“Allison and her husband were absolutely fantastic with our two large dogs. We used Allison service over Christmas, which was absolutely amazing for us. They treated our dogs like their own and even walked them when it was freezing cold. They spoiled our dogs, rotten and took such amazing photos and made sure to share them with us. I can’t say enough about Allison. I would highly recommend her.”

“We had a wonderful greet and meet with Whitney. Our dog Ozzie got along very well with their dog and we loved her set up with the big backyard for the dogs to run around. Ozzie was so excited when we dropped him off he didn't look back and was just excited to stay at Whitney's house. Whitney also sent us pictures of Ozzie having fun and making himself at home. We will definitely be using Whitney again.”

“Dima was really great with my dog. She was nervous on arrival but Dima sent me updates on how she was doing, and she settled in really well. It was clear that Goldie was loved and cared for like one of her own, and she truly had the very best time. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of her and giving her a home away from home for such an extended period of time. We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to book with you again!”

They took very good care of our dog while we were away and made sure all of his needs were taken care of. They took him on regular walks, spent time with him, administered medication, and made sure he was comfortable and well looked after. They were also very friendly and easy to communicate with. It gave us a lot of peace of mind to receive frequent updates Overall, we are very happy with the service and will definitely choose them again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of our Bruno!”

“Leslie took care of my 3-yr-old high energy pup for a few days. The best part of my experience with Leslie: She kept me informed and updated, and I spent the days away from my pup knowing she was in good hand and that I didn’t have to worry about her at all. Highly recommend Leslie!”

“Awesome! That’s how I describe Sheena as a pet sitter. Top notch and caring, knowledgeable and sweet in every way💖. My little Peanut has a lot of issues and I think he was rehabilitated in so many ways in the week he stayed with Sheena. He’s less anxious and made new doggy friends. I almost don’t want to say too many positive things about Sheena in case she becomes too popular and I can’t get a booking with her! Lots of communication, photos and videos as well as great flexibility. Thanks so much Sheena, Marlo and Luna!”

“Kye and her family were fantastic. Mango loved her time and the undivided attention she was given. Kye was a super communicator and sent lots of pictures of Mango’s adventures. About: Hello, I’m Carla. I love animals, cats are unique and require individualized care which I am receptive to. - I go the extra mile to make your cat feel cared for and entertained - I have no problem cleaning out kitty litter

About: We have two cats for the past 10 year. We had taught them hand gestures to come and stay. Over the years they needed more dietary care. So we cook chicken for them every day. We regularly trim the cats nails, brush them and clean their ears.
About: I've had pets in my family ever since I can remember. My cat was called Ginger and was such a kind soul he'd snuggle up in the chair with me while I read books. I also got a rabbit called Smokey when I was 11. My dad made him a huge cage with mesh bottom so he could eat the grass and dandelions in the summer outside. When I left to visit a friend, he would hop over the whole house looking for me. Currently my kids are grown and I live in a small pet free property and I'm missing my furry friends. I enjoy hanging out, grooming and playtime when they get the zoomies. Even cats, small animals that normally play shy usually come out to say hello when I'm around which sometimes surprises their owners. If you are looking for a loving fun environment for your cat, i'm your best option. I"m self employed and work my own hours so am able to come and go as needed. I mostly work from home so am around if they need anything or I need a break from the computer. I do great with a list of routines, feeding times that work for your fur baby and then I usually stick to what they are used to so they are most comfortable.

I take my dog and any foster dogs that are ready to the off leash parks in Okotoks. Also do leash walks with my dog as I feel it’s good for him to have leash manners as well as being able to have a free run at the dog park
About: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at a animal shelter back in my hometown. Growing up i had a shitzu, chihuahua and two male tabby cats. I used to house sit for my brother who has a golden retriever, pitbull, two cats and 4 rabbits. I understand animal behavior and their needs. I am very patient and loving I am currently off work so my schedule is very flexible and will be for the entire year or two. But will give plenty of notice if there are any changes I have a fenced yard, lots of space inside for pets. Can provide nutritional homemade food and fresh water. I also have a golden retriever puppy to socialize with other pets
About: I have been a dog owner for 9+ years. I grew up having larger dogs- husky/wolf, St. Bernard, German Shepard and I now have a Bully/Ridgeback/mastiff & Black lab, Sharp Pei/bully! Over the years I have had the pleasure to be apart of a Dog foster program and had a handful of pups- including a momma dog and her puppies in our home. I have experience with bully breeds and labs! I am an EA during the school months and now that school is out for the Summer, I'm available 7 days a week for the months of July and August, morning to evenings! I’m a calm, reliable, and caring person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I’m the kind of person who shows up when I say I will. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable with someone looking after your pet or entering your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. I aim to provide consistent, gentle care so your pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you're away or at work.
About: I have been helping my friends and family with their animals since I was 15 years old. I have a passion for animals and it continues to grow as I get older. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats of any breads. I am a certified dog trainer and groomer and am even comfortable with dispensing of medications the animals need. I am currently working full time from Monday-Friday. However, I have open availability on weekdays in the evenings and on the weekends. I have a trusted and reliable vehicle to ensure proper transportation to and from clients houses. I am a very trusted and responsible individual. I ensure the safety of both my clients animals and their house. I will always double check that the animals have what they need, are safe in the house and then make sure all windows and doors are locked before I leave.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have never gone without having one by my side, so looking after them feels completely natural to me. While I was away at university, I even fostered a couple of dogs because I missed having that companionship so much it was incredibly rewarding to give them love and stability while they waited for their forever homes. I’m comfortable with a range of needs, from energetic puppies who benefit from consistent routines and basic training, to senior dogs who need a gentler, more attentive approach. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with every dog I care for as I treat them like my own. Recently, I lost my two dogs, and while I’m not quite ready to bring a new puppy into my home, caring for others’ pets feels like the perfect way to keep sharing that love, attention, and companionship that dogs deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority in my day. I’m currently working part-time with a chiropractic internship from Monday to Thursday, which still leaves me with plenty of time and energy to give your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m available on weekdays after 4pm as well as on weekends, making it easy for me to accommodate walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or overnight care. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. At my place, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and supervised play. There is also one friendly 2-year-old Havanese (my parents’ dog), so I’m mindful of introductions and always make sure all dogs feel comfortable and safe. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to have free roam of the house if preferred. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. My goal is always to create a trustworthy, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home.

About: Our pets are our family. I'm so happy to be able to look after yours, and will treat them as my own. I'm very happy to visit your babies and give them all the love they need. I can do drop in visits, house-sitting, and dog walking, and am flexible so can work with your schedule. I also volunteer as bunny hugger with the Calgary Humane Society, so also have a lot of experience with rabbits, and would also be happy to look after yours. All pets are welcome, and I will look after them with my whole heart. I'm currently living on an acreage, and volunteering with the Calgary Humane Society, Inn from the Cold, and the Calgary Library. I have all the love and time to look after your little ones, and can be flexible for what works for you. I am happy to visit your pet, giving food and medicine as needed, and all the treats and love. I would also be thrilled to take your pup out for a good walk and play. We will talk about your pets needs, and I will ensure they are comfortable, safe, and cared for.

“Remington my one year old Cocker Spaniel visited Whitney for one afternoon. He came back happy and was so tired from playing with the other dogs and the walk. Glad I found someone that Remington is comfortable with and enjoy going to visit. Will definitely be booking with Whitney in the near future.”

“Christine treats Ellie like family, she always has a blast with all her doggie pals there and comes home ready for a nap! Great communication, lots of picture/video updates throughout the day. Thanks Christine!!”

“Yonathan and Lezette were awesome! They looked after our Murphy on very short notice, followed all of our instructions for his restricted diet, took lots of photos, and even took him on an extra walk. We would love to work with them again!”

“Our pup Murphy had the best time with Caitlin! She took such good care of him. Her dog Mabel was great socialization for Murphy. He was active all day, with periodic snoozes and cuddles. Caitlin put us at ease, she took lots of pictures, they had long walks and activities. We were so happy with how Caitlin looked after our pup. I would recommend her hands down. We will be back again! Thanks Caitlin and Mabel.”

“Mariane and Toby were so good to our 9 week old puppy! They even helped us with her crate training and practiced the tricks that we have taught her so far! Every time we picked Willow up she’s tired out from all the physical and mental stimulation which is amazing to us after a full day of work. Their home is super pet friendly and they are the nicest people. Highly recommend as we will be rebooking with them. Thank you again!”

About: Newcomers USE Promo code: SHEENW15608 to get 20 dollars off your first booking! I have a very personal approach to petsitting. I take only one guest at a time. So your dog will get all of my focus and will be in a very calm environment. My dog Marlo is very sweet and calm and is an excellent hostess to our guests. I have been away from Rover for awhile busy with clients I’ve had for many years but I would love to expand my clientele and look forward to giving your dog the best one on one care like they deserve.I have loved animals my whole life. In my late teens I had rabbits and for the last 30 years I have had dogs. Out of high school I worked as a vet tech in training for a year. Then from the age of 21 to my early 40s I was blessed to have 6 dogs in my life 3 of which were rescues. All were with me until their very senior years. I have learned so much from them. Most of my dogs were fairly close in age so they were young together and they grew old together. I had the joy of a pack and I have seen and learned so much through the lifetimes of six dogs, one of which was a paraplegic with IVDD. So I am experienced with special needs dogs, seniors, IVDD, manual bladder emptying, dog diapers, blindness, and palliative care. I am able to administer medications including injections and know CPR and what to do in other emergencies. My experiences have taught me empathy, how to serve selflessly and love unconditionally. When my last dog, who was a paraplegic, passed away I fostered a 4 year old female dachshund with IVDD and working with the rescue fully rehabilitated her. I adopted her (Marlo) in 2024 and she is a great hostess to our guest dogs. I get to meet so many perfect little souls and spend time giving them happy moments, comfort, and security while their moms and dads are at work or travelling. I am extremely capable with seniors and special needs dogs because I understand them and what they need medically, physically, and emotionally. All dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have many repeat clients I gained through word of mouth before I came to Rover and look forward to being more available to start meeting new Rover clients so, though I'm just becoming available, I can provide plenty of references from petsitting clients I've been booked with. *Please note my rate amount covers the the booking fee you pay to Rover and the 30 percent fee I pay to Rover I am retired so petcare is something I choose to do because I love it and so I don’t just work it around my routine. Instead I work the rest of my routine around it. I am home full time so your dog is with my dog and me all the time. I am in a pet friendly condo with a fenced in private dog yard for residents. The area has great parks and walk routes also.
“Katherine was so accommodating with my specific needs and even the last minute booking!! My dog came home tired and happy! Will definitely be calling Katherine again!”
“Marina was excellent! She sent so many updates throughout the day which I really appreciated. My dog loved her, her husband and their son. Will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Heidi is awesome to communicate with and Ruby loved her walk!! She sent photos when the walk was done as well :) so nice to have someone trustworthy to stop in when we are away for a few hours and give our Ruby a little outing!! Highly recommend!”

“Carla was absolutely wonderful with our 9 week-old Bernese Mountain pup! Working from home has been a challenge - trying to work efficiently and finding the time for play, potty breaks and naps. Carla was very accommodating and was able to spend a few hours with our pup in the comfort of our own home. Our pup loved her and we will certainly use her services again!”

“We are very grateful to finally have met Lucinda. Our 4 year old Labradoodle can be nervous and quite sensitive. However, Lucinda went above and beyond to make sure Daisy was comfortable before and during her walks. She even stopped by the day before the first scheduled walk to ensure that Daisy could get to know her better. Lucinda is the most conscientious and trustworthy dog walker, and we are very appreciative to have her help!”

About: I have always had pets as a child and continued to take care of animals throughout my entire lifetime. As a child, I was able to observe how they behaved and interacted with one another, which allowed me to learn their habits, needs, and different personalities, e.g., energetic puppies; timid pets; and elderly pets that require a gentler approach. What distinguishes me from others is my ability to be patient, dependable, and my excellent communication skills, something that I have developed while studying to become a Social Worker. I know how to listen actively and remain calm in stressful situations, as well as being compassionate, all of which greatly contribute to providing safe, reliable, and loving care for animals. I take time to understand each animal's behaviour and routine, as well as any special needs, so they can be comfortable and enjoy being cared for while you are away. My aspiration is to treat each pet as if it were my own and to always create the best possible experience, with little or no stress for the owner or pet. I’ve incorporated my dog-walking services and other services naturally into my schedule. This allows me to walk your pet during the day, visit and/or stay with them while you work or are away. I will always be reliable with regard to timing and communication. I carefully plan my schedule so that I can give every pet that I look after proper exercise and attention on a consistent basis, and I make sure that each pet's daily routine is closely adhered to (this would include feeding, walking, medication, or playtime). Most evenings and weekends are open, and are ideal for long stays or extra visits. Your fur-baby is my top priority when caring for them, I make it my mission to protect your pet and give them the best care they need!

About: We had a family dog for the past 12 years. He passed last year and we are looking for short-term pet companionship before we consider getting another dog full time. Full time work from home. We walk daily and are very active. I have the kids every other week and would like to sit a pet when they are here (and occasionally when they are not). Fenced yard, open plan house with lots of space. Older furniture so am ok with them on the couch. Kids have bunks so dogs wouldn’t sleep with kids. House backs onto path with lots of open space.
About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have been trusted to care for dogs (and cats) for about six years. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs and make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for! I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time during my days off to take care of your pets! I can also possibly be flexible about different days of the week, so let me know! I will follow your routines and requests, and pay close attention to each dog’s needs and behaviour. I’m communicative and make sure every walk or visit is fun and secure.
About: Now that I have your attention with that clever headline, I am a 30 year old flight attendant that has grown up with animals my whole life. From bunnies, to cats, to dogs, they aren't just pets to me, they are family. This is a great opportunity for me to spend time with your fur-babies while providing the same care and attention that I would give to my own. I love long walks and can't wait to explore new places while getting to know your animal's personality! Trusting a stranger with your pet isn't easy but I'm confident in my ability to truly connect and provide for your animal's specific needs until you're back home. I'm currently taking some time off from flying so I have open availability. Message me if you have any questions! With an open availability, I'm excited to create an on going relationship with you and your pet. Ideally I'd prefer morning/afternoon appointments but I am also open to evening if needed :) Since I don’t have a yard, I have decided it’s in your pets best interest to only offer dog walking services and care at your home.

About: Taking care of animals has always been a big part of my life. I grew up with pets and still share my home with them today, so being around animals feels natural to me. I’m not someone who rushes in and out. I take my time, pay attention, and make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for. I’m big on the little moments and always make space for extra affection, play, and quiet cuddle time. Over the years, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to watch their pets while they’re away, sometimes for days or even weeks. Those stats are filled with walks, meals, playtime, and most of all plenty of love that is never rushed. When your pet is with me, they’re treated just like my own, with patience, kindness, and genuine care. If you want someone who will care for your pets like family, I’d be happy to help. Pets are a big part of my daily life, and I love caring for them. I’m a first-year Open Studies student at the University of Calgary, and with a light course load, I have a flexible schedule to give your pets the attention they deserve. I also play on the Dino’s women’s soccer team, bringing the same energy, focus, and dedication to caring for pets as I do on the field. My own pets are spoiled with cuddles, playtime, and lots of affection, even on days when I’m not pet sitting. That same love and patience goes into caring for every animal I look after, whether they need walks, visits throughout the day, overnight care, or quiet lap time. I take my time with each pet and make sure they feel calm, comfortable, and truly cared for. I provide all pet care right in your home, so your cats, dogs, or other furry family members can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment with their favorite toys, cozy spots, and daily routines. I follow your instructions carefully, secure doors and windows, respect all household rules, and treat your home with the same care I would my own. With a lifelong love of animals, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s walks and playtime for dogs, gentle cuddles and chin scratches for cats, fresh meals and water, potty breaks, litter box care, or just quiet companionship, I give attention that’s tailored to each pet’s needs. Owners appreciate how relaxed and content their pets remain, knowing both their home and furry family members are in caring, trustworthy hands.

I take my dog and any foster dogs that are ready to the off leash parks in Okotoks. Also do leash walks with my dog as I feel it’s good for him to have leash manners as well as being able to have a free run at the dog park
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the level of patience, empathy, and genuine connection I build with every animal in my care. I don’t just follow routines, I learn each pet’s personality, comforts, and quirks to make sure they feel safe, seen, and loved. From gentle encouragement for shy companions to playful engagement for energetic ones, I tailor every moment to their needs. I believe the best pet care combines trust, communication, and heartfelt attention, giving owners peace of mind and pets a home-away-from-home experience filled with comfort, joy, and understanding. I am currently available on both weekdays and weekends for any of the services listed, and I’m happy to accommodate your schedule — whether it’s early mornings, evenings, or last-minute needs. Flexibility and reliability are at the heart of my service, so you can count on me to be there whenever your pet needs care and attention. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routines, respect their space, and make sure they always feel comfortable and secure. I prioritize clean, calm environments and pay close attention to each pet’s cues, needs, and safety, from double checking doors and gates to ensuring they have fresh water, proper feeding, and plenty of affection and enrichment. I also maintain clear communication with pet parents, providing updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you're away

About: Pets have been my world my entire life, from childhood companions to the furry family members who still fill my home today. I’m not just a sitter; I’m the person who notices every little tail wag, who sits on the floor for extra cuddles, and who gives undivided attention because your animals deserve to feel truly loved and secure. For years, friends, family, and neighbors have counted on me to care for their pets during long absences where I spend time walking, feeding, playing, and spoiling them for days (or even weeks) at a time. No rushed visits here: your pets get my full heart and focus, just like my own. Choose me for care that’s deeply personal, endlessly patient, and built on a lifetime of real animal love. Pet care fits seamlessly and joyfully into my daily and weekly routine because I have a highly flexible schedule that lets me put animals first, always. Even on days when I’m not pet sitting, I make time to prioritize my own beloved animals: curling up for long snuggle sessions, giving endless chin scratches, playing fetch, and sharing affectionate moments that keep our bond strong. This same level of devotion carries over to every pet I care for, whether it’s multiple visits for walks and play, overnight stays, or just being present for lap time and gentle attention. I’m never rushed or distracted; your animals get my full heart and focus, just like mine do at home. I provide all pet care exclusively in your home, so your cats, dogs, or other furry family members never have to face the stress of a new environment. They stay surrounded by their familiar scents, favorite toys, cozy spots, and daily routines. Safety and trust come first: I follow your instructions precisely, secure doors and windows, respect all household rules, and treat your home with the utmost care, leaving everything exactly as I found it (or even tidier). With my lifelong passion for animals, I create a calm, loving atmosphere filled with tailored attention, whether it’s energetic play and walks for dogs, gentle lap time and chin scratches for cats, fresh meals and water on schedule, potty breaks, litter box scooping, or just quiet companionship so they feel completely secure and adored while you’re away. Owners love how relaxed, happy, and content their pets remain, knowing their home and beloved animals are in truly trustworthy, attentive hands.
