shih-Tzu/Shih-Tzu Bichon cross for25+ years. After having lost two, Molly to kidney issues and Buddy at 16, Oliver(5) is now my companion. I would love for him to have friends over to play ☺️ He needs some friendly company❤️ As I am retired, I do not work out of my home. On occasion my grand daughters (7/8) or grandson (9) come over, and they love pets. I go for long walks with my own dog most days, so pet sitting/walking fits my life style very well. I have a townhouse with a deck and patio, opening onto a green space. I am located across from a large grassed field and walking paths leading to parks and wetlands. About: You’re looking for someone to check on or help walk your dog? Look no further! I have a beautiful rescue mutt of my own and I’m always happy to have more dogs on our walks or to leave her at home to chill as she’s getting a little older. A huge fan of long walks (or runs if your pup is up for it) myself I am looking to get outside whatever the weather. I am all about positive reinforcement and gentle correction. I have experience training puppies and frequently take some of my friends dogs out for walks or to the dog park so if your pup is looking for their pack let me know! Shoot me a message and I can answer any of your questions and I’m excited to meet you and pets! I am always looking for an excuse to go for a walk or run. When I work from home I’m down for snuggles or play but even when I’m going into the office it’s nice to get out for multiple outings a day, if it gets busy, we always have the backyard to play in for a bit as well. Everything/everyone should be returned to you better than how you left them with me. Whether I’m dropping into your home or your dog is coming to mine, the condition of your house and dog will be better than when you left them with me. Even if it’s a dental chew, a tired dog, a little training, or cleaned up dog toys I try to do something extra every time.
