“Our 5-year-old Pippin was a happy camper during his first holiday at Sandra’s and Jessie’s. He had, of course, met both of them at the ‘meet and greet’ at their home, but what really surprised us was how excited he was when we dropped him off. He knew precisely where we had taken him and he raced up their front steps and started barking with excitement at the front door. Clearly, Sandra and Jessie and their very sweet dog Daisy had made a great first impression! Both Sandra and Jessie are dog lovers and dog carers par excellence and that put Pippin and us at ease. Throughout Pippin’s two-week stay, Sandra sent us daily updates with photos, which was fun and informative. Pippin is an extremely well-behaved dog, so much so he never jumps on furniture (despite all our encouragement), but Sandra has a secret weapon—dog stairs for couch access!—and she taught Pippin how to use them. When I went to pick up Pippin, he was very excited to see me—lots of licks!—but he also turned to Sandra to give her licks, too, as if to say ‘thank you’. We have no doubt that Pippin will be delighted to spend more time with Sandra, Jessie and Daisy in the future!”
“We feel really lucky that we found Haley to look after our 12 year old shih zu bichon. Haley is very warm, friendly and super accommodating. Our dog has always stayed with family and this was the first time that we left him with someone else. We could tell by the updates and pictures that our dog Mercedes was being very well taken care of and loved. We have a dog that has a lot of quirks and aggressive tendencies towards men and walking on a leash, all of which was not a problem for Haley. Our dog is also on a raw diet, and Haley accommodated this with no problem. Our dog took quiet a liking to Haley and her family, he was in no rush to come home, which is a good sign that he was sincerely well cared for. We are very grateful to Haley that Mercedes experience was such a good one, and she will be the only one Mercedes stays with in the future. We don’t live close to Lake Bonavista, but the distance was worth our fur baby’s happiness!”

I am lucky enough to have a flexible schedule depending on my clients needs and I am open to arranging my time to best accomdate the pets I care for. I pride myself on my work and the care I am able to provide. I am working on completing a Dog and Cat First Aid course through the Red Cross. About: Animals have been a part of my life since I was 10 years old. Growing up, I cared for goats and helped look after chickens, pigs, dogs, and cats, giving me experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In high school, I completed a co-op placement at a veterinary clinic, where I was later hired. This experience gave me hands-on knowledge of animal handling, health monitoring, and recognizing when something may not be right. I’m also the proud owner of Romeo, my 10-year-old rescued American Staffordshire Terrier. Caring for a senior dog has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, enrichment, and understanding each pet’s individual needs. In addition to my animal experience, I have a background as a Personal Support Worker, which strengthened my reliability, attention to detail, and compassionate approach to caregiving. As the oldest of 10 siblings, responsibility and caring for others have always been a natural part of who I am. Whether your pet needs daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them like family. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands. My home is a spacious basement suite with large windows that bring in lots of natural light, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. There are 10 stairs leading down to my space, so I always take extra care with pets who may need assistance or supervision on stairs. I share my home with my dog, Romeo, who is friendly and used to being around other pets. I always prioritize safe, positive introductions and make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure. My flexible schedule allows me to maintain your pet’s routine with walks, feeding, playtime, medications, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible in their familiar environment. I respect your space and follow all instructions closely to ensure your pet feels safe and stress-free.
About: I have a very high tolerance and patience with all sizes and breeds. I am okay with cats as well. I’ve trained a couple of my friends animals a few times. And I love just getting out for exercise so would love to look after your fur companion to give him/her some exercise as well :) I was the kid who took in all the animals who were homeless. I am very energetic as well so if you have a very high energy dog don’t you worry!! I’m a student who is looking to get out more, make a bit of pocket money, and have a little fur companion to hang out with during the day. I can't wait to meet your fur babies and companions. I work throughout the week from 9-2pm and sometimes off earlier it depends! I also have a vehicle to commute to your pet. Weekends are open and evenings! If I’m walking your pup I have had clients leave their treats and leash in the area that is visible but it is whatever you are comfortable with, I am very flexible!

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbours dogs over the last few summers, and truly I believe I’ve gained the patience and experience you’re looking for. Any day of the week works for me, it would work best for me in the mornings, or late evenings. I am available when you need me. I live next to a park where I would spend most of my time with your pet, along with living in a dog friendly apartment complex. I’m always available I have an amazing support system here at home to help out always and make sure they’re well taken care of. Since I work full time this helps a lot and when I come home all my attention is towards giving them the best care and love. I have a large fenced yard and many toys for all types of pets, I have two cats myself, as well as a chocolate lab. I also always have treats and a safe place for them to sleep and play indoors.
About: While I’ve been a cat mom for four years, I also have a lot of experience with dogs. About: I am taking care of dogs( our dogs) since I was 14 years old. And now I am taking care of my GR since she was 45 days old. Dogs are my favourite creatures I moved to Canada with my dog. I take her out everyday 3 to 4 times a day for long walks when the weather is ok of course. We play with her toys, we play fetch, run and enjoy the sun Take them for a walk and play inside our outside the house as per the clients' instructions. Feed them when it's time to eat. About: I'm a Student Teacher hoping to look after pets during my spare time (I don’t currently have any pets at my house with me). I love all types of animals and am looking to care for pets in and around the area, but I am currently very flexible and able to travel farther to clients homes' as I have my own vehicle. I am able to provide house sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and boarding almost every day. I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have lots of experience looking after them. I also grew up working on farms with horses so I have some experience with cats as well. I've owned both Labrador Retrievers and French Bulldogs so I am able to look after dogs of any size with different energy levels. I look forward to hearing from you! I only have some classes Monday-Thursday, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pet! My schedule is also very flexible, so I am able to be wherever is needed. I live near dog parks, so can take your pets on frequent walks as well as give them lots of play time if they are high energy. I also have a large, fenced backyard for them to play in.

Our dog is also on a raw diet, and Haley accommodated this with no problem. We are very grateful to Haley that Mercedes experience was such a good one, and she will be the only one Mercedes stays with in the future.
