“Katelyn has been walking our dog Buddy for about a week now, and every day has been a breeze. She is always right on time, and it only took one walk for Buddy to grow completely attached to her! Getting a regular schedule set up with Katelyn was a breeze; not to mention a huge relief for us, as it meant we could get back on a normal schedule of our own.”

“Hired Brittany to walk/play with Mason during the workday (60 minutes). He had a blast and was relaxed and tired when he came back. Brittany was timely and efficient and sent pics/update when finished. Will be hiring Brittany again.”

“My Wife and I feel like we’re sending our Corgi, Phoebe to a beloved summer camp when she stays with Elizabeth and her family. She loves her and her dog Scooty and that puts us at ease when we’re traveling.”

“Helena was very professional, arrived at agreed upon time and took my two large dogs for walks. She was reliable, the dogs liked her, and she was quick to reply. Highly recommend.”

“Leslie was great with our black Lab, Sophie. She did a home visit first, and we talked about Sophie’s routine, predilections, and personality. We walked together and Leslie took the leash, handling Sophie well. She did a bunch of mid-day walks for us, and sent updates (usually with a photo or two). She usually responds quickly to texts and was flexible with me when I had to reschedule. Sophie and I were both happy!”

“Gianna started walking my dog weekly about a month ago. I went back and forth as to whether or not I wanted to hire someone given my dog’s reactivity on walks. I could not be happier with our choice to have Gianna!! She is responsible, communicative, patient and kind. My dog is noticeably happier when I get home, and it feels like a huge weight is off our shoulders to know he is being cared for by someone who cares for and loves him like I do. I can’t recommend her enough!!”

“I feel like I won the lottery of dog walkers with Stephanie! I have a difficult dog who I am always anxious to leave in someone else’s care. As I prepare to go on vacation I am at ease knowing my pup will be in great hands! Thank you for being a genuinely compassionate person Stephanie, no wonder the dogs love you!!”

About: I own three reactive pups, so I’m quick to act, I avoid stress, and keep dogs calm. Walk's are always safe, fun, and worry free! My three dogs are very different from each other. They have different quirks and personalities so getting to live with dogs that are completely different from each other has been a wild and fun experience. I have dealt with my pups differently I have a high energy dog, a reactive dog, and an anxious dog. I get out of high school at 11 AM, so on Monday through Friday I’m available for morning walks (6:00 am ONLY) and I’m also available midday walks. 🐶☀️ Saturday’s I can do morning and midday walks.🐾🦴 When it comes to taking care of my own pets, I’m very careful with the environment. Me and my pets are in if we are at home, I make sure that they’re safe that there is nothing on the ground that could potentially hurt them. I’m very careful, I have had wild experiences but I have learned how to keep my dogs in a safe and clean environment. When it comes to taking care of other people‘s dog, I’m more careful, I treat them like if they were my own dogs. A dog should never be hurt or harm by someone. They should be always safe, clean and happy. I try to be as transparent as possible with clients. I would send pictures, videos if necessary / requested and I would definitely make sure to have fun with their pets because they will be part of me.🐶🤍

“This is the second time that Tiffney has taken care of Brandy, and she did an excellent job. Her posts and pictures really gave us peace of mind. Thank you, Tiffney.”

About: As a dog trainer, prioritizing safety with dogs and building trust with their owners is fundamental to creating a successful and positive training experience. Safety ensures the physical and emotional well-being of the dogs, while trust with owners fosters confidence in your methods and strengthens the partnership needed for effective training outcomes. **Safety with Dogs**: Safety is the cornerstone of any responsible dog training program. By creating a secure environment, you minimize risks of injury or stress for the dogs. This involves using positive reinforcement techniques, such as reward-based training, to encourage desired behaviors without causing fear or anxiety. For example, using treats, praise, or play to reinforce commands like "sit" or "stay" helps dogs learn in a way that feels safe and enjoyable. Avoiding harsh methods, like choke collars or physical corrections, prevents potential harm and builds a dog’s confidence. Additionally, assessing each dog’s temperament and needs allows you to tailor training to their comfort level, ensuring they feel secure. For instance, a reactive dog may need gradual exposure to triggers in a controlled setting to prevent overwhelm. Maintaining a safe physical space—free from hazards, with secure leashes or barriers during group sessions—further protects the dogs and sets them up for success. **Building Trust with Owners**: Trust with owners is equally critical, as they are integral to the training process. Owners need to feel confident that you prioritize their dog’s welfare and respect their goals. This starts with clear, transparent communication about your methods, emphasizing your commitment to safe, humane techniques. For example, explaining why you use positive reinforcement and how it benefits their dog helps owners feel informed and involved. Listening to their concerns, such as a dog’s specific behavioral issues or their own anxieties about training, shows empathy and builds rapport. Providing consistent updates on progress, offering practical tips for owners to reinforce training at home, and demonstrating measurable results—like a dog responding reliably to commands—further solidify trust. By fostering an open, collaborative relationship, you empower owners to feel like active partners in their dog’s development. **Why It Matters**: Your emphasis on safety ensures dogs thrive in a stress-free environment, leading to faster learning and lasting behavioral change. Simultaneously, building trust with owners creates a loyal client base who feel confident in your expertise and are more likely to recommend your services. This dual focus not only improves training outcomes but also establishes you as a compassionate, reliable professional in the field. As someone who works from home, pet care seamlessly fits into my daily routine. Having owned dogs before, I’m experienced with their needs and love incorporating walks, playtime, and cuddles into my schedule. My flexible hours allow me to adapt to each dog’s unique routine, ensuring they get the attention and care they deserve, whether it’s a quick walk or a full day of sitting. As a dog trainer, prioritizing safety with dogs and building trust with their owners is fundamental to creating a successful and positive training experience. Safety ensures the physical and emotional well-being of the dogs, while trust with owners fosters confidence in your methods and strengthens the partnership needed for effective training outcomes.

“Jeannie is so great with my pup! She was able to help out with one days request. She is punctual, friendly, and my dog remembered her after a few months of not seeing her. I highly recommend her and will be using her services again!!!”

“Alex was great! She was punctual and flexible and I felt at ease having her walk my golden! I’m happy she took some time before and after the walk to listen to any concerns I have being the overprotective dog mom that I am! I’ll be using her services again!”

About: Ive always always been an animal enthusiast! I started working with dogs around the age of 15, and have since gathered around 9+ years of kennel and dog handling experience. I’ve raise 2 dogs for a non profit that trains PTSD service dogs for military families and fairly confident in my skills and dog handling abilities! I’m currently in between careers right now so my schedule is fairly flexible! Morning-mid day are preferred, but I’m sure we can work something else out otherwise! My schedule is subject to change! The dog I currently have now is a well trained lab who was selected for program breeding for the organization I raised for. That being said, I will most likely not be opening my home up to clients because I take dog behavior and body language very seriously and would never want to put a dog in an uncomfortable situation. As for walking, I feel fairly confident in my handling abilities with most breeds, I’m used to handling much larger and stronger dogs, and will most likely always have some sort of food on me for the dog if needed. I find that walking with food or treats creates a much more rewarding and positive relationship between dog and handler, and since I’ll be a stranger to your dog I want to build trust with them!

“Alissa is wonderful with our dog - who loves her. She’s thorough and conscientious, and always detailed in reporting back. She understands his quirks and clearly has a great understanding of behavior. Perfect communication and extremely reliable.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life. I have experience walking family members and friends dogs. I’ve also taken care of pets while family and friends have been out of town. I also have a dog of my own who I love and have had for about ten years now. I’m currently a college student home for the summer so my schedule is wide open. I am taking a summer class but that shouldn’t interfere with my availability. In addition to walking and checking in on dogs I want them to get some love too. I will not only walk them but play with them too.

About: 15 years of own pet care experience. I have cared for pets and volunteered on animal shelters before. I own a frenchie boy who is very calm , never barks and loves to eat. I co parent my pup, sometimes he wont be home and if needed on a case by case basis I can arrange to have your baby in my care alone :) Loved animals since little. I will love your pet like its my own. I’m a civil engineer with a frenchie pup working from home! Dog-walking or pet sitting will be a smooth addition to my daily routine that your pup and I will enjoy! Meet and greets needed for dog sitting. Will send you photos or text to let you know how your pet is doing! Please let me know of any fears your pup has. I typically let my dog sleep my couch or bed but will ask for permission first.
