About: I’ve been caring for my own dogs as well as pets of family and friends since a young age, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I treat every pet as if they were my own—ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My dog is friendly, well-socialized, and enjoys playing with other pets. With your permission, I’m also happy to provide high-quality photos during each visit, so you can see your pet happy and content. I currently work full-time in a hybrid position, which means I’m home about 3 out of 5 weekdays. I’m also available most weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors. During the warmer months, I often take my dog to the dog park for play and exercise. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship, whether we're relaxing at home or enjoying time outside. I do my best to ensure each pet feels safe, happy, and part of the family during their stay. I have an open, unfenced yard, so for safety, all pets will be leashed while outside. We also have a spacious deck where your pet can relax and enjoy the summer breeze. Inside the home, your pet will be free to roam and play under supervision. My own dog is friendly and happy to provide companionship if your pet enjoys socializing. I have a medium-sized crate available if needed, and plenty of toys to keep your pet engaged. Fresh water will always be available, and your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities.

“I would highly recommend Jolene as your pet sitter. This was our first time using Rover. Having a stranger stay at our house and take care of our dogs made us very nervous , but after meeting with her a few times I felt more at ease with her. She asked all the right questions, she was very professional and my dogs took to her immediately. She did exactly what we needed her to do which included giving one of my dogs medication and a brushing because of a skin issue. She kept in touch with us, sent pictures and she left our house spotless, without a trace that she was there. She even asked where my vacuum cleaner was to make sure all dog hair was cleaned up before we got home. I am very pleased with our experience with her and would use her again. Thanks Jolene!!!”

About: Nice to meet you! I go by my middle name, Amelia. I'm a local physician (with many years of animal care experience) who is looking to pet-sit or house-sit in the Danbury area. I am honest, responsible and attentive. I love playing/walking/jogging with dogs, enjoy some more peaceful time with cats. If you have horses that need care, please let me know as well (I used to care for 30 horses)! I have experience giving medicine, feeding new puppies, caring for older pets etc. I'm open to caring for any kind of pet, so long as the situation is safe for everyone involved. Gigs within 15min drive of Danbury hospital will take precedence unless I specify otherwise here as my sched changes. During the week, 6am-7am and 5pm-9pm is walking availability for individual dog walks and drop ins. Essentially full availability for house-sitting (this is where I shine most)! I work locally, usually in Danbury. I will take excellent care of your pets and/or your home. I am very conscientious about ensuring gates/doors are locked, and that your instructions are followed.
