“We have been bringing Kala over to Sabrina for day care for a while now and it was an easy decision to have him board there! She minimum daily photos and with an update during our trip and it was so valuable to know he was doing well and cared for. The warm fuzzies when seeing the photos from afar was so lovely every time!”

“Donghae was absolutely amazing with my pup! From the moment they met, I could tell my dog felt comfortable and cared for. Donghae went above and beyond—taking the most adorable photos and sending regular updates that truly made me feel at ease while I was away. You can tell he genuinely loves animals, and it shows in how happy and relaxed my dog was. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

“Luan was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Alfie! I really appreciated her consistent communication; she kept me updated throughout the stay with plenty of messages and photos, which put my mind at ease. Alfie had a blast playing with her dogs and came home a very happy pup. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! Highly recommend (:”

“Kiff was an absolute angel in taking care of my very moody (to say the least) Cocker Spaniel. My boy Blue, suffers from epilepsy and needs medication 3 times day, at specific times. Kiff is an excellent communicator and sends lots and lots of pictures, which I love. I was literally worried that my boy would not want to come back home with me. His dog Action, was an absolute angel also… I actually wanted to take HIM home with me. I will not hesitate to rebook with Kiff in the future. THANKS, KIFF!”

“Orlando is an excellent pet sitter! He gave us a lot of peace of mind and security from the very first contact. Our two dogs, Rex and Nala, were absolutely delighted with him — they loved the attention and care he gave them. Rex is a bit reactive with other male dogs (especially intact ones), but Orlando handled him perfectly from the first moment, with calm, confident, and very affectionate management. He is super caring and loving with the animals, you can tell he really enjoys what he does. We recommend him 100% and would book with him again without hesitation. Thank you, Orlando!”

“Jianing was sooo kind and good at taking care of Khichu. My cat is still young and is shy but Jianing was able to accommodate and take care of Khichu so well. I appreciate how much care Jianing gave and also all the updates with photos and videos. Made me feel at ease while I was away. Thank you so much. Will for sure book again.”

“My dog alvin looooved staying with Anel, he was content the whole time with no problems. Usually he struggles to eat when i’m not there but he was eating fine this time and that was an amazing sign for me. Thank you Anel!!”

“Kennedy is a super sweet and kind friend of pets. She kept in contact, updates with pics and videos, and overall just great. I'll definitely be using her in the future!”

“This was Shimin’s third time watching Kuchára, and she’s consistently amazing. Her updates were just as thoughtful and regular as always, and it’s so clear she loves Kuchára as much as we do. We’re so grateful for the care and comfort she gives our girl every time. 🐶💛”

“Our pup was comfortable with Irina, and that’s extremely important to us. We would recommend her to any pet parent who wants to ensure their pup feels at home!”

“Natasha, how can I express the great service that you guys provided. Thank you for your time flexibility, your great communication, for the constant updates, for being so loving and genuine, and for taking care of our puppy Ernest. Forever grateful. :)”

“My doggy, loved it there.. She was so happy and I got pictures.. It was a great experience. Inwill definitely use him again. Excellent communication?”

“Sang was the absolute best!! She was so communicative with us and cared so well for our dog Pinto. We were visiting LA for the weekend in a nearby hotel and felt so at peace knowing our boy was in good hands. Her and her husband took Pinto on walks, played with him, tried feeding him despite his typical lack of appetite, and sent us lots of cute and funny photo updates. Cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Sang!!”

Stephanie is amazing! We felt so comfortable and safe with our pup in her care, which means more and more as he gets older <3. He came home tired and happy, we appreciated the communication the whole way through! We are so grateful and will absolutely work with Stephanie again x

Alexa was so great with Pax we met beforehand so we could introduce her to Pax, and on the day I dropped him off he went straight into her home feeling very comfortable with me leaving. Alexa sent lots of photos throughout his stay of them walking, cuddling up and just having a great time. We live near by, and since being home Pax has led me to her house twice (probably hoping he could go hang out with her again). Fully recommend Alexa and will be back!

Our 13 year old senior pitbull stayed with Mark for a few days, and we are so thankful for how things went. Mark and his lady took such great care of our old man, Reggie. They kept us up to date throughout the stay with pictures and videos, and spoiled Reggie (with permission from us) with treats and brain games. Mark was patient with Reggie on his slow short walks and followed his medication schedule. 10/10 recommend!

Maggie was so sweet and took amazing care of my big boy, Scottie! I had never left him with someone who wasn’t a family member so I felt a bit nervous, but I got daily updates on their hiking and walk adventures which gave me tons of reassurance as a first timer. Her backyard is big, secure, and had so much for him to sniff! 10/10 would recommend Maggie. Thank you!!🐾

Nathan was amazing with my puppy, Power! As a four-month-old puppy who is still potty training and teething, Power requires a lot of attention, and Nathan was incredibly patient, caring, and attentive throughout his stay. Nathan was quick to respond, flexible with availability, and kept me updated with adorable photos and messages that gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Power was well cared for and getting lots of attention. Nathan and his team were both so helpful and made the entire experience stress-free. I would absolutely trust them with Power again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate pet care.

This was my first time using Rover, and I was honestly very nervous about leaving my precious pet with someone I didn’t know. After reading his reviews, I felt that he seemed kind and trustworthy. When I met him in person, he was exactly that—warm, gentle, and caring. He made me feel completely comfortable and at ease while my pet was in his care. It was clear that he genuinely cared and gave my pet lots of love and attention. I’m very grateful for the wonderful experience. If I ever need a pet sitter again, I would be happy to book with him. Highly recommended! ✨

James is the best! It was our first time leaving our rescue sheepdog with a sitter and she seemed so incredibly happy in his care. We got lots of photos and our girl was always smiling. He took her on hikes and she got so much love from James and his friends. Could not recommend him more.

Lavone was awesome! She had great communication from beginning to end. I picked Scrappy up in great spirits and happy as could be. I received pictures and video throughout his entire stay and he always seemed comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend Lavone for your next booking and already plan to go with her for my next upcoming trip as long as she’s available!

Mahalia was great with my German Shepherd during a multi-day stay. She was friendly and easy to work with from our first meeting through pickup. I really appreciated the open communication and daily photo updates, which showed my dog was happy and well cared for. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with her and would definitely book with Mahalia again.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
