Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine, as my full-time job typically runs from 12 PM to 8 PM (8 hours), giving me plenty of time in the mornings for long walks, playtime, and quality care while the sun is up. I’m also comfortable walking in the dark, so evening walks are no issue—I’ll always wear reflective gear and ensure your pet has a glowing collar or light for safety. Since I don’t work weekends, I’ll have even more time to be present in your home, where your pets feel safest.

Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities. Before an extended stay, I offer shorter daytime pet-sitting sessions (4-8 hours) to help your pet feel at ease with me in your home. This also gives you time to run errands or enjoy a few hours to yourself. While you’re away, I’ll do my best to maintain your pet’s routine, providing plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment to keep them happy and engaged. I also take pride in keeping your home tidy—cleaning up any spaces I use, watering plants, shoveling snow, and handling small tasks so you return to a well-cared-for home. My goal is to ensure both you and your pet feel at ease during your time apart.

I like to be prepared so please provide me with your pet’s vet information (for house sitting and drop in visits). Please also let me know if your pet has favorite toys, activities they like to do or treats they can have. The more information you provide me about your pet the better. Are they friendly with other pets? Do I need to be concerned about a faulty fence latch or keep a specific door in the house closed at all times? Anything you can think to tell me will help me provide the very best care to your beloved furry friend.
A typical day
I will play with your pets with the toys they love. Playing fetch outside or tug. For smaller dogs it typically is easier to play in the house if it’s colder outside. I love to go on long walks with dogs and allow them to smell all the scents in the neighborhood since sniffing helps stimulate their mind and tire them out a little. Snuffle mats are fantastic to stimulate a dog no matter the size for when it’s too cold or hot to outside.

Please be advised that I work full-time Monday through Friday (Mon 11-7, Tues-Thurs 12-8, Fri 10:30-4:30) and am away from the home for approximately 8.5-9 hours during the day (Monday - Thursday) If your pet requires constant companionship or has specific needs during those hours, I may not be the best fit for your situation. Thank you so much for your understanding—I truly appreciate it and look forward to the opportunity to care for your beloved pets! Growing up with cats, I gained plenty of hands-on experience caring for them, especially when my parents traveled. I’ve also looked after my neighbor’s cat during her extended trips, ensuring they were well cared for while also handling tasks like plant watering and snow shoveling. While cats hold a special place in my heart, I also love spending time with my parents’ dog and friends’ dogs, which sparked my interest in pet sitting. I take pride in being reliable, detail-oriented, and treating every pet as if they were my own, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away.

Emma was great with our senior dog Zeke. Given his eccentricities we are always a little nervous leaving him with other people, but Emma took great care of him and provided regular updates. Emma also took great care of our house, leaving it cleaner than we did!
Fantastic experience with Emma. She has watched our doggo and home several times and it’s always excellent. She is very organized, she shares pupdates regularly, and most importantly our doggo loves her as well. Highly recommend!
I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing Emma is!!! It was my first time looking into pet sitting and I’m so grateful and lucky to have been able to book her. My dog Frank is very anxious and not friendly, and I thought he wasn’t great with strangers. You can imagine my nervousness and hesitation in proceeding with pet sitter. After our experience with Emma, I can easily say how surprised and over the moon I am to hear that she had only positive things to say about Frank! Emma is trustworthy, communicative, and clearly really skilled with nervous pups! I would book her again in a heartbeat. Plus, she left our place spotless and smelling really fresh! Thank you Emma!! Emma was incredible for us. She was very communicative, flexible, and great with our dogs. She sent lots of photos and updates, and texted when she had questions, which we appreciated. She took great care not only of our pups, but of our home as well. Highly recommend, and will be booking again.
