About: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I used to volunteer at a animal shelter back in my hometown. Growing up i had a shitzu, chihuahua and two male tabby cats. I used to house sit for my brother who has a golden retriever, pitbull, two cats and 4 rabbits. I understand animal behavior and their needs. I am very patient and loving I am currently off work so my schedule is very flexible and will be for the entire year or two. But will give plenty of notice if there are any changes I have a fenced yard, lots of space inside for pets. Can provide nutritional homemade food and fresh water. I also have a golden retriever puppy to socialize with other pets
About: Our pets are our family. I'm so happy to be able to look after yours, and will treat them as my own. We recently had to let go of our 15 year old girls, so I know how to look after them in all stages of life, including giving them the medicine they need to be comfortable when they get older. I'm very happy to visit your babies and give them all the love they need. I can do drop in visits, house-sitting, and dog walking, and am flexible so can work with your schedule. I also volunteer as bunny hugger with the Calgary Humane Society, so also have a lot of experience with rabbits, and would also be happy to look after yours. All pets are welcome, and I will look after them with my whole heart. I'm currently living on an acreage, and volunteering with the Calgary Humane Society, Inn from the Cold, and the Calgary Library. I have all the love and time to look after your little ones, and can be flexible for what works for you. I am happy to visit your pet, giving food and medicine as needed, and all the treats and love. I would also be thrilled to take your pup out for a good walk and play. We will talk about your pets needs, and I will ensure they are comfortable, safe, and cared for.

“Chester loves going to Whitney’s house. He is so excited when he gets there and is absolutely worn out when we pick him up. I love knowing he is so loved when he’s there.”

“A very experienced sitter. Christine is very organized with the dogs in her care. Mya and Decca were well taken care of and her husband helps out with care and cuddles as well. Nice home environment. 😍”

“Yonathan and Lezette were awesome! They looked after our Murphy on very short notice, followed all of our instructions for his restricted diet, took lots of photos, and even took him on an extra walk. We would love to work with them again!”

“Our pup Murphy had the best time with Caitlin! She took such good care of him. Her dog Mabel was great socialization for Murphy. He was active all day, with periodic snoozes and cuddles. Caitlin put us at ease, she took lots of pictures, they had long walks and activities. We were so happy with how Caitlin looked after our pup. I would recommend her hands down. We will be back again! Thanks Caitlin and Mabel.”

“Mariane and Toby were so good to our 9 week old puppy! They even helped us with her crate training and practiced the tricks that we have taught her so far! Every time we picked Willow up she’s tired out from all the physical and mental stimulation which is amazing to us after a full day of work. Their home is super pet friendly and they are the nicest people. Highly recommend as we will be rebooking with them. Thank you again!”

“Thank you for being so patient with Kimi and her wild stair zoomies — she’s oddly obsessed with them! She had such a great time and was completely knocked out afterward. Really appreciate the care and energy you bring!”

“April is great! Good communication with updates throughout the day. Took our pup out on 2 walks during the day as well. We are starting day care leading up to a week long stay over Christmas and to increase our dogs social skills and comfort in new places! We are super happy with Aprils care.”

About: Newcomers USE Promo code: SHEENW15608 to get 20 dollars off your first booking! I have a very personal approach to petsitting. I take only one guest at a time. So your dog will get all of my focus and will be in a very calm environment. My dog Marlo is very sweet and calm and is an excellent hostess to our guests. I have been away from Rover for awhile busy with clients I’ve had for many years but I would love to expand my clientele and look forward to giving your dog the best one on one care like they deserve.I have loved animals my whole life. In my late teens I had rabbits and for the last 30 years I have had dogs. Out of high school I worked as a vet tech in training for a year. Then from the age of 21 to my early 40s I was blessed to have 6 dogs in my life 3 of which were rescues. All were with me until their very senior years. I have learned so much from them. Most of my dogs were fairly close in age so they were young together and they grew old together. I had the joy of a pack and I have seen and learned so much through the lifetimes of six dogs, one of which was a paraplegic with IVDD. So I am experienced with special needs dogs, seniors, IVDD, manual bladder emptying, dog diapers, blindness, and palliative care. I am able to administer medications including injections and know CPR and what to do in other emergencies. My experiences have taught me empathy, how to serve selflessly and love unconditionally. When my last dog, who was a paraplegic, passed away I fostered a 4 year old female dachshund with IVDD and working with the rescue fully rehabilitated her. I adopted her (Marlo) in 2024 and she is a great hostess to our guest dogs. I get to meet so many perfect little souls and spend time giving them happy moments, comfort, and security while their moms and dads are at work or travelling. I am extremely capable with seniors and special needs dogs because I understand them and what they need medically, physically, and emotionally. All dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have many repeat clients I gained through word of mouth before I came to Rover and look forward to being more available to start meeting new Rover clients so, though I'm just becoming available, I can provide plenty of references from petsitting clients I've been booked with. *Please note my rate amount covers the the booking fee you pay to Rover and the 30 percent fee I pay to Rover I am retired so petcare is something I choose to do because I love it and so I don’t just work it around my routine. Instead I work the rest of my routine around it. I am home full time so your dog is with my dog and me all the time. I am in a pet friendly condo with a fenced in private dog yard for residents. The area has great parks and walk routes also.
“This was our first time using Jolene. She was quick to respond to our short notice request and was very accommodating. Rosie had a wonderful day and was exhausted when she got home. Actually, she was still tired the next day, so I think she had a blast. Thanks Jolene!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats all my life. I understand that every dog is different. Whether your dog is energetic and loves activity, prefers a quieter environment, or simply enjoys being around people, I will tailor their care to suit their personality and routine. I also share my home with Tiggy, my friendly and dog-social cat, so I have experience managing a multi-pet household. The comfort and safety of all animals in my care is always my top priority. I work from home which means your fur baby will have consistent supervision, companionship, and plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, walks, playtime, and relaxation. My home is located near pathways and green spaces, making it easy to provide regular exercise and outdoor enrichment. I only accept one dog at a time, which means your fur baby won't be competing for attention in a busy environment with multiple dogs. This allows me to focus on their individual needs, routine, and comfort level throughout the day. Most importantly, I treat every fur baby as if they were my own and provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and connected while you're away.
“Chelsea was great! This was Rusty’s first time with a sitter and he seemed very happy! Chelsea made him feel at home and provided pictures and updates. I highly recommend Chelsea!”

“Belle says "thanks so much for such a nice visit with you and DuDu today"! And us humans say thanks as well, and we really appreciate your great communication and your lovely home. Hope to see you again soon!”
