Altogether, I have at least 20 years of experience with high energy breeds. These days I'm here in DC, where I live with my boyfriend and our corgi Romeo. Romeo is highly socialized, very friendly and will treat your baby as part of the pack! Trust that your puppy will have a friend to play with, and plenty of outside time (I live next to two dog parks, and tons of wooded trails). I'm 100% remote, and often use the time to walk my doggy around the neighborhood and take him to the dog park or wooded trails nearby. My boy is very active, so we're outside at least 4-5x per day. That said, your fur baby will get lots of fun outdoor time! My family dogs have had health challenges such as epilepsy, respiratory, food allergy and back issues -- all that to say, I'm comfortable adhering to pill schedules, strict dietary requirements, and making physical accommodations for your pup during their stay. I'm very attentive towards doggos in my care, and strive to provide an environment that is safe & enriching for them!

About: I’ve raised my own dog from 3 months old (she’s now 5) and have experience with senior dogs, including my family’s 12-year-old pup. My friends and family have also had me to take care of their pets. My top priority is always the safety and happiness of every pet. Most of all, as someone who has spend the last two years finishing up my masters and being in the corporate world; I’m looking forward to enjoying walks away from my desk top. Due to my work schedule I will be available in the mornings on weekends and Fridays. On the weekdays I will be available in the evenings past 6 PM! I also have a car so I am able to get to places easily. As every dog is different in their needs and behaviors, I will make sure to not only follow instructions but to ask questions to make sure that the best care is provided to your pet! On walks, I keep plenty of dog bags with me and keep a watchful eye on surroundings. I also carry dog shoes just in case the pavement is too hot in the summer months or if there is salt on the ground in the winter. When going into a clients home, I want to not only be respectful to their space, but to make sure I make their pet feel comfortable in their own home!

My work schedule is Monday through Thursday, and I typically get home around 7 PM. Because of that, my availability is best on weekends—I’m fully off Friday through Sunday and can give your pup my full attention during that time. I can also accommodate Thursday evening drop-offs for weekend stays. I have two pups of my own, and we live in a spacious two-story home with a huge fenced yard that we share with my in-laws, who also have two friendly dogs. The dogs can be separated or joined together based on your comfort level and your pup’s personality. There’s plenty of space for play, rest, and safe supervision—whether your dog prefers quiet time or more social interaction.
