I’ve both owned and sat for dozens and dozens of dogs over the years. I’ve been going to the Silverlake Dog Park for more than 30 years. I can board daytime and overnight and can work with you to make your pet's stay as enjoyable as possible.

I've trusted him with my Gypsy Rose for over 14 years. He loves dogs more than anyone I've ever met, and they truly come first in his life. I've watched him give up his own bed so his senior dogs didn't have to use the stairs at night. That's just who he is. I drive down from San Francisco to leave Gypsy Rose with Brian when I travel to Europe because it's a vacation for her. She doesn't even look back when I leave!!! I will trust Brian with my animals for eternity.
Brian’s love and devotion to animals is unlike anyone I’ve met. I’m a professional pet caregiver for 20 years, and Brian is the only one I trust with my own animals. I often look to him for advice as well. He is highly experienced, and his home is a pet haven. He provides a zen environment. I’ve seen the most anxious of animals find safety and peace with Brian. I’m delighted that he is opening his home and heart to others.
I cannot recommend Brian enough! My rescue chihuahua is extremely picky and typically doesn’t do well with men but he bonded with Brian immediately. Brian provides a calm, safe, and comfortable environment and his home is perfect for pups who love to explore or just love a good nap. As an anxious owner, I always feel at ease leaving my pup in Brian’s care! He’s extremely kind, loving, and experienced with dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments :)

Schedule
I’m mostly retired and am rarely away from home for more than 2 hours. I take pet sitting very seriously and treat my dog visitors like family.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard with gate closers. There is a pool available to dogs that enjoy it - but only if I’m supervising . I can do feedings and administer meds if required.

A typical day
You're welcome to bring your dog's toys and beds if they might enjoy that. I typically like to work on getting your dog (s) comfortable with my small dogs and then we get them playing in the yard, napping when they feel like it and supervised swimming if you permit it.

- If there are special meds, supplements, treats or any allergies they might have just let me know. In case of emergency I use Affordable Animal Hospital. They know me, they're competent, and just a few blocks away. I would make every effort to contact you first but feel safer knowing I have your permission to get your pet care in an emergency.
