“We feel really lucky that we found Haley to look after our 12 year old shih zu bichon. Haley is very warm, friendly and super accommodating. Our dog has always stayed with family and this was the first time that we left him with someone else. We could tell by the updates and pictures that our dog Mercedes was being very well taken care of and loved. We have a dog that has a lot of quirks and aggressive tendencies towards men and walking on a leash, all of which was not a problem for Haley. Our dog is also on a raw diet, and Haley accommodated this with no problem. Our dog took quiet a liking to Haley and her family, he was in no rush to come home, which is a good sign that he was sincerely well cared for. We are very grateful to Haley that Mercedes experience was such a good one, and she will be the only one Mercedes stays with in the future. He had, of course, met both of them at the ‘meet and greet’ at their home, but what really surprised us was how excited he was when we dropped him off. He knew precisely where we had taken him and he raced up their front steps and started barking with excitement at the front door. Clearly, Sandra and Jessie and their very sweet dog Daisy had made a great first impression! Both Sandra and Jessie are dog lovers and dog carers par excellence and that put Pippin and us at ease. Throughout Pippin’s two-week stay, Sandra sent us daily updates with photos, which was fun and informative. Pippin is an extremely well-behaved dog, so much so he never jumps on furniture (despite all our encouragement), but Sandra has a secret weapon—dog stairs for couch access!—and she taught Pippin how to use them. When I went to pick up Pippin, he was very excited to see me—lots of licks!—but he also turned to Sandra to give her licks, too, as if to say ‘thank you’. We have no doubt that Pippin will be delighted to spend more time with Sandra, Jessie and Daisy in the future!”

About: For 18 years I have always had a pet at home. Recently the last of my pets passed away and I have room in my life to care for pets of others. I don’t have children and I love animals. My time as a dog walker started in 2020 with Almost Home Canine Rescue and then Carstairs Animal Rescue. I love bully breeds especially. I work part time and am at home Mondays and Tuesdays at my house in Westgate. I am home some weekends and holidays. Please refer to my calendar. I currently don’t have any pets. Our yard is fenced and we also have an outdoor pen with a dog house. Pets are allowed inside our home and there’s no issue with allowing them on the living room furniture. We don’t have children so any pets in our care will have all our attention.

I work throughout the week from 9-2pm and sometimes off earlier it depends! I also have a vehicle to commute to your pet. Weekends are open and evenings! If I’m walking your pup I have had clients leave their treats and leash in the area that is visible but it is whatever you are comfortable with, I am very flexible!

Maybe my english isn't the best, but I can completely communicate with them without words, just attention and love. I'm actually working office full-Time job, however, I could share time with your pet during afternoon, overnight and weekends. Am I allowed to sleep with them? 🤭 During a sitting, I love double check doors and fences, take a look of the area I will share with my little paw friend, where is located their food/water, catch potential hazards and how we can play and share a good time. Of course, I would like to give the pet time to adapt to my presence before reaching to them, to respect their space.

Our dog has always stayed with family and this was the first time that we left him with someone else. We could tell by the updates and pictures that our dog Mercedes was being very well taken care of and loved. We have a dog that has a lot of quirks and aggressive tendencies towards men and walking on a leash, all of which was not a problem for Haley. Our dog is also on a raw diet, and Haley accommodated this with no problem. Our dog took quiet a liking to Haley and her family, he was in no rush to come home, which is a good sign that he was sincerely well cared for. We are very grateful to Haley that Mercedes experience was such a good one, and she will be the only one Mercedes stays with in the future. We don’t live close to Lake Bonavista, but the distance was worth our fur baby’s happiness!”

“We were so lucky that Reina and Justin were able to accommodate our two pups while we had to evacuate the Fort Mcmurray wildfire. We have never left our dogs with anyone before and I felt reasurred and comfortable leaving them in Reina and Justins’ care. They sent us lots of updates and videos and the dogs looked like they were having the best time ever running around the acreage and playing with the other dogs.
