“Joseph was great! Couldn't have asked for more. Made me feel very comfortable having him come by and check in on my kitty. Very trustworthy and communicated with me at all times including photos. He will be my go to guy. I highly recommend him!”

About: I have had cats growing up and they lived long healthy lives— almost 20 years old! They were my babies and slept with me every night. 6 years ago, my husband and I adopted Luke (bull terrier) and he is the sweetest most beautiful soul. He would never hurt a fly and has been an angel with our almost 3 year old son. Luke is apart of our family and has severe allergies that we take great care of. I promise to take just as much care of your babies as I do my own! I have a full time job, but am available most weekends. I get off work earlier than most so if need be we can schedule something during the work week! I’m pretty flexible :) I treat my pets like family because they are!! Your pet will be no different. If they need snuggles or treats, I’m your gal! I can also give them space if they need it and am happy to pick up their favorite toy and play with them. I love all dogs and cats, so yes, I will let your Great Dane sit in my lap!

“Christopher was great! He was super communicative throughout the entire stay, and I felt like our cats were in good hands. I would definitely have him watch our cats again in the future.”

About: I love pets and I'm very experienced with pet care. I've just finished my freshman year of college and am home for the summer. I have played with and walked my family’s dog, Ollie, since she was a puppy, so I have experience with walking and caring for both more unruly puppies and more mellow older dogs. I've also pet-sat for family friends and neighbors many times before, some of whom have much older senior dogs who need a lot of extra care, so I am experienced and capable of helping care for many different kinds of cats and dogs with different needs and dispositions. I also have a lot of experience caring for cats as I took care of my own cat throughout high school, spending time with him regularly, feeding him twice daily, changing his litter box every day, and when I go home on breaks I continue to do so. Also, I have pet sat for families with cats before as well and understand that each cat has their own unique personality and set of needs and I am able to cater to that as needed. Additionally, I trained my dog Ollie to sit, stay, come, drop-it, leave-it, play fetch, speak, and even high-five! So, I am a great option to hire if you are currently going through the puppy training process as I know the basics and will be able to work with you to make sure that my care of your dog does not undermine your training. (e.g. I will administer commands as you instruct me to and not repeat commands multiple times or incorrectly and I can uphold your leash training practices) Thank you so much for considering me as a candidate to help take care of your pet, I hope to get to meet you both soon! I am currently on summer break and although I am currently taking some online classes and work part time on the weekends, my schedule is very flexible and open. I’m available pretty much all the time and would love to spend that free time looking out for your fur baby. Additionally, as a broke college student I have no business rejecting work hours, so if you feel that you may need a lot of last-minute pet care- I am an excellent fit for you. I am great at following instructions, so I will ensure that I care for your pet exactly as you ask me to, and will also go above and beyond to ensure your pet is happy and fully taken care of! I can also help out with any additional small chores, should you ask, such as watering plants or taking in mail.

“I can't say enough good things about Jeremy. He graciously accommodated a last minute request, saving our our trip out of town. Jeremy instantly connected with our pit bull and watched over him thoughtfully. He kept us well updated via text. When our boy wasn't eating due to separation anxiety, Jeremy proactively brought him some real chicken from home that got him eating again. Jeremy is dedicated, trustworthy, and affectionate with pets. I wholeheartedly recommend him!”

“Nancy is really awesome. She has watched my dogs twice and the second time was a more urgent matter and she was able to help me out :’) she updates if they are, poop or pee which is helpful to know! Nancy is the best!”

“Winnie has been such a blessing to find on Rover! We have a very busy season of sports and Winnie has been there every step of the way to help us with our fur child. She goes above and beyond while dropping in on him and makes sure he’s well taken care of while we are away for the day. We are very fortunate to have found her on Rover. 🐾”

About: I have been lucky to have dogs and cats in my life since I was eight years old and they have shown me the power of pets to share love and companionship. The foundation of the care I provide is rooted in maximizing joy; nothing makes me happier than seeing an animal flourish and have a great time! In addition to my experience with breeds of all sizes and statures, I have had ample opportunity working with both high-anxiety and older dogs. I strive to match the needs of every animal and I hope to provide them with the same amount of love that they give back to us! I work a remote job during weekdays so I have flexibility to provide care and supervision throughout the day. I always welcome the opportunity to work with a ball of fluff by my side! I love to spend quality time with the pets I care for, whether that involves a long walk, a trip to the dog park, or ensuring that the belly rub quota is met. Every animals has its own needs and level of independence which I always ensure is respected. I hope to work with you to understand your pet so I can ensure they feel loved and at ease.

Whether it’s walks or cuddles, I ensure your pet feels loved and secure while you're away.

About: I grew up taking care of a rescue dog, which then taught me how to comfort and love a dog so that they feel safe. In 2018, we took in our first puppy and was able to train him throughout the years. Though we have only owned smaller dogs, I spent a lot of time with the pets of my uncles and aunties, where they taught me how to properly train and take care of medium to bigger sized dogs. Overall, I’ve gained plenty of experience on how to train a dog to be obedient, but also how to love them and make them apart of the family. I am currently in between jobs so my schedule is very flexible! I have a car so transportation is never an issue. I am at home with my dogs, if not at the gym or running errands locally. Just like humans, every dog can be different with a variety of needs. I will be utilizing what I have learned to tend to the general needs, but nonetheless, my care is mostly based on whatever the client requests and feels is best for the pets. In any case, I will make sure that the pet has their play and exercise, as it is a priority that they receive lots of love and fun from me.

About: On top of loving and respecting all animals, from the furry ones🐕🐈, to the ones with scales🐍🦎 and more,🐔🐮🐬, I am also a licensed veterinary technician so I have extensive professional and medical training in caring for animals. In my training I worked with many different breeds of dog from large to small, puppies to seniors, dogs with medical issues and am comfortable with dogs that may have behavioral issues. I am also comfortable with kitties of all ages, sizes and temperaments, as well. I can also take your pet to any vet appointments they may have if needed. I treat all animals with respect and love and I feel that it is a privilege to be able to watch over and care for an animal. I take the responsibility very seriously so any instructions given for their care will be followed to the letter. I may ask questions about your pet, like if they have a special diet, if they have any hand signals that are used, if they have medical issues, mobility issues or anything that may cause them to be in pain, or that may require special attention, or if they have special care instructions. I may ask more or different questions, depending on the situation. This is all to ensure that I can give your animal the best care possible💜 I have many pets at home; two cats, a dog, chickens and a lizard so pet care is always a part of daily life. I am currently a SAHM so I have pretty open availability to care for my animals and many more! I will provide the same level of care, love and respect in a client's home that I do in my own. From preparing meals, cleaning reptile cages or cat boxes, going on walks, administering medications, giving baths, taking your pet to any vet appointments if needed, and most importantly, giving the animals the time, attention and love they deserve. Their care and well-being are my top priority so any and all instructions given will be followed exactly. For the saftey of the sitter, please inform me if your animal may show any type of aggression due to pain or anxiety so that I can properly navigate the situation and give them the best care. Also, please inform me if there are any security cameras on the property or in the home for my saftey. Thank you so much and I am excited to be given the opportunity to watch over and care for your beloved pet🐾🩵

Nneka A.
“Nneka has watched my 9 year old terrier mix; Lady many times over the years and is always excited to see her and take care of her. My dog is usually not very stranger friendly (my fault for not socializing her properly) but when Nneka see's her, Lady is always excited to see her and Nneka is patient and able to pick her up and give her many belly rubs with no issues. I would always use Nneka as my primary dog sitter when I go out of town. I leave her a key and know that I can trust her with not only my pet, but my home as well.”

Joyce B.

“Thank you so much Joyce, my puppy was super relaxed and happy after your visit. You are the best👍”

Gerald A.
“I’ve known Gerald, and his much beloved pittie, Jax for over five years, and I can vouch that he’s a good person, and great owner/dog father. Jax is extremely sweet, and well trained by Gerald. I’ve noticed that Gerald has an impressive affinity with dogs. He would be a huge asset to your company.”

Avery H.

“Avery took care of our 8 year old golden retriever for three weeks and on other occasions too. He walked her everyday, gave her food, and played with her. Avery did a great job of sending us photos of Luna when we were away to ensure she was healthy and happy. He is very responsive over text when we wanted to see how Luna was doing while we were on vacation. Our dog loves Avery and she is always tired and happy after Avery babysat her. Avery grew up with dogs and he knows how to ensure they are safe, healthy, and happy. We have had Avery watch Luna multiple times since then and we highly recommend him to other dog owners who are looking for a responsible, loving, and thoughtful dog watcher.”
