“Diana and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. We received daily notes and photos and videos during our week away. Thank you Diana for looking after Blossom.”

“Jeff and his family took such a good care of Scooby. Scooby is a very anxious dog. This was Scooby's first boarding experience and looks like he loved it. They send pictures everyday and updated us as well about day to day activities. Will be booking back for sure! Thank you for everything you guys did for our little Scooby.”

“Michelle was responsive and accommodating with our dog. We very much appreciate her care for him over the weekend, and when we picked him up, he was in good spirits and apparently well cared for. Recommended!”

“We are so grateful for Whitney and her family! From the moment we met her, we felt an immediate sense of ease dropping off our pup. She takes such great care of him and always sends us updates. We have booked with her several times and feel very happy to have found her ❤️”

“It was so nice to be able to relax knowing that Dexter was so happy at Leslie’s. She gave us updates and took all our advice so that Dexter didn’t feel anxious with her. With the awful weather, we had all kinds of travel issues and she was very flexible taking Dexter in very early and keeping him late. We truly appreciate it and will be continuing to have Dexter go there when we need it.”

“So appreciative of their care for our Shadow and an update / photos every day. We knew she was in good hands and she had fun with Sandra, Jessie, Daisy and other guests! Thank you so much! Will definitely book with them again.”

“Allison and her husband were absolutely fantastic with our two large dogs. We used Allison service over Christmas, which was absolutely amazing for us. They treated our dogs like their own and even walked them when it was freezing cold. They spoiled our dogs, rotten and took such amazing photos and made sure to share them with us. I can’t say enough about Allison. I would highly recommend her.”

“Desiree was absolutely amazing and lovely! She treated Chico like a part of her family as if he was her own. She followed all the instructions and even went above and beyond to make Chico’s stay comfortable! She truly loves and adores dogs.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Dima gave our husky mix, Shammy. From the very first walk, it was clear how much Dima genuinely loves dogs — Shammy warmed up right away and was so excited when he saw him. He came back happy, calm, and well-exercised (which says a lot for a husky!). It’s such a relief knowing our pup is in such kind and capable hands. We’re so grateful and would absolutely reccommed Dima! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Awesome! That’s how I describe Sheena as a pet sitter. Top notch and caring, knowledgeable and sweet in every way💖. My little Peanut has a lot of issues and I think he was rehabilitated in so many ways in the week he stayed with Sheena. He’s less anxious and made new doggy friends. I almost don’t want to say too many positive things about Sheena in case she becomes too popular and I can’t get a booking with her! Lots of communication, photos and videos as well as great flexibility. Thanks so much Sheena, Marlo and Luna!”

“Lori & Wayne was very welcoming. Made me feel comfortable leaving Lucy for the first time. Thank you for the clear & quick communication and constant updates. Lucy will be seeing you again sooner or later! 😄”

“Amazing sitters! I had 2 of my babies go for an overnight sleepover at their home and they were so great with my dogs. They sent lots of videos and photos throughout the night with updates and it made me feel so comfortable knowing they were really well taken care of and happy staying there. My chihuahua is having a hard time learning to pee in the right places and they were even okay that there may be an accident since she sometimes gets confused which is her pee pad and which is a floor mat. So thrilled with finding this wonderful couple, we will absolutely use them again 😊”

“Andrew and Robin were awesome, Lady was at home within minutes of arriving. We were kept well informed with pictures and videos the whole time and Lady looked to be having a great time with them.”

About: We have over a decade of hands on experience caring for dogs at all stages of life, from energetic pups to seniors who need a little extra care and attention. We’re comfortable caring for senior dogs with arthritis or mobility challenges, including administering medications, helping with lifting when needed, and recognizing when a dog needs to slow down, rest, or have a quieter day. At the same time, we understand that every dog has different needs. Having raised an Australian Shepherd, we know firsthand how much exercise, stimulation, structure, and engagement high energy dogs require. We love getting outside for walks, playtime, and adventures, while making sure each dog’s individual energy level and comfort are respected. Our goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while in our care. We are genuine dog lovers and treat every dog like they are our family. Pet care fits naturally into our lifestyle! I work part-time shift work, while my partner works a regular monday to friday job, so we have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give dogs the attention and care they need. We love having dogs around and are happy to include them in our daily routine with walks, playtime, outdoor time, and plenty of cuddles. We’re especially interested in longer stays when our schedules allow, as well as weekend stays and boarding during our time off. We’re happy to work with each dog’s individual routine and make their stay feel as much like home as possible! Our home is a safe, comfortable, and dog-friendly environment where your pup can feel right at home. We have a large, fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and a dog proofed home where dogs can relax and settle into their own routine. We take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any special needs before their stay. We provide plenty of supervision, exercise, playtime, and attention, while also recognizing when a dog needs some quiet time or a rest. Your dog will be treated as part of the family while they’re with us....with lots of love, patience, cuddles, and care. Our priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have never gone without having one by my side, so looking after them feels completely natural to me. While I was away at university, I even fostered a couple of dogs because I missed having that companionship so much it was incredibly rewarding to give them love and stability while they waited for their forever homes. I’m comfortable with a range of needs, from energetic puppies who benefit from consistent routines and basic training, to senior dogs who need a gentler, more attentive approach. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I build with every dog I care for as I treat them like my own. Recently, I lost my two dogs, and while I’m not quite ready to bring a new puppy into my home, caring for others’ pets feels like the perfect way to keep sharing that love, attention, and companionship that dogs deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority in my day. I’m currently working part-time with a chiropractic internship from Monday to Thursday, which still leaves me with plenty of time and energy to give your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m available on weekdays after 4pm as well as on weekends, making it easy for me to accommodate walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or overnight care. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. At my place, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and supervised play. There is also one friendly 2-year-old Havanese (my parents’ dog), so I’m mindful of introductions and always make sure all dogs feel comfortable and safe. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to have free roam of the house if preferred. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. My goal is always to create a trustworthy, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home.

About: Our pets are our family. I'm so happy to be able to look after yours, and will treat them as my own. We recently had to let go of our 15 year old girls, so I know how to look after them in all stages of life, including giving them the medicine they need to be comfortable when they get older. I'm very happy to visit your babies and give them all the love they need. I can do drop in visits, house-sitting, and dog walking, and am flexible so can work with your schedule. I also volunteer as bunny hugger with the Calgary Humane Society, so also have a lot of experience with rabbits, and would also be happy to look after yours. All pets are welcome, and I will look after them with my whole heart. I'm currently living on an acreage, and volunteering with the Calgary Humane Society, Inn from the Cold, and the Calgary Library. I have all the love and time to look after your little ones, and can be flexible for what works for you. I am happy to visit your pet, giving food and medicine as needed, and all the treats and love. I would also be thrilled to take your pup out for a good walk and play. We will talk about your pets needs, and I will ensure they are comfortable, safe, and cared for.
“What a treat to have Étienne take our little one while we surfed!!! She had a blast and slept for the rest of the day!!! It was no nice to have Étienne in Tofino. We were able to enjoy our holiday and she didn’t have to stay home. Would highly recommend for all other fur babies.”

About: Newcomers USE Promo code: SHEENW15608 to get 20 dollars off your first booking! I have a very personal approach to petsitting. I take only one guest at a time. So your dog will get all of my focus and will be in a very calm environment. My dog Marlo is very sweet and calm and is an excellent hostess to our guests. I have been away from Rover for awhile busy with clients I’ve had for many years but I would love to expand my clientele and look forward to giving your dog the best one on one care like they deserve.I have loved animals my whole life. In my late teens I had rabbits and for the last 30 years I have had dogs. Out of high school I worked as a vet tech in training for a year. Then from the age of 21 to my early 40s I was blessed to have 6 dogs in my life 3 of which were rescues. All were with me until their very senior years. I have learned so much from them. Most of my dogs were fairly close in age so they were young together and they grew old together. I had the joy of a pack and I have seen and learned so much through the lifetimes of six dogs, one of which was a paraplegic with IVDD. So I am experienced with special needs dogs, seniors, IVDD, manual bladder emptying, dog diapers, blindness, and palliative care. I am able to administer medications including injections and know CPR and what to do in other emergencies. My experiences have taught me empathy, how to serve selflessly and love unconditionally. When my last dog, who was a paraplegic, passed away I fostered a 4 year old female dachshund with IVDD and working with the rescue fully rehabilitated her. I adopted her (Marlo) in 2024 and she is a great hostess to our guest dogs. I get to meet so many perfect little souls and spend time giving them happy moments, comfort, and security while their moms and dads are at work or travelling. I am extremely capable with seniors and special needs dogs because I understand them and what they need medically, physically, and emotionally. All dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have many repeat clients I gained through word of mouth before I came to Rover and look forward to being more available to start meeting new Rover clients so, though I'm just becoming available, I can provide plenty of references from petsitting clients I've been booked with. *Please note my rate amount covers the the booking fee you pay to Rover and the 30 percent fee I pay to Rover I am retired so petcare is something I choose to do because I love it and so I don’t just work it around my routine. Instead I work the rest of my routine around it. I am home full time so your dog is with my dog and me all the time. I am in a pet friendly condo with a fenced in private dog yard for residents. The area has great parks and walk routes also.

I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, basic grooming, administering treats, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I’m also happy to maintain their usual routines and provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care so both pets and their owners can feel comfortable and confident while they’re apart.
“Gail and Ross looked after our 4 year old Havanese and we could not be happier with the loving care and attention he received. They let him settle in at his own pace and gave him lots of snuggles and belly runs when he was ready. Their home and backyard are very dog friendly and we would definitely use their pet sitting services again should we ever find ourselves back in Okotoks.”

“I had to look for a sitter for my puppy who has seperation anxiety and found Samantha. Samantha was really patient and loving with my puppy who was extremely hyper and in the biting phase. Samantha kept me posted with pictures and videos of my pooch while I was at my job training which helped with my own seperation anxiety from my pup. I would definitely recommend Samantha as a person to care for your pooch.”

I work from home, so I’m available throughout the day to give your pet plenty of companionship, attention, potty breaks, and supervision rather than leaving them alone for hours. I’m available for boarding and pet care throughout the week and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times when possible. We have a secure, fenced yard where pets can safely enjoy some outdoor time, play, explore, and get their zoomies out! “Carla was absolutely wonderful with our 9 week-old Bernese Mountain pup! Working from home has been a challenge - trying to work efficiently and finding the time for play, potty breaks and naps. Carla was very accommodating and was able to spend a few hours with our pup in the comfort of our own home. Our pup loved her and we will certainly use her services again!”

However, Lucinda went above and beyond to make sure Daisy was comfortable before and during her walks. She even stopped by the day before the first scheduled walk to ensure that Daisy could get to know her better. Lucinda is the most conscientious and trustworthy dog walker, and we are very appreciative to have her help!”

“Etienne did great with our pup! He was happy to meet with us before the walk day to make sure Etta knew him and was really easy going. Etta had a lot of fun and was very well taken care of. Will definitely rebook next time we're in Tofino!”

“My pup loved spending time with Ania and her family! It was a relief to find such a trustworthy sitter. I highly recommend her services. I'm definitely hiring her again!”
“My dog is very old (17 and a half years) and was rejected to stay at the kennel this time because of his age. At her house, he seems to have had a good time! Usually he doesn't eat much while being away, but he seems well fed and healthy after the stay, which didn't happen before. I hope to use her service in the future. Thank you!”

“Scott and Carly were amazing with Stella during her 2 night stay. They are so kind and caring and exceptional with communication. They handled all of Stella’s little quirks wonderfully. We were able to enjoy our time away even more knowing she was in such loving hands. Thanks Scott and Carly!”

“We dropped our dog off at Kayla's house for the day, and she was fantastic! Ruby had a wonderful time with Kayla, and we were sent photos and updates throughout the day. 10/10 would recommend Kayla!”

“Olga watched our dog Nacho for 3 nights. She was really flexible and responsive to our needs as we went through the process of boarding for the first time. During Nacho's stay, we got lots of updates, pictures and videos and it seemed that Nacho was comfortable there!”

“This was our first time leaving our dog boarding, and we were naturally a bit nervous. Shannon kindly agreed to meet us for a meet-and-greet days before we dropped our dog. During our trip, she kept us updated with several pictures and messages, showing how well our dog was settling into her home. Shannon was also incredibly understanding when our flight was delayed, accommodating our change in pick-up time. It was clear our dog had a wonderful time under her care, we will definitely use her services again in the future !”

“Lori & Wayne was very welcoming. Made me feel comfortable leaving Lucy for the first time. Thank you for the clear & quick communication and constant updates. Lucy will be seeing you again sooner or later! 😄”

“Really appreciate the updates everyday, it helped us enjoy our trip even more knowing our pup was in good hands! Lacey also welcomed our pup with such short notice since our other sitter cancelled on us, so she truly is a life saver! I definitely would choose Lacey again for future visits!”

“Riell was great with Link! She sent updates and photos every day and treated him as family during the stay! It was our first time using Rover and she did a great job explaining everything and making us feel comfortable leaving our pup. We will definitely use her again!”
