“Sofia was very responsible and sent us updates on how our old dog was doing, with photos. She was flexible and added an additional visit when it became clear we were going to be late getting home. We were very comfortable trusting her with our home and elderly pup, and we would definitely use her services again!”

About: Hi there! I'm a New England native and have been proud to call Burlington, VT home for the past 2.5 years. I absolutely love this community and all the outdoor activities it offers—I'm an active person and enjoy getting outside in any season, especially with a furry companion by my side. I've been around animals my whole life and have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes—from tiny breeds to gentle giants. Growing up with dogs instilled in me a deep love and respect for animals, and that passion only grew during the seven years I spent working with and riding horses. I’ve also volunteered at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in South Burlington, which has given me even more hands-on experience and training with a wide variety of pets and personalities. There I learned about the importance of petting consent, dog walking safety, and canine behaviour and body language. Currently, I have a few regular dog-walking and sitting clients through FPF, and I often help out with family and friends’ pets when needed. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walks in Burlington and surrounding towns upon request. Whether you're looking for a quick visit, a neighborhood stroll, or a reliable sitter while you're away, I’d love to help care for your pet like they’re part of my own family. My schedule: *Mondays 9:30am - 2:30pm, 5:30pm - 10pm *Fridays - 9:30am - 2:30pm, 5:30pm - 10pm *Saturdays + Sundays - I have very flexible timing most weekends. Please message me your requests and I will do my best to make the timing work! I am very comfortable caring for your pet in your home and I have experience with dogs who need additional attention/medication/dietary needs. I am calm and patient and will ensure your pet feels safe and happy!

“We are traveling with our Italian Greyhound Stan and needed a pet sitter to stay in our hotel room with him while we attended an event. We chose Nicole on the strength of her many positive reviews and would now like to add to those reviews! Nicole was very communicative, arrived right on time, and took great care of Stan. He can be skittish but he settled right down with her, and according to the several reassuring pictures she sent throughout the evening, Stan had a relaxing time in her care (mainly on her lap!). She even took him for a nice walk. We highly recommend Nicole as a caring and trustworthy pet sitter and only wish we lived in the same town so she could watch Stan again. Don’t hesitate to engage Nicole to watch your beloved pet, she is wonderful!”

“Ciera was lovely to have house sit for my cat! She took such good care of him and had great communication. I came home to a clean space and a very happy kitty!”

“Theo was an amazing overnight cat sitter for our 6 month old kitten. We travelled for a long weekend, and he was very communicative and sent lots of updates. He even took out our trash while we were gone!”

“Paul was great! He made a commitment to dog sit several weeks before and was willing to come by to meet Charley before. Very communicative during the stay and left our place just like he found it. Excellent sitter! Would recommend.”

About: My family has always had pets, which I was responsible for. I’ve taken care of reptiles, dogs, cats, and horses. You can rely on me for feeding, walking, bathing and much more! I am in college so I have a lot of time to take care of your fur babies! I am available on weekdays and weekends. My dog is a couch potato so I am perfect comfortable sitting around if your dog likes naps. I also like going outside so if your dog is up for a game of fetch I am always down.

“I highly recommend Ilana! She took such great care of my dog Jovie while I was away. She’s VERY responsible, reliable, and was so kind and caring to my quirky lil’ dog. She was also thrown a couple of unexpected curveballs and handled it all so well. I appreciate how she went above and beyond and am very thankful we found her. Thanks again!”

About: Everyone around me knows how much I love pets. I have helped dog sitting my boss’s dog, and as a first timer, I know I did great! I’m working a full time job, I’m ready for anything after working hours and weekends. For occasional home visits, I can make some exceptions depending on my schedule. I myself have a cat, and I haven’t been able to assess how she would react with other pets so I’m holding off on bringing other pets at my place for now. Otherwise, for the clients, I make sure I observe all safety measures and that I’m giving them all the love.

About: Experience with dogs of all ages & breeds, able to provide regular or one time dog walking of any preferred distance & occasional dog sitting as needed! I work as a nurse with a very flexible schedule- able to provide Monday & Tuesday regular visits/walks and Wed-Sun every other week. Can do anytime that works for you! My home has one cat so only able to provide in house visits with cat friendly dogs! Visits in client homes preferred, but can accommodate occasional boarding.

About: Hello! My name is Wren and I'm a college student with a summer internship in DC. I have been fostering dogs and puppies since I was 5 years old. I also have multiple years of pet-sitting experience (both dogs and cats), and I had two dogs and a cat growing up that I was partially responsible for until I graduated from high school. I am an active individual and I love to go on walks and runs. Currently I am available during the day on Fridays and at night the rest of the week. I will have more availability in May because I will not have started my next internship so I will be free every day. In June I am available before and after my 9-5 job and a longer-term pet-sitting option would be my preference. I do not currently have a place to offer for boarding, but I can assure you that I will comply with all house and Rover rules, as well as respect your pet/space and keep it clean.

“Ainsley is such an animal lover, it's ridiculous. I don't know how she does it, I have a giant great dane and a bernese mountain dog that's disabled. She manages to take care of them both, walking them at the same time, cleaning up their messes, and giving them all the love and attention they need! She is truly amazing!”

Ilana M.

“I highly recommend Ilana! She took such great care of my dog Jovie while I was away. She’s VERY responsible, reliable, and was so kind and caring to my quirky lil’ dog. David N.
“David adores animals, particularly dogs. I am lucky enough to work in an office where we can bring our pets in at different times. My work sometimes requires me to meet sometimes at length with clients, sometimes who are afraid of dogs so I cannot have my dog in the office with me. David joyously offers to take my dog and without being prompted he will make sure he goes out for pee breaks, has water and is kept comfortably contained. He is amazingly kind, professional and trustworthy. I have known him over 2 years and I trust him implicitly.”

Vivian B.
“Vivian is an extremely responsible and dependable individual. She shows patience and compassion both professionally and personally. You couldn't ask for a gentler person to trust your fur baby with. She is already a loving mom to her happy little rescue kitty, Etta. You can feel secure in the fact that your pet will be safe and cared for while with Vivian!”

Wren T.
“Wren is an exceptional pet and house sitter. She is conscientious, professional and very responsible. She communicates any concerns clearly, asks questions, and follows all of our requests to the letter. She kept our place clean and respected our space. Most importantly, she is confident and competent with our pets. The proof is in the wags she gets when she comes to our home. Even our shy cat shows her affection when she arrives. Wren has been flexible in the past when our plans changed last minute, which was very helpful when we were in a pinch. I would hire her again in a second - you should too.”

Annie N.

“Good communication. Animals happy. Clean house. I'll ask her back.”

Drew L.

“Drew was so amazing with our pup! He received lots of love and attention while we were gone. Our dog can also be reactive towards other animals on leash, and Drew did a fantastic job.”

We were very comfortable trusting her with our home and elderly pup, and we would definitely use her services again!

Bre and Adrienne were amazing! We have an older dog and a high-energy puppy, and they handled dealing with both of them perfectly. We came home to two happy pups and felt completely comfortable and informed the entire time we were away. Highly recommend and hope to book with them again!

Emma did a great job. My dogs love her, she was responsive to my inquiries and sent pictures. It was obvious the house and dogs were well cared for (and one of my dogs can be challenging because of her past). I will plan to use her again- I'd give her a 10 star review if I could!

Rani is marvelous!!!!!!! and my pets did not make it easy for her this time. :-(. She gave my old kitty all her medications and was able to get my anxious dog for a walk, which required an incredible amount of patience and kindness. She was super communicative, truly wonderful!!!

Lucy was absolutely wonderful with our pup, Rylie! From the moment we met her, she was kind, attentive, and clearly experienced with dogs. She kept us updated throughout the stay with thoughtful messages and tons of adorable photos, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Rylie clearly loved being with her! We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust, and we’d absolutely book with Lucy again. Highly recommend!

David was wonderful with our anxious dog while we were away at a wedding. So good in fact that she appeared to lose her anxiety issues all together. He is clearly very experienced with animals and they are very receptive to him. He knew exactly how to work with her to lower her anxiety levels throughout a long stay. We are so grateful to have found someone like him for our dog!

Ella was fantastic! This was our first time leaving the country without our dog and we were very nervous about the whole experience but Ella made us feel so much better. She took notes, asked great questions and was very communicative about what was going on even with our time difference. Our dog can be a little shy but took to her right away! Highly recommend!

Ollie is simply WONDERFUL! Our pups love Ollie so much and he goes above and beyond to take care of them. He sends thoughtful updates and pictures and is highly professional. Ollie took exceptional care of our house when we were away, too. We are so lucky to have found him and we can’t recommend Ollie for your pup needs enough!!

Jackie cared for my 2 senior pups, both recently adopted and still adjusting to their new home. To make this more challenging, one of my pups became seriously ill two weeks before I had to leave on a work trip. Jackie was totally up for the challenge. She not only delivered multiple meds on a daily schedule, she was so caring both dogs totally fell in love with her. Jackie’s daily updates ( with photos) were entertaining and assured me my family was in very caring hands. The house was cleaner than when I left it, and all linens were laundered and stored. Cannot say enough about this outstanding young woman. Exceeds expectations.Grateful she came into our lives.
