I have a dog myself, it would be no problem to take an extra 1 or 2 dogs along on a walk and pet care would fit into my routine perfectly. I care for every dog as if they were my own. My resident dog, Ellie, is high-needs and high-maintenance which has allowed us to create an ultra-safe, heavily monitored home for anxiety-prone dogs or mischief seekers. Ellie's energy levels won't match that of younger or more playful pups. She'll play when the feeling strikes her, but otherwise she's very indifferent and will keep to herself. So if your dog get's really excited around furry friends, we may not be the best option. I promise to do my best in maintaining regular communication and will diligently follow special instructions. My partner and I both work remotely, which allows us to be home most of the time. Your pup can free-roam during the work day and we will provide walks/enrichment in the evening and on weekends. We have a fenced yard that borders a dog park. We take our dogs on minimum 2 walks per day. We will respect whatever meal times you have arranged with your dog. We have a variety of enrichment toys to keep them entertained, as well. We will always keep your dog on-leash unless you explicitly approve off-leash walks.

About: Ever since I was a baby I’ve spent my life around animals from small to large, domestic to farm. I have always had a deep compassion for animals. I have a flexible schedule with availability every other week from 4:30pm–10:00pm, and on alternating weeks from 7:00am–10:00pm. I enjoy getting out for walks, spending time with dogs, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away or busy. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking to their normal routines, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I understand how important trust, patience, and consistency are when caring for someone else’s pet.
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them has grown into both a passion and part of my professional work. I have 7 years of hands-on pet care experience and am a certified canine nutritionist, with additional education in holistic animal nutrition. I’m also a very proud dog mom to my Brittany Spaniel, Lula, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I treat every dog as an individual and take the time to learn their personality, routine, comfort level and needs. My experience with canine nutrition has given me an even deeper understanding of dogs, including feeding routines, treats, sensitivities and the importance of following each dog’s individual care instructions. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk or stopping in for a visit, my goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is receiving attentive, knowledgeable and loving care. At the moment I have a very flexible schedule while I look for a more permanent job, which makes pet care a great fit for my routine. I’m newly pregnant and already spend a lot of my time with my own dog, so caring for other dogs throughout the day feels very natural to me. Because I have my own Brittany Spaniel, I already have a daily routine of walks, feeding times, and making sure dogs get plenty of attention and exercise. I just need to make sure I’m home in the evenings for my dog’s dinner, but I’m very open to working out schedules that work well for everyone. I love the idea of spending my days with dogs and making sure they feel cared for, happy, and safe. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes, where dogs can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment and routine. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, feeding routine, walking habits, boundaries and individual needs. I follow your care instructions closely and treat your home and your dog with the same respect and care I would want for my own.
