“Amber is by far the best sitter we have ever had so far!!! She’s straight to the point of what’s needed and how she manages her business and we love that about her :) We’ve had a few sitters on here who unfortunately just never let us know at least once or twice daily or send photos during he’s stay and we had to ask for it witch it’s part of the service that rover is all about and we feel so fortunate to have found her as he just loves her so much, thank you Amber!”

“Thank you very much for taking such good care of Barnaby. Sorry for the delay in reviewing Rover, as it ended up in my junk folder! That’s no reflection on how much I value your care of my pup!!! ? He recently had a rough kennel experience, but I wasn’t concerned when you sent pictures of him settled into your home. Thanks again.”

“It was my first time using Rover and our first time leaving our dog with someone we don’t know. Hui and her son were so great with Darnit and even sent us a couple of videos. I would definitely re-book with Hui!”

“Scott & Carly were very accessible and a pleasure to deal with. We coordinated a quick meet and greet and they even set up a drop off with my friend while I was out of town. I appreciated the attention to detail and photos. It seems like Duck was very cared for! Will definitely book with them again.”

“We love Gary! He's like a dog whisperer but better. Linc (mini dachshund) loves going to Gary's house and is well taken care of. He gets to play with other dogs as we are all repeat customers so there is no shortage of doggy playdates. Cannot say enough good things, you can tell Gary has a natural passion for dogs. Highly recommend giving him a try.”

“Juan and her family take the best care of our dog. This really makes us feel so relieved to know there is someone that is as kind as Juan and her family is. We will continue to use her as our dog sitter. Thank you.”

“We feel really lucky that we found Haley to look after our 12 year old shih zu bichon. Haley is very warm, friendly and super accommodating. Our dog has always stayed with family and this was the first time that we left him with someone else. We could tell by the updates and pictures that our dog Mercedes was being very well taken care of and loved. We have a dog that has a lot of quirks and aggressive tendencies towards men and walking on a leash, all of which was not a problem for Haley. Our dog is also on a raw diet, and Haley accommodated this with no problem. Our dog took quiet a liking to Haley and her family, he was in no rush to come home, which is a good sign that he was sincerely well cared for. We are very grateful to Haley that Mercedes experience was such a good one, and she will be the only one Mercedes stays with in the future. We don’t live close to Lake Bonavista, but the distance was worth our fur baby’s happiness!”

“Amanda was so good with Millie, helped her get comfortable and become familiar with her new surroundings. She had all the attention and love she needed. Amanda will be having Millie again when I need to leave the city.”

“Camille was great! Easy to connect with and always fast communication. She took care of Luna like she was her own. I was able to travel with peace of mind and without any concerns while I was away. Will be booking her services in the future!!”

“I found ourselves needing a dog sitter on very short notice, and couldn't have been luckier to find her. From the moment we connected, she was kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating. She has a genuine love for dogs, and it showed in the care and attention she gave to my pup. What really stood out was her experience and specialization with senior dogs. She was patient, understanding, and attentive to my dog's unique needs, which gave me complete peace of mind while away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and It's clear that caring for animals is more than just a job for her—it's a passion. We received updates, knew our dog was being well cared for, and came home to a happy, relaxed pup. dog sitter, especially if you have a senior dog. I will absolutely be using her services again in the future!”

“Henri rushes to the door as soon as we are near Mary and Ryan’s building. It’s always a good sign when your dog doesn’t look back as soon as he’s in the presence of these 2 wonderful human beings.”

“I wish I could leave 6 stars! Millie is amazing!!! She took care of our sweet black lab for 6 days and sent lots of photos of her being active! 1000% recommend! Thank you so much for taking such great care! :)”

“April was awesome! I've used her a lot and she is super reliable and takes great care of Lorenzo. He's always very happy to go to her house! She has a big backyard so he can run and get lots of exercise!”

“Eunmee boarded Vino for two weeks and he was so happy and well taken care of. Lots of walks, naps and playtime. I couldn’t ask him to be cared for any better. Thanks Eunmee and family.”

“Our 5-year-old Pippin was a happy camper during his first holiday at Sandra’s and Jessie’s. He had, of course, met both of them at the ‘meet and greet’ at their home, but what really surprised us was how excited he was when we dropped him off. He knew precisely where we had taken him and he raced up their front steps and started barking with excitement at the front door. Clearly, Sandra and Jessie and their very sweet dog Daisy had made a great first impression! Both Sandra and Jessie are dog lovers and dog carers par excellence and that put Pippin and us at ease. Throughout Pippin’s two-week stay, Sandra sent us daily updates with photos, which was fun and informative. Pippin is an extremely well-behaved dog, so much so he never jumps on furniture (despite all our encouragement), but Sandra has a secret weapon—dog stairs for couch access!—and she taught Pippin how to use them. When I went to pick up Pippin, he was very excited to see me—lots of licks!—but he also turned to Sandra to give her licks, too, as if to say ‘thank you’. We have no doubt that Pippin will be delighted to spend more time with Sandra, Jessie and Daisy in the future!”

“The cats came home happy and relaxed - the space available to them was spacious and bright with lots for them to see and do. Jeanette and family are lovely and we felt very comfortable leaving the cats with them. Highly recommend!”

About: I have lots of experience in taking care of cats as I have my own 3 year old cat named Naya, I have taken care of older cats who needed to take medication and needed lots of attention. As well as younger cats who required a lot more hands-on care, training and playtime.
About: I’ve had cats my entire life and have always loved caring for animals, especially cats. I understand how important patience, routine, gentleness, and trust are when caring for someone else’s pet. I know every cat has their own personality, whether they are shy, playful, cuddly, nervous, or independent, and I always take the time to let them feel comfortable, safe, and loved with me. Feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning, playtime, brushing, cuddles if they want them, medications, and very regular updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away, whatever you need, I’m here for you and your kitty. I have experience giving medication and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions carefully if needed. Whether your cat needs extra attention, play, quiet company, or a specific routine, I’ll will make sure they feel safe, loved, protected, and cared for like family. I’m also a big photo and video person, so you can expect sweet photo and video updates of your kitty during every visit, so you always feel connected and reassured while you’re away. 🤍 I currently have open availability, which allows me to be very flexible with pet care visits and boarding requests! I’m available for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and short-notice bookings whenever possible, so I’m happy to work around your cat’s normal routine and needs. Whether your cat needs feeding, fresh water, litter care, medication, playtime, cuddles, or calm check-ins throughout the day, I can make sure they are cared for properly and NEVER rushed. If your cat is comfortable around other cats, I also can offer overnight care in my home. As a cat mom myself, I completely understand that pets are family and that trusting someone else with your cat is a big deal and can be anxiety inducing. I will care for your cat with the same kindness, patience, gentleness, and attention I give my own. Your cat’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my priority, and I’ll carefully follow all instructions for feeding, medication, litter care, door and window safety, hiding spots, and any special habits they have. I’m very safety-focused and detail-oriented when caring for cats, whether I’m visiting your home for drop-ins or providing boarding. Before leaving a cat on their own, I always do a careful final check to make sure their space is clean, secure, and comfortable. I’ll make sure doors, windows, food, water, litter, and any care instructions are handled properly, and I’m mindful of things like small toys, cords, loose items, or anything that could become unsafe while they’re alone. If there are certain toys or items you prefer put away, I’m happy to follow that exactly. I take those little details seriously because I know peace of mind matters just as much as the visit itself. For visits in your home, I’ll keep their space calm, clean, and secure. I’ll never force interaction and will always respect your cat’s personality, whether they are shy, playful, cuddly, nervous, or independent. I’m also a big photo person, so please expect daily update pictures and videos of your kitty.

“Great experience with Felix and Rachel, such a personalized approach! Came back to happy, fed and clean fur babies. Rachel has been very responsive and explained all the details. Thank you!!”

“Robyn was so awesome with my cat. He was most didn't want to come home. He was well taken care of. It was so greatly appreciated as he is an elderly cat that loves lots of petting and cuddles. He was very happy when he came home, no more meowing giving me crap for days on end like he does coming from a kennel cat boarding. So grateful to of found Robyn”

“Nicole was great. They took good care of my cat and kept me updated with messages and pics. I felt totally at ease knowing he was in good hands. I'd definitely book with them again!”

“We were so grateful to have Gwen and James stay with our two cats again while we were away for 5 days. This was their second time with us, and once again they went above and beyond. It’s such a comfort knowing our cats are not only cared for but also genuinely loved—Gwen and James even mentioned how much they enjoyed spending time with them, which means the world to us. Both of our cats were happy and relaxed when we came home, and it’s clear they feel comfortable and safe with Gwen and James. Communication was excellent throughout our trip, with thoughtful updates that gave us total peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend Gwen and James to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter, and we look forward to booking them again in the future!”

“Stephanie and James had a great first day sit with our young puppy. They took great care, sent lots of updates and were flexible with arrangements. Really pleased.”

“Winston is a 55lb bernedoodle who has been coming to visit Amber and her dog, Dante, 2+ times a month for daycare, as well as regular overnight stays for over a year now. He is on the anxious side and Amber is able to calm him and make him feel at home away from home. She is reliable, flexible, responsive, and sends multiple updates and pictures throughout his stays with her. He is well exercised and tired when I pick him up after a long day. Thank you, Amber!”

“Amazing service from amazing people. Easy and fast communication. Loves dogs as her own. Plenty of updates on how happy the dogs are Will continue to use without hesitation. Thank you”

“JoAnn is absolutely amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My two pups love playing with Peanut. JoAnn’s back garden has a lot of space for roaming and adventure. JoAnn is very accommodating, even when it’s last minute. She also accommodates my schedule which needs flexibility for drop off and pick up each day. Very caring towards the dogs needs and very professional to deal with. JoAnn also provides great updates at the end of the visits.”

“Tommy was well taken care off and they made sure to know everything about him to be able to accommodate him best. They care lots for him and I appreciate that. I loved to see Tommy’s day care pictures and was updated on how he was doing during his stay. Thank you guys!”

“I found the home to be a very calm and gentle environment for Macaron's first day long stay, and the host and hostess to be very kind and caring individuals. Macaron does not typically walk for long distances for a new host, though on a very cold day, it is still good for Macaron to be outside, even if just for a little while. He loves the snow! Nicholas seems to quite knowledgeable about what a new dog visitor to the home might need to feel comfortable there, which was also a comfort to me. Thank you. It was a good day for us both.”

“My wee boy had an awesome day! Thanks Catriona for looking after him so well and helping him fit in with the pack. I am sure as a puppy he learned lots from the other dogs! See you all soon!”

“Ziying was flexible, fast to respond and sent so many pictures. She gave exceptional care to our pup, putting her at ease and giving her lots of time to play fetch (a favourite!). Highly recommend!”

“Camille was just wonderful with our dog Piper. Communication was excellent the whole day long. We received pictures and a video. If Camille was uncertain about anything like when to feed Piper she checked first. I also appreciated that she asked for my Vet contact update and about any allergies or injuries she should be aware of. I would certainly recommend Camille.”

About: I’ve taken care of the neighbor’s dogs of different breeds many times, I value a dog’s exercise and the time that I spend with them. I have a dog myself, it would be no problem to take an extra 1 or 2 dogs along on a walk and pet care would fit into my routine perfectly. I care for every dog as if they were my own. In my home, pets enjoy a clean, calm, and safe space where they can feel relaxed and loved.
“I love dropping Willy off when I go skiing :) Tayler and Maxwell are open to early morning drop offs and conveniently located off of 16th. Willy gets a nice walk and company instead of being home alone for a long day.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Brianna. She updated me with pictures and videos during Bobo's stay at her house. Bobo came home happy and all tired out from a fun day! Thank you Brianna!”

“Gina accepted Ginger into day care at a very short notice . From communication to drop and pickup , everything was really smooth . Gina updated us with photos of Ginger every few hours and Ginger really liked being at Gina”s. Thank you .”

“As soon as I passed over the leash with Neo he didn’t even look back. It was like the first day of kindergarten all over again. He was excited to see me at pick up time but as soon as we’re in the car, he’s having a nap. That’s a good sign of a good day! Thank you, Jeanette and Ferris and the kitties too.”

About: For 18 years I have always had a pet at home. Recently the last of my pets passed away and I have room in my life to care for pets of others. I don’t have children and I love animals. My time as a dog walker started in 2020 with Almost Home Canine Rescue and then Carstairs Animal Rescue. I love bully breeds especially. I work part time and am at home Mondays and Tuesdays at my house in Westgate. I am home some weekends and holidays. Please refer to my calendar. I currently don’t have any pets. Our yard is fenced and we also have an outdoor pen with a dog house. Pets are allowed inside our home and there’s no issue with allowing them on the living room furniture. We don’t have children so any pets in our care will have all our attention.
“Dominika is beyond incredible! We frequently see Dominika for daycare and my dog, Finn loves going, he gets so excited when we pull up. She is so understanding and gentle with Finn and is very compassionate and helpful with dealing with his anxieties. She gives frequent updates and pictures to show how his day is going and lets me know in detail how he did at pick up. I wholeheartedly trust Dominika and her partner with the level of care and love they give to Finn while I'm gone. They are absolutely fantastic!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. I’ve fostered dogs ranging from young puppies to rescue cases coming from neglect, so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs and personalities. I also worked at a dog and cat boarding kennel, where I supervised playgroups and cared for a wide variety of client pets. This experience made me very confident in reading canine body language, managing group dynamics, and ensuring every pet stays safe, comfortable, and happy. With a background in veterinary medicine as a Wildlife Biologist, I’m confident administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and keeping a close eye on your pet’s overall health and wellbeing. You can trust that your pet is in capable, attentive hands. I’m also very active—I’ve spent years hiking in the Rockies, so whether your dog loves long walks, runs, or high-energy play, I can easily keep up! As a former dog owner of 14 years, I understand the special care and patience senior dogs need, as well as the deep bond we share with our pets. In addition, I’ve taken training courses and worked closely with my foster dogs on skills like crate training and leash manners to help set them up for success. Your pet will be treated like family, with lots of love, attention, and personalized care. I have recently completed my Masters degree and am doing some online coursework to continue building my skillset so my schedule is very open and flexible to the needs of your pet! I take safety and comfort very seriously, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I’ve created a pet-friendly environment with potential hazards in mind, any plants are kept in a closed-off room so they’re completely inaccessible, and since there are no children in the home, there are no small toys or choking risks present. My space is also senior-friendly, with only one stair, making it easier and safer for older dogs or those with mobility concerns. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, including monitoring water intake based on their breed, activity level, and the weather, to ensure they stay properly hydrated and healthy. Overall, I aim to provide a calm, secure, and attentive environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have full flexibility in my schedule during the day through the summer months with advance booking. I am open to mornings, afternoons and evenings. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. “Felix and Rachel are amazing and reliable dog walkers. They have been walking my 3 year old Labrador retriever for a few months now. They send helpful pictures and updates, and help feed the doggo once in awhile too! They put a lot of effort into the walks, sometimes bringing my dog to a dog park or a nearby lake for some swimming. Highly recommend them :)”

Since I was a child, I've been the one in my family who looked after our pets, giving them love, attention, and the care they needed. Also, spend most of my holidays in farm with a wide range of animals and learning even more about farm life. That early bond with animals naturally led me to work in a veterinary clinic for several years as a vet assistant, where I gained hands-on medical experience, and a deep understanding of animal health, and behavior. In addition to my vet background, I’m also a certified Reiki energy healer. I’ve worked with pets and even wildlife, helping them heal and relax through gentle, intuitive energy work. It’s a beautiful way to connect with animals on a deeper level—and they feel it. For the past five years, I’ve been fostering cats in Vancouver, volunteering with a medical team. Also, in Calgary area offering trusted pet sitting for dogs. I’ve also helped out on a ranch, caring for the horses. Whether you’re in the city or the countryside, I bring calm, compassion, and commitment to every animal I care for. I treat your pets like my own—with patience, love, and respect. I look forward to meeting your furry (or feathered!) family soon in Calgary surrounding, or worldwide . 🐾 I’m a dedicated sole-entrepreneur who works from home most of the time — and that means your pet will get my full attention, love, and care throughout the day. Spending most of my time indoors when working makes me truly value good company, and what better company than a furry friend? Whether you're in town or miles away, you can count on me to treat your pet like family — with warmth, responsibility, and lots of affection. I bring a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet can feel right at home. I’ve had the privilege of caring for many of my own pets over the years, giving me hands‑on experience with dogs at every life stage—from energetic puppies to gentle senior companions. I have owned and raised a Black Lab who is no longer with us named Pepper and a Coton De Tulear named Casey who has just passed. I currently am the owner of a outgoing Cockatiel name Claire so my experience is broad. I am looking to show the same care in your home as I have given them. About: I had a dog since I was 8, and during that time, my family tought more than just care her 😊💖. Maybe my english isn't the best, but I can completely communicate with them without words, just attention and love. I'm actually working office full-Time job, however, I could share time with your pet during afternoon, overnight and weekends. Am I allowed to sleep with them? 🤭 During a sitting, I love double check doors and fences, take a look of the area I will share with my little paw friend, where is located their food/water, catch potential hazards and how we can play and share a good time. Of course, I would like to give the pet time to adapt to my presence before reaching to them, to respect their space.
“Tiana was amazing! She came over to meet us previously before we booked with her and her energy was so calmed and grounded. I immediately knew she would take good care of our pups for us while she is either walking them or house sitting. I would highly recommend her!”

I’m very comfortable handling animals of all temperaments, sizes, and energy levels! I know from personal experience that life can get busy and it’s not always easy to find the time or energy for long walks and consistent care. I’d love to help keep your pup happy, healthy, active, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind. Please feel free to reach out if you’re looking for reliable dog walking, pet sitting, or drop-in care — I’d be happy to chat! I strive to build trust with every animal I work with so they feel secure and well cared for, while also giving owners confidence and peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands during times of need.

“Scott & Carly were very accessible and a pleasure to deal with. We coordinated a quick meet and greet and they even set up a drop off with my friend while I was out of town. I appreciated the attention to detail and photos. It seems like Duck was very cared for! Will definitely book with them again.”

“I wish I could leave 6 stars! Millie is amazing!!! She took care of our sweet black lab for 6 days and sent lots of photos of her being active! 1000% recommend! Thank you so much for taking such great care! :)”

“Eunmee boarded Vino for two weeks and he was so happy and well taken care of. Lots of walks, naps and playtime. I couldn’t ask him to be cared for any better. Thanks Eunmee and family.”

“Sitla was absolutely fabulous with our golden doodle, Bailey. She is so attentive and we never felt that our pup was being loved any less when we were away on vacation for a week. We received many many updates throughout and lots of photos. Would recommend her to everyone and we will definitely be using her services again. Thank you so much Sitla and family! We truly appreciate it.”

“Had to leave our baby when we attended a wedding in Cochrane. Lots of pictures and updates throughout our girl, Rylai's stay. Looked like she really had fun in their outdoor walks. Will recommend Lea and Maxime to anyone who needs their furbabies taken care of for a night or even more. ☺️”

“When puppy Rosie came into my life almost a year ago, I already had anxiety about what I would do if I needed to go away. I could not bear to leave her! But then Sandra appeared! She put me at ease. Rosie had her first weekend at Sandra’s and it was so awesome. She sent wonderful updates and photos. I’m so happy Rosie had such a healthy and happy experience. Thank you so much!!”

“We were so lucky that Reina and Justin were able to accommodate our two pups while we had to evacuate the Fort Mcmurray wildfire. We have never left our dogs with anyone before and I felt reasurred and comfortable leaving them in Reina and Justins’ care. They sent us lots of updates and videos and the dogs looked like they were having the best time ever running around the acreage and playing with the other dogs. They were treated like family and I'm sure they enjoyed all the cuddles! My four year old also appreciated getting close with the Llamas!!! It was a highlight of her day!! I will definitely use Reina and Justin again and highly recommend them!”

“This was Mochi's first time being boarded with someone he didn't know and Adam took such great care of him. He provided constant updates with photos and video. Even provided him with some of Harvey's food when Mochi was being a picky eater and got him to eat. You can definitely tell that he cares about dogs and their well-being. Would highly recommend and will definitely use him again.”

“We felt completely at ease knowing our pet was in good hands. We booked with Dima multiple times and always a great experience. Would definitely book again. Our pet was happy and well cared for! Great sitter!”

“It was so nice to be able to relax knowing that Dexter was so happy at Leslie’s. She gave us updates and took all our advice so that Dexter didn’t feel anxious with her. With the awful weather, we had all kinds of travel issues and she was very flexible taking Dexter in very early and keeping him late. We truly appreciate it and will be continuing to have Dexter go there when we need it.”

“Lori took such great care of our Kuba and kept us updated with photos which gave us peace of mind. We would definitely our dog with her again. Thanks again Lori.”
