“Caroline kept in touch at least once a day and sent pictures of my dogs. My dogs did have several accidents that I found in other rooms and on my rug a few times. When I got home my dogs had no water and both were extremely thirsty. I did ask her to get my mail daily and put it on the counter, however, that didn’t happen and my mail box was over filled. Overall she did a good job, my little dog seemed a lot lighter because he doesn’t eat when I’m gone, they are both back to themselves today.”

About: Hello! My name is Lauren. I took a step back from Rover due to time constraints and changing schedules, but I am now back! I’m a toxicologist full time, while getting to spend time with your fur babies in my down time making me detail-oriented, time conscious and provide care above and beyond any standards you have! I have my own dog, and she tends to be reactive, so I do have experience working with reactive (and of course non-reactive!) dogs. I enjoy both long and short walks, playing, or even just running around the yard. The services that I provide are as follows: Dog Walking: I love jogging with your furry friends. Long distance walks are my favorite. I enjoy the outdoors and will ensure that your pups get to explore in a safe manner while getting in some exercise! Drop In Visits: Next to running, I love playing with different types of dogs. I am the type of person that could play fetch or tug-of-war all day. I am also content giving belly scratches, treats and just lounging around. House Sitting: I am detail oriented and have no problem completing tasks that you wish to have done. I am an organized person and I am efficient in my work. I'll ensure your home is cleaner than how you left it if at all possible while also paying attention to your furry friends. With my current schedule, I have Fridays and Saturdays off, and I work a very early day on Sunday which allows me plenty of time to spend caring for pets. I also have some flexibility with my job to allow me to start a little earlier or later I like it best when pet parents provide details regarding their pets schedule! I like to make the care as familiar as possible while either on a walk or during the stay so everyone is comfortable.

“This was our first time using Rover as well as having anyone stay at the home. We’re in a bit of a pinch with dog care prior to a trip, as our two dogs are older and prefer relaxing at home over being boarded with alot of active dogs. Amanda was great! She came out for a meet and greet and sat with our dogs for a while. One of our dogs has anxiety, especially with strangers and she warned up to Amanda almost immediately. Amanda stayed at our home and gave us multiple daily updates as well as many photos of our two dogs during her stay. Came home to very happy dogs and immaculate house! Highly recommend Amanda. She was a natural and made us feel at ease and that our dogs were in great hands! We already booked her for our next vacation!”

I’ll have plenty of time to give your pet the care and attn it needs. I have a partially fenced in shared yard, but able to sit in back with it with a tie out.I will also walk your dog 3 to 4 times a day. I also have a safe area that will give your pet enough space to roam around in and stretch if I need to go into the office. Otherwise it’s free range with supervision while I’m home unless otherwise specified.
